Ezekiel 37
1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and He brought me out by His Spirit and set me down in the middle of the valley, and it was full of bones.
La mano de Yahvé estaba sobre mí, y me sacó en el Espíritu de Yahvé, y me puso en medio del valle, que estaba lleno de huesos.
2 He led me all around among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, and indeed, they were very dry.
Me hizo pasar por todos ellos, y he aquí que había muchos en el valle abierto, y he aquí que estaban muy secos.
3 Then He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones come to life?” “O Lord GOD,” I replied, “only You know.”
Me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, ¿pueden vivir estos huesos?” Respondí: “Señor Yahvé, tú lo sabes”.
4 And He said to me, “Prophesy concerning these bones and tell them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!
Volvió a decirme: “Profetiza sobre estos huesos y diles: “Huesos secos, escuchad la palabra de Yahvé.
5 This is what the Lord GOD says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will come to life.
El Señor Yahvé dice a estos huesos: “He aquí que haré que entre en ustedes el aliento, y vivirán.
6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh grow upon you and cover you with skin. I will put breath within you so that you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”
Pondré tendones sobre ustedes, y haré surgir carne sobre ustedes, y los cubriré con piel, y pondré aliento en ustedes, y vivirán. Entonces sabrás que yo soy Yahvé”.
7 So I prophesied as I had been commanded. And as I prophesied, there was suddenly a noise, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
Así que profeticé como se me había ordenado. Mientras profetizaba, se oyó un ruido, y he aquí que hubo un terremoto. Entonces los huesos se juntaron, hueso con hueso.
8 As I looked on, tendons appeared on them, flesh grew, and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them.
Vi, y he aquí que había tendones en ellos, y la carne subía, y la piel los cubría por encima; pero no había aliento en ellos.
9 Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and tell the breath that this is what the Lord GOD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, so that they may live!”
Entonces me dijo: “Profetiza al viento, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y dile al viento: “El Señor Yahvé dice: “Ven de los cuatro vientos, sopla, y sopla sobre estos muertos, para que vivan””.
10 So I prophesied as He had commanded me, and the breath entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet—a vast army.
Así que profeticé como él me ordenó, y el aliento entró en ellos, y vivieron, y se pusieron de pie, un ejército extremadamente grande.
11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Look, they are saying, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished; we are cut off.’
Entonces me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, estos huesos son toda la casa de Israel. He aquí que dicen: ‘Nuestros huesos se han secado, y nuestra esperanza se ha perdido. Estamos completamente desahuciados’.
12 Therefore prophesy and tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘O My people, I will open your graves and bring you up from them, and I will bring you back to the land of Israel.
Por tanto, profetiza y diles: “El Señor Yahvé dice: “He aquí que yo abriré vuestros sepulcros y os haré salir de vuestras tumbas, pueblo mío, y os haré entrar en la tierra de Israel.
13 Then you, My people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.
Ustedes sabrán que yo soy el Señor, cuando abra sus tumbas y los haga salir de sus tumbas, pueblo mío.
14 I will put My Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it, declares the LORD.’”
Pondré mi Espíritu en ustedes, y vivirán. Entonces os pondré en vuestra tierra; y sabréis que yo, Yahvé, lo he dicho y lo he hecho”, dice Yahvé”.
15 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
La palabra de Yahvé vino de nuevo a mí, diciendo:
16 “And you, son of man, take a single stick and write on it: ‘Belonging to Judah and to the Israelites associated with him.’ Then take another stick and write on it: ‘Belonging to Joseph—the stick of Ephraim—and to all the house of Israel associated with him.’
“Tú, hijo de hombre, toma un palo y escribe en él: ‘Para Judá, y para los hijos de Israel sus compañeros’. Luego toma otro palo y escribe en él: ‘Para José, el palo de Efraín, y para toda la casa de Israel sus compañeros’.
17 Then join them together into one stick, so that they become one in your hand.
Luego júntalos para ti en un solo palo, para que sean uno solo en tu mano.
18 When your people ask you, ‘Won’t you explain to us what you mean by these?’
“Cuando los hijos de tu pueblo te hablen diciendo: “¿No nos mostrarás lo que quieres decir con esto?”
19 you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I will put them together with the stick of Judah. I will make them into a single stick, and they will become one in My hand.’
Diles: “El Señor Yahvé dice: “He aquí que yo tomaré el bastón de José, que está en la mano de Efraín, y las tribus de Israel sus compañeras; y los pondré con él, con el bastón de Judá, y los haré un solo bastón, y serán uno en mi mano.
20 When the sticks on which you write are in your hand and in full view of the people,
Los palos en los que escribas estarán en tu mano ante sus ojos”.
21 you are to tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will take the Israelites out of the nations to which they have gone, and I will gather them from all around and bring them into their own land.
Diles: El Señor Yahvé dice: “He aquí que yo tomaré a los hijos de Israel de entre las naciones a las que han ido, los reuniré por todas partes y los traeré a su propia tierra.
22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over all of them. Then they will no longer be two nations and will never again be divided into two kingdoms.
Haré de ellos una sola nación en la tierra, en los montes de Israel. Un solo rey será el rey de todos ellos. Ya no serán dos naciones. Ya no estarán divididos en dos reinos.
23 They will no longer defile themselves with their idols or detestable images, or with any of their transgressions. I will save them from all their apostasies by which they sinned, and I will cleanse them. Then they will be My people, and I will be their God.
No se contaminarán más con sus ídolos, ni con sus cosas detestables, ni con ninguna de sus transgresiones; sino que los salvaré de todas sus moradas en las que han pecado, y los limpiaré. Así serán mi pueblo, y yo seré su Dios.
24 My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My ordinances and keep and observe My statutes.
“‘“Mi siervo David será rey sobre ellos. Todos ellos tendrán un solo pastor. También caminarán en mis ordenanzas y observarán mis estatutos, y los pondrán en práctica.
25 They will live in the land that I gave to My servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They will live there forever with their children and grandchildren, and My servant David will be their prince forever.
Habitarán en la tierra que he dado a mi siervo Jacob, en la que vivieron vuestros padres. Habitarán en ella, ellos, sus hijos y los hijos de sus hijos, para siempre. Mi siervo David será su príncipe para siempre.
26 And I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant. I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary among them forever.
Además, haré un pacto de paz con ellos. Será un pacto eterno con ellos. Los colocaré, los multiplicaré y pondré mi santuario entre ellos para siempre.
27 My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be My people.
Mi tienda también estará con ellos. Yo seré su Dios, y ellos serán mi pueblo.
28 Then the nations will know that I the LORD sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is among them forever.’”
Las naciones sabrán que yo soy el Señor que santifica a Israel, cuando mi santuario esté entre ellos para siempre”.
