< Ezekiel 7 >

1 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Awo ekigambo kya Mukama ne kinzijira nti,
2 “O son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says to the land of Israel: ‘The end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.
“Omwana w’omuntu, bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda eri ensi ya Isirayiri nti: “‘Enkomerero! Enkomerero etuuse ku nsonda ennya ez’ensi.
3 The end is now upon you, and I will unleash My anger against you. I will judge you according to your ways and repay you for all your abominations.
Enkomerero ebatuuseeko era ndibasumulurira obusungu bwange, ne mbasalira omusango ng’engeri zammwe bwe ziri era ndibabonereza ng’ebikolwa byammwe eby’ekkive byonna bwe biri.
4 I will not look on you with pity, nor will I spare you, but I will punish you for your ways and for the abominations among you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’
Siribatunuulira na liiso lya kisa newaakubadde okubasonyiwa; naye ndibasasula ng’engeri zammwe, n’ebikolwa byammwe eby’ekkive bwe biri mu mmwe. Mulyoke mumanye nga nze Mukama.’
5 This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Disaster! An unprecedented disaster — behold, it is coming!
“Bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda nti: “‘Okuzikirizibwa okutali kumu laba kujja.
6 The end has come! The end has come! It has roused itself against you. Behold, it has come!
Enkomerero etuuse, enkomerero etuuse! Ebagolokokeddeko era ejja.
7 Doom has come to you, O inhabitants of the land. The time has come; the day is near; there is panic on the mountains instead of shouts of joy.
Akabi kabajjidde, mmwe abatuuze. Ekiseera kituuse era olunaku luli kumpi, olunaku olw’okutya so si olw’okujaguliriza ku nsozi.
8 Very soon I will pour out My wrath upon you and vent My anger against you; I will judge you according to your ways and repay you for all your abominations.
Nnaatera okubalaga obusungu bwange, n’ekiruyi kyange. Ndibasalira omusango ng’enneeyisa yammwe bw’eri, ne mbasasula ng’ebikolwa byammwe byonna eby’ekkive bwe biri.
9 I will not look on you with pity, nor will I spare you, but I will punish you for your ways and for the abominations among you. Then you will know that it is I, the LORD, who strikes the blow.
Siribatunuulira na liiso lya kisa newaakubadde okubasonyiwa. Ndibabonereza ng’engeri zammwe bwe ziri n’ebikolwa byammwe eby’ekkive bwe biri mu mmwe. Mulyoke mumanye nga nze Mukama Katonda, era mbonereza.
10 Behold, the day is here! It has come! Doom has gone out, the rod has budded, arrogance has bloomed.
“‘Olunaku luuluno lutuuse. Akabi kabajjidde, obutali bwenkanya bumeze, n’amalala gamulisizza.
11 Their violence has grown into a rod to punish their wickedness. None of them will remain: none of their multitude, none of their wealth, and nothing of value.
Obusungu bweyongedde ne bufuuka omuggo okubonereza obutali butuukirivu; tewaliba n’omu alisigalawo; tewaliba n’omu ku kibiina newaakubadde ku byobugagga byabwe, newaakubadde eky’omuwendo.
12 The time has come; the day has arrived. Let the buyer not rejoice and the seller not mourn, for wrath is upon the whole multitude.
Ekiseera kituuse, n’olunaku lutuuse. Agula aleme okusanyukirira, n’oyo atunda aleme okunakuwala, kubanga obusungu bubuubuukidde ku kibiina kyonna.
13 The seller will surely not recover what he sold while both remain alive. For the vision concerning the whole multitude will not be revoked, and because of their iniquity, not one of them will preserve his life.
Atunda taliddizibwa kintu kye yatunda, bombi bwe banaaba nga bakyali balamu. Kubanga okubonerezebwa kuli ku kibiina kyonna so tekukyajulukuka. Era olw’ebibi byabwe tewaliba n’omu aliwonya obulamu bwe.
14 They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready, but no one goes to war, for My wrath is upon the whole multitude.
“‘Ne bwe balifuuwa ekkondeere ne bateekateeka buli kimu, tewaliba n’omu aligenda mu lutalo, kubanga obusungu bwange bubuubuukidde ku kibiina kyonna.
15 The sword is outside; plague and famine are within. Those in the country will die by the sword, and those in the city will be devoured by famine and plague.
Ebweru waliyo ekitala ne munda waliyo kawumpuli n’enjala. Abali ku ttale balifa kitala, abali mu kibuga balimalibwawo kawumpuli n’enjala.
16 The survivors will escape and live in the mountains, moaning like doves of the valley, each for his own iniquity.
N’abo abaliwonawo baliddukira mu nsozi, nga bakaaba nga bukaamukuukulu obw’omu biwonvu, buli omu olw’ebibi bye.
17 Every hand will go limp, and every knee will turn to water.
Emikono gyonna giriremala, n’amaviivi gonna galiba ng’amazzi.
18 They will put on sackcloth, and terror will overwhelm them. Shame will cover all their faces, and all their heads will be shaved.
Balyambala ebibukutu, ne bakwatibwa ensisi; baliswala, n’emitwe gyabwe girimwebwa.
19 They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will seem unclean. Their silver and gold cannot save them in the day of the wrath of the LORD. They cannot satisfy their appetites or fill their stomachs with wealth, for it became the stumbling block that brought their iniquity.
“‘Balisuula effeeza yaabwe mu nguudo, ne zaabu yaabwe eriba ekitali kirongoofu; effeeza yaabwe ne zaabu yaabwe tebiriyinza kubalokola ku lunaku lwa Mukama olw’obusungu bwe. Era tebalikkuta newaakubadde okukkusibwa. Ebyo bye byabaleetera okugwa mu kibi.
20 His beautiful ornaments they transformed into pride and used them to fashion their vile images and detestable idols. Therefore I will make these into something unclean for them.
Ebintu byabwe eby’omuwendo byabaleetera amalala, era ekyavaamu kwe kukola bakatonda abalala ab’emizizo n’ebintu ebirala eby’ekivve, era kyendiva mbifuula ebitali birongoofu gye bali.
21 And I will hand these things over as plunder to foreigners and loot to the wicked of the earth, who will defile them.
Ndibiwaayo byonna eri bannamawanga n’eri abakozi b’ebibi ab’omu nsi okuba omunyago era balibyonoona.
22 I will turn My face away from them, and they will defile My treasured place. Violent men will enter it, and they will defile it.
Ndikyusa amaaso gange ne si batunuulira, era balyonoona ekifo kyange eky’omuwendo; n’abanyazi balikiyingiramu ne bakyonoona.
23 Forge the chain, for the land is full of crimes of bloodshed, and the city is full of violence.
“‘Muteeketeeke enjegere kubanga ensi ejjudde omusango ogw’okuyiwa omusaayi, n’ekibuga kijjudde effujjo.
24 So I will bring the most wicked of nations to take possession of their houses. I will end the pride of the mighty, and their holy places will be profaned.
Ndireeta eggwanga erisingirayo ddala okuba ebbi, ne batwala ennyumba zaabwe, era ndikomya amalala gaabwe n’ebifo byabwe ebitukuvu biryonoonebwa.
25 Anguish is coming! They will seek peace, but find none.
Entiisa bw’erijja, balinoonya emirembe naye tebaligifuna.
26 Disaster upon disaster will come, and rumor after rumor. Then they will seek a vision from a prophet, but instruction from the priests will perish, as will counsel from the elders.
Akabi kalyeyongera ku kabi, ne ŋŋambo ne zeeyongera; balinoonya okwolesebwa okuva eri nnabbi, naye okuyigirizibwa kwa kabona kulibula n’okubuulirira kw’abakadde kulyerabirwa.
27 The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with despair, and the hands of the people of the land will tremble. I will deal with them according to their conduct, and I will judge them by their own standards. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”
Kabaka alikaaba, n’omulangira alijjula obuyinike, n’emikono gy’abantu mu ggwanga girikankana olw’entiisa. Ndibakolako ng’enneeyisa yaabwe bw’eri, era ndibasalira omusango ng’ensala yaabwe bw’eri. Balyoke bamanye nga nze Mukama Katonda.’”
