< Ezekiel 6 >
1 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị, sị,
2 “Son of man, set your face against the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.
“Nwa nke mmadụ, chee iru gị nʼugwu niile nke nʼIzrel, buo amụma megide ha,
3 You are to say: ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD! This is what the Lord GOD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: I am about to bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places.
6 Wherever you live, the cities will be laid waste and the high places will be demolished, so that your altars will be laid waste and desecrated, your idols smashed and obliterated, your incense altars cut down, and your works blotted out.
Ebe ọbụla unu bi, a ga-etikpọ obodo ndị ahụ, tipịakwa ebe ịchụ aja niile, si otu a mee ka ebe ịchụ aja unu ghọọ mkpọmkpọ ebe nke tọgbọrọ nʼefu. A ga-etipịakwa arụsị unu, kụjiekwa ebe unu na-anọ esure ihe nsure ọkụ na-esi isi ụtọ. Ihe niile unu ji aka unu mepụta ka a ga-ekpochapụkwa.
7 The slain will fall among you, and you will know that I am the LORD.
Ndị e gburu egbu ga-ada nʼetiti unu, unu ga-amata na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị.
8 Yet I will leave a remnant, for some of you will escape the sword when you are scattered among the nations and throughout the lands.
“‘Ma aga m eme ka ụfọdụ nʼime ndị m fọdụ. Ndị ahụ fọdụrụ ga-esi nʼihu mma agha gbapụ, gbasasịa nʼala niile, na mba niile nke ụwa.
9 Then in the nations to which they have been carried captive, your survivors will remember Me—how I have been grieved by their adulterous hearts that turned away from Me, and by their eyes that lusted after idols. So they will loathe themselves for the evil they have done and for all their abominations.
10 And they will know that I am the LORD; I did not declare in vain that I would bring this calamity upon them.
Ha ga-amata na m bụ Onyenwe anyị, matakwa na mgbe m gwara ha na ihe ndị a niile gaje ịbịakwasị ha, na ọ bụghị okwu efu ka m kwuru.
11 This is what the Lord GOD says: Clap your hands, stomp your feet, and cry out “Alas!” because of all the wicked abominations of the house of Israel, who will fall by sword and famine and plague.
“‘Otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị sịrị, kụkọọ ọbọ aka gị abụọ ọnụ, zọkwaa ụkwụ gị nʼala, ma tisikwaa mkpu akwa ike site nʼobi mwute, nʼihi ihe ọjọọ niile na omume rụrụ arụ ndị Izrel mere. Nʼihi na ha ga ịla nʼiyi site nʼoke ụnwụ, na site nʼagha, na site nʼọrịa na-efe efe.
12 He who is far off will die by the plague, he who is near will fall by the sword, and he who remains will die by famine. So I will vent My fury upon them.
Ndị nọ nʼebe dị anya ga-anwụ site nʼọrịa na-efe efe, ndị nọ nso ga-anwụ site na mma agha, ndị fọdụrụ ndụ ga-anwụ site nʼagụụ. Aga m eme ka ha nụrụ ụfụ oke iwe m.
13 Then you will know that I am the LORD, when their slain lie among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the mountaintops, and under every green tree and leafy oak—the places where they offered fragrant incense to all their idols.
Unu ga-amata na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị, mgbe ozu ndị e gburu egbu ga-atọgbọsị nʼetiti arụsị niile, na nʼebe ịchụ aja niile, na nʼugwu nta niile, na nʼugwu ukwu niile, na nʼokpuru osisi ọbụla, na nʼokpuru osisi ook niile, ebe ha na-anọ na-esure ụda na-esi isi ụtọ nye arụsị ha.
14 I will stretch out My hand against them, and wherever they live I will make the land a desolate waste, from the wilderness to Diblah. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”
E, aga m esetipụ aka m megide ha, mee ka ala ha laa nʼiyi, nʼebe niile ha bi, site nʼọzara ruo na Ribla. Mgbe ahụ, ha ga-amata na mụ onwe m bụ Onyenwe anyị.’”
