< Hebrews 1 >
1 On many past occasions and in many different ways, God spoke to our fathers through the prophets.
Na mgbe ochie, Chineke gwara nna nna anyị ha okwu nʼoge dị iche iche site nʼọnụ ndị amụma, na site nʼụzọ ndị ọzọ dị iche iche.
2 But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. (aiōn )
Ma nʼoge ikpeazụ ndị a, ọ gwala anyị okwu site nʼọnụ Ọkpara ya, onye o nyefere ihe niile nʼaka. Ọ bụ site nʼaka ya ka o siri kee ụwa niile na ihe dị nʼime ya. (aiōn )
3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
Ọ na-enwupụta ebube ya na-anọchitekwa anya ụdịdị ya, ebe o ji okwu ya dị ike na-ejikọta ihe niile. Mgbe ọ sachapụrụ ma hichapụkwa mmehie niile, ọ nọdụrụ nʼaka nri nke Onye dị ukwuu, dị elu nʼeluigwe.
4 So He became as far superior to the angels as the name He has inherited is excellent beyond theirs.
Ya mere, ọ bụrụla onye dị ukwu karịa ndị mmụọ ozi dị ka aha e nyere ya si dị elu karịa nke ha.
5 For to which of the angels did God ever say: “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father”? Or again: “I will be His Father, and He will be My Son”?
Onye nʼetiti ndị mmụọ ozi ka ọ gwarala sị, “Ị bụ Ọkpara m. Taa abụrụla m Nna gị”? Maọbụ ọzọkwa, “Aga m abụrụ ya Nna, ya onwe ya ga-abụkwara m Nwa”?
6 And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all God’s angels worship Him.”
Ọzọkwa, mgbe o mere ka nwa mbụ ya bịa nʼụwa, o nyere iwu sị, “Ka ndị mmụọ ozi Chineke niile fee ya ofufe.”
7 Now about the angels He says: “He makes His angels winds, His servants flames of fire.”
8 But about the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom. (aiōn )
Ma banyere Ọkpara ahụ, ọ sịrị, “Ocheeze gị, O Chineke, ga-adịgide ruo mgbe ebighị ebi. Mkpara omume ziri ezi ka mkpara alaeze gị ga-abụ. (aiōn )
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You above Your companions with the oil of joy.”
Ị hụrụ ezi omume nʼanya ma kpọọ ihe ọjọọ asị. Nʼihi nke a, Chineke, nke bụ Chineke gị, emeela ka ịdị elu karịa ndị ibe gị niile site na ite gị mmanụ nke ọṅụ.”
10 And: “In the beginning, O Lord, You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.
Ọ sịkwara, “Na mmalite, Onyenwe anyị, ọ bụ gị tọrọ ntọala ụwa, eluigwe bụkwa ọrụ aka gị.
11 They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment.
Ha ga-ala nʼiyi, ma gị onwe gị ga-anọgide. Ha niile ga-aka nka dịka uwe.
12 You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed; but You remain the same, and Your years will never end.”
Ị ga-apịakọta ha, gbanwee ha dị ka akwa. Ma gị onwe gị enweghị mgbanwe. Ọnụọgụgụ afọ gị agaghị enwe ọgwụgwụ ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.”
13 Yet to which of the angels did God ever say: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet”?
O nweela mmụọ ozi ọbụla ọ sịrị, “Nọdụ ala nʼaka nri m ruo mgbe m ga-eme ndị iro gị ihe mgbakwasị ụkwụ nye ụkwụ gị”?
14 Are not the angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Ndị mmụọ ozi niile, ha abụghị mmụọ ndị na-ejere Chineke ozi, ndị a na-ezipụ ka ha jee ozi nʼihi ndị ahụ ga-eketa nzọpụta?
