Hebrews 6
1 Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith in God,
Pelo que, deixando os rudimentos da doutrina de Christo, prosigamos até á perfeição, não lançando de novo o fundamento do arrependimento das obras mortas e da fé em Deus,
2 instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. (aiōnios g166)
Da doutrina dos baptismos, e da imposição das mãos, e da resurreição dos mortos, e do juizo eterno. (aiōnios g166)
3 And this we will do, if God permits.
E isto faremos, se Deus o permittir.
4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,
Porque é impossivel que os que já uma vez foram illuminados, e provaram o dom celestial, e se fizeram participantes do Espirito Sancto,
E provaram a boa palavra de Deus, e as virtudes do seculo futuro, (aiōn g165)
6 and then have fallen away—to be restored to repentance, because they themselves are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to open shame.
E vieram a recair, sejam outra vez renovados para arrependimento; pois assim, quanto a elles, de novo crucificam o Filho de Deus, e o expõem ao vituperio.
7 For land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is tended receives the blessing of God.
Porque a terra que embebe a chuva que muitas vezes cae sobre ella, e produz herva proveitosa para aquelles por quem é lavrada, recebe a benção de Deus:
8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless, and its curse is imminent. In the end it will be burned.
Mas a que produz espinhos e abrolhos, é reprovada, e perto está da maldição; cujo fim é ser queimada.
9 Even though we speak like this, beloved, we are convinced of better things in your case—things that accompany salvation.
Porém de vós, ó amados, esperamos coisas melhores, e coisas que acompanham a salvação, ainda que assim fallamos.
10 For God is not unjust. He will not forget your work and the love you have shown for His name as you have ministered to the saints and continue to do so.
Porque Deus não é injusto para se esquecer da vossa obra, e do trabalho da caridade que para com o seu nome mostrastes, emquanto ministrastes aos sanctos; e ainda ministraes.
11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure.
Mas desejamos que cada um de vós mostre o mesmo cuidado até ao fim, para completa certeza da esperança;
12 Then you will not be sluggish, but will imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
Para que vos não façaes negligentes, mas sejaes imitadores dos que pela fé e paciencia herdam as promessas.
13 When God made His promise to Abraham, since He had no one greater to swear by, He swore by Himself,
Porque, quando Deus fez a promessa a Abrahão, como não tinha outro maior por quem jurasse, jurou por si mesmo,
14 saying, “I will surely bless you and multiply your descendants.”
Dizendo: Certamente, abençoando-te, abençoarei, e, multiplicando-te, multiplicarei.
15 And so Abraham, after waiting patiently, obtained the promise.
E assim, esperando com paciencia, alcançou a promessa.
16 Men swear by someone greater than themselves, and their oath serves as a confirmation to end all argument.
Porque os homens certamente juram por alguem superior a elles, e o juramento para confirmação é, para elles, o fim de toda a contenda.
17 So when God wanted to make the unchanging nature of His purpose very clear to the heirs of the promise, He guaranteed it with an oath.
Pelo que, querendo Deus mostrar mais abundantemente a immutabilidade de seu conselho aos herdeiros da promessa, se interpoz com juramento;
18 Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged.
Para que por duas coisas immutaveis, nas quaes é impossivel que Deus minta, tenhamos a firme consolação, nós, os que pomos o nosso refugio em reter a esperança proposta;
19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,
A qual temos como uma ancora da alma segura e firme, e que entra até dentro do véu,
