< Ezekiel 43 >
1 Then the man brought me back to the gate that faces east,
Na ɔbarima no de me baa apueeɛ fam ɛpono no ano,
2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of many waters, and the earth shone with His glory.
na mehunuu Israel Onyankopɔn animuonyam sɛ apue wɔ apueeɛ fam reba. Na ne nne te sɛ nsusenee nworosoɔ ano den, na asase no so hyerɛnee wɔ nʼanimuonyam no mu.
3 The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when He came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the River Kebar. I fell facedown,
Anisoadehunu a menyaeɛ no te sɛ deɛ menyaa no ɛberɛ a ɔba bɛsɛee kuropɔn no ne deɛ menyaa wɔ Asubɔnten Kebar ho no, na mede mʼanim butuu fam.
4 and the glory of the LORD entered the temple through the gate facing east.
Awurade animuonyam faa ɛpono a ani kyerɛ apueeɛ fam no mu hyɛnee asɔredan no mu.
5 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.
Na honhom no pagyaa me de me baa mfimfini adihɔ hɔ na Awurade animuonyam hyɛɛ asɔredan no ma.
6 While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from inside the temple,
Ɛberɛ a ɔbarima no gyina me ho no, metee sɛ obi rekasa firi asɔredan no mu kyerɛ me.
7 and He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place for the soles of My feet, where I will dwell among the Israelites forever. The house of Israel will never again defile My holy name—neither they nor their kings—by their prostitution and by the funeral offerings for their kings at their deaths.
Ɔkaa sɛ, “Onipa ba, ɛha ne mʼahennwa siberɛ ne me nan ntiasoɔ. Ɛha na mɛtena wɔ Israelfoɔ mu afebɔɔ. Israel efie rengu me din ho fi bio da; wɔn anaa wɔn ahemfo remfa wɔn adwamammɔ ne ahemfo no ahoni a nkwa nni mu a wɔwɔ wɔn sorɔnsorɔmmea no rengu me din ho fi.
8 When they placed their threshold next to My threshold and their doorposts beside My doorposts, with only a wall between Me and them, they defiled My holy name by the abominations they committed. Therefore I have consumed them in My anger.
Ɛberɛ a wɔmaa wɔn aboboano bɛnee me deɛ, na wɔn aponnwa nso bɛnee me deɛ a na ɔfasuo na ɛtwa yɛn ntam no, wɔde wɔn akyiwadeɛ guu me din kronkron ho fi. Ɛno enti mesɛee wɔn wɔ mʼabufuo mu.
9 Now let them remove far from Me their prostitution and the funeral offerings for their kings, and I will dwell among them forever.
Afei ma wɔnyi wɔn adwamammɔ ne ahemfo no ahoni a wɔnni nkwa no mfiri mʼani so, na mɛtena wɔn mu afebɔɔ.
10 As for you, son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, so that they may be ashamed of their iniquities. Let them measure the plan,
“Onipa ba, kyerɛkyerɛ Israelfoɔ sɛdeɛ asɔredan no teɛ na wɔn ani nwu wɔ wɔn bɔne ho. Ma wɔnsusu ne sie mfoni ho,
11 and if they are ashamed of all they have done, then make known to them the design of the temple—its arrangement and its exits and entrances—its whole design along with all its statutes, forms, and laws. Write it down in their sight, so that they may keep its complete design and all its statutes and may carry them out.
na sɛ wɔn ani wu deɛ wɔayɛ ho a, twa asɔredan no mfoni kyerɛ wɔn; ne ntotoeɛ, apono a wɔfa mu pue ne deɛ wɔfa kɔ mu, ne mfoni nyinaa, ne ɛho akwankyerɛ nyinaa ne mmara. Twerɛ saa nneɛma yi wɔ wɔn anim na wɔadi me ntotoeɛ ne ne sie no mfoni no so.
12 This is the law of the temple: All its surrounding territory on top of the mountain will be most holy. Yes, this is the law of the temple.
“Asɔredan no ho mmara nie: Asase a ɛda ho wɔ bepɔ no so nyinaa yɛ kronkron. Sei na asɔredan no ho mmara teɛ.
13 These are the measurements of the altar in long cubits (a cubit and a handbreadth): Its gutter shall be a cubit deep and a cubit wide, with a rim of one span around its edge. And this is the height of the altar:
“Afɔrebukyia no nsusuiɛ na ɛdidi soɔ yi. Ne nsuka mu dɔ yɛ anammɔn ne fa na ne tɛtrɛtɛ nso saa ara, na anoano hini a ɛtwa ho hyia no nso tɛtrɛtɛ bɛyɛ nsateakwaa nkron. Na yei nso ne afɔrebukyia no tentene:
14 The space from the gutter on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the ledge one cubit wide. The space from the smaller ledge to the larger ledge shall be four cubits, and the ledge one cubit wide.
Ɛfiri ne nnyinasoɔ a ɛsi nsuka no so kɔ ne soro yɛ anammɔn mmiɛnsa, na ne pipiripie nso yɛ ɔnamɔn ne fa, na apa ketewa no ne apa kɛseɛ no ntam yɛ anammɔn nsia, na apa no pipiripie nso yɛ ɔnamɔn ne fa.
15 The altar hearth shall be four cubits high, and four horns shall project upward from the hearth.
Afɔrebukyia no wisie tokuro no ɔsorokɔ yɛ anammɔn nsia na mmɛn ɛnan a ano hwɛ soro tuatua ho.
16 The altar hearth shall be square at its four corners, twelve cubits long and twelve cubits wide.
Afɔrebukyia wisie tokuro no yɛ ahinanan, na ɛfa biara yɛ anammɔn dunwɔtwe.
17 The ledge shall also be square, fourteen cubits long and fourteen cubits wide, with a rim of half a cubit and a gutter of a cubit all around it. The steps of the altar shall face east.”
Afɔrebukyia no apa a ɛwɔ soro no nso yɛ ahinanan a afanan no mu biara yɛ anammɔn aduonu baako, na kawa a ɛyɛ nsateakwaa nkron da apa no ano na nsuka a atwa ho ahyia yɛ ɔnamɔn ne fa. Atwedeɛ a ɛkɔ afɔrebukyia no so no ani hwɛ apueeɛ fam.”
18 Then He said to me: “Son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘These are the statutes for the altar on the day it is constructed, so that burnt offerings may be sacrificed on it and blood may be sprinkled on it:
Ɔka kyerɛɛ me sɛ, “Onipa ba, yei ne deɛ Otumfoɔ Awurade seɛ: Yeinom na ɛbɛyɛ nhyehyɛeɛ a wɔbɛfa so abɔ ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ ne ɛkwan a, sɛ wɔsi afɔrebukyia no wie a wɔbɛfa so de mogya apete ho:
19 You are to give a young bull from the herd as a sin offering to the Levitical priests who are of the family of Zadok, who approach Me to minister before Me, declares the Lord GOD.
Ɛsɛ sɛ wode nantwie ba ma asɔfoɔ a wɔyɛ Lewifoɔ na wɔfiri Sadok abusua mu na wɔba mʼanim bɛsom me no, sɛ bɔne afɔrebɔdeɛ, Otumfoɔ Awurade asɛm nie.
20 You are to take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar, on the four corners of the ledge, and all around the rim; thus you will cleanse the altar and make atonement for it.
Ɛsɛ sɛ wofa nantwie ba no mogya no bi na wode keka afɔrebukyia mmɛn ɛnan no ho. Wode bi bɛkeka apa a ɛwɔ soro no ntwɛtwɛaso ne anoano kawa a atwa ho ahyia no ho na wɔnam so ate afɔrebukyia no ho de ayɛ mpata nso.
21 Then you are to take away the bull for the sin offering and burn it in the appointed part of the temple area outside the sanctuary.
Ɛsɛ sɛ wofa bɔne afɔrebɔdeɛ nantwie no na wokɔhye no wɔ asɔredan no ho beaeɛ a wɔayi ato hɔ, wɔ kronkronbea no akyi.
22 On the second day you are to present an unblemished male goat as a sin offering, and the altar is to be cleansed as it was with the bull.
“Ɛda a ɛtɔ so mmienu no, ɛsɛ sɛ wode ɔpapo a ɔnni dɛm ma sɛ bɔne afɔrebɔdeɛ, na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔdwira afɔrebukyia no ho sɛdeɛ wɔde nantwie no yɛeɛ no.
23 When you have finished the purification, you are to present a young, unblemished bull and an unblemished ram from the flock.
Sɛ wowie ɛho dwira a, ɛsɛ sɛ wode nantwie ba ne nnwennini a wɔfiri ebuo no mu a wɔnni dɛm bɛbɔ afɔdeɛ.
24 You must present them before the LORD; the priests are to sprinkle salt on them and sacrifice them as a burnt offering to the LORD.
Ɛsɛ sɛ wode wɔn ba Awurade anim, na asɔfoɔ de nkyene pete wɔn so na wɔde bɔ ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ ma Awurade.
25 For seven days you are to provide a male goat daily for a sin offering; you are also to provide a young bull and a ram from the flock, both unblemished.
“Ɛsɛ sɛ wode ɔpapo ba sɛ bɔne afɔrebɔdeɛ nnanson. Afei ɛsɛ sɛ wode nantwie ba ne nnwennini a wɔfiri ebuo mu na wɔnni dɛm nso ba.
26 For seven days the priests are to make atonement for the altar and cleanse it; so they shall consecrate it.
Wɔbɛyɛ mpatadeɛ ama afɔrebukyia no nnanson de ate ho; sei na wɔbɛyɛ de asi hɔ ama dwumadie.
27 At the end of these days, from the eighth day on, the priests are to present your burnt offerings and peace offerings on the altar. Then I will accept you, declares the Lord GOD.’”
Saa nna yi akyi, ɛfiri ɛda a ɛtɔ so nnwɔtwe de rekorɔ no, ɛsɛ sɛ asɔfoɔ no de mo ɔhyeɛ afɔrebɔdeɛ ne asomdwoeɛ afɔrebɔdeɛ no ba afɔrebukyia no so. Afei mɛgye mo atom, Otumfoɔ Awurade asɛm nie.”
