Ezekiel 5
1 “As for you, son of man, take a sharp sword, use it as a barber’s razor, and shave your head and beard. Then take a set of scales and divide the hair.
E tu, filho do homem, toma para ti uma espada afiada [que te sirva como] navalha de barbeiro; toma, e faze-a passar por tua cabeça e por tua barba; depois toma para ti um peso de balança, e reparte [os cabelos].
2 When the days of the siege have ended, you are to burn up a third of the hair inside the city; you are also to take a third and slash it with the sword all around the city; and you are to scatter a third to the wind. For I will unleash a sword behind them.
Uma terceira parte queimarás com fogo no meio da cidade, quando se completarem os dias do cerco; então tomarás [outra] terceira parte, ferindo com espada ao redor dela; e a [outra] terceira parte espalharás ao vento; pois eu desembainharei a espada atrás deles.
3 But you are to take a few strands of hair and secure them in the folds of your garment.
Tomarás também dali alguns poucos [cabelos], e os atarás nas bordas [de] tua [roupa].
4 Again, take a few of these, throw them into the fire, and burn them. From there a fire will spread to the whole house of Israel.
E tomarás outra vez deles, e os lançarás no meio do fogo, e com fogo os queimarás; dali sairá um fogo contra toda a casa de Israel.
5 This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the center of the nations, with countries all around her.
Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Esta é Jerusalém, a qual eu pus no meio das nações, e das terras ao redor dela.
6 But she has rebelled against My ordinances more wickedly than the nations, and against My statutes worse than the countries around her. For her people have rejected My ordinances and have not walked in My statutes.’
Porém ela se rebelou contra meus juízos mais que as nações, e contra meus estatutos mais que as terras que estão ao redor dela; pois rejeitaram meus juízos, e não andaram conforme meus estatutos.
7 Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘You have been more insubordinate than the nations around you; you have not walked in My statutes or kept My ordinances, nor have you even conformed to the ordinances of the nations around you.’
Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Por haverdes vos rebelado mais que as nações que estão ao redor de vós, não haverdes andado em meus estatutos, nem obedecido minhas leis, nem sequer conforme as leis das nações que estão ao redor de vós,
8 Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I Myself am against you, Jerusalem, and I will execute judgments among you in the sight of the nations.
Por isso assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu, eu mesmo, estou contra ti; e farei julgamentos no meio de ti diante dos olhos das nações.
9 Because of all your abominations, I will do to you what I have never done before and will never do again.
E farei em ti o que nunca fiz, nem jamais farei coisa semelhante, por causa da todas as tuas abominações.
10 As a result, fathers among you will eat their sons, and sons will eat their fathers. I will execute judgments against you and scatter all your remnant to every wind.’
Por isso os pais comerão aos filhos no meio de ti, e os filhos comerão a seus pais; e farei em ti julgamentos, e espalharei a todos os ventos todos os teus sobreviventes.
11 Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable idols and abominations, I Myself will withdraw My favor; I will not look upon you with pity, nor will I spare you.
Portanto, vivo eu, diz o Senhor DEUS, (por teres profanado meu santuário com todas as tuas coisas detestáveis, e com todas as tuas abominações), que certamente eu também te quebrantarei; meu olho não perdoará, nem terei eu misericórdia.
12 A third of your people will die by plague or be consumed by famine within you, a third will fall by the sword outside your walls, and a third I will scatter to every wind and unleash a sword behind them.
A terceira parte de ti morrerá de pestilência, e será consumida de fome no meio de ti; a [outra] terceira parte cairá à espada ao redor de ti; e [outra] terceira parte espalharei a todos os ventos, e atrás deles desembainharei a espada.
13 And when My anger is spent and I have vented My wrath against them, I will be appeased. And when I have spent My wrath on them, they will know that I, the LORD, in My zeal have spoken.
Assim se cumprirá minha ira, e farei repousar meu furor neles, e me consolarei; e saberão que eu, o SENHOR, tenho falado em meu zelo, quando tiver cumprido meu furor neles.
14 I will make you a ruin and a disgrace among the nations around you, in the sight of all who pass by.
E te tonarei em desolação e em humilhação entre as nações que estão ao redor de ti, diante dos olhos de todos os que passarem por perto.
15 So you will be a reproach and a taunt, a warning and a horror to the nations around you, when I execute judgments against you in anger, wrath, and raging fury. I, the LORD, have spoken.
E a humilhação e a infâmia servirão de lição e espanto às nações que estão ao redor de ti, quando eu executar em ti julgamentos com ira e com furor, e com enfurecidos castigos. Eu, o SENHOR, falei.
16 When I shower you with the deadly arrows of famine and destruction that I will send to destroy you, I will intensify the famine against you and cut off your supply of food.
Quando eu enviar contra eles as más flechas da fome, que servirão para destruição, as quais eu mandarei para vos destruir, então aumentarei a fome sobre vós, e destruirei vosso sustento de pão.
17 I will send famine and wild beasts against you, and they will leave you childless. Plague and bloodshed will sweep through you, and I will bring a sword against you. I, the LORD, have spoken.”
E enviarei sobre vós a fome, e animais ruins, que vos deixarão sem filhos; e a pestilência e o sangue passarão por ti; e trarei a espada sobre ti. Eu, o SENHOR, falei.
