Ezekiel 26
1 In the eleventh month of the twelfth year, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Und es begab sich im elften Jahr, am ersten Tage des ersten Monats, geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach:
2 “Son of man, because Tyre has said of Jerusalem, ‘Aha! The gate to the nations is broken; it has swung open to me; now that she lies in ruins I will be filled,’
Du Menschenkind, darum daß Tyrus spricht über Jerusalem: “Ha! die Pforte der Völker ist zerbrochen; es ist zu mir gewandt; ich werde nun voll werden, weil sie wüst ist!”,
3 therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, O Tyre, I am against you, and I will raise up many nations against you, as the sea brings up its waves.
darum spricht der Herr HERR also: Siehe, ich will an dich, Tyrus, und will viele Heiden über dich heraufbringen, gleich wie sich ein Meer erhebt mit seinen Wellen.
4 They will destroy the walls of Tyre and demolish her towers. I will scrape the soil from her and make her a bare rock.
Die sollen die Mauern zu Tyrus verderben und ihre Türme abbrechen; ja ich will auch ihren Staub von ihr wegfegen und will einen bloßen Fels aus ihr machen
5 She will become a place to spread nets in the sea, for I have spoken, declares the Lord GOD. She will become plunder for the nations,
und einen Ort am Meer, darauf man die Fischgarne aufspannt; denn ich habe es geredet, spricht der Herr HERR, und sie soll den Heiden zum Raub werden.
6 and the villages on her mainland will be slain by the sword. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’
Und ihre Töchter, so auf dem Felde liegen, sollen durchs Schwert erwürgt werden und sollen erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.
7 For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I will bring against Tyre from the north Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses and chariots, with cavalry and a great company of troops.
Denn so spricht der Herr HERR: Siehe, ich will über Tyrus kommen lassen Nebukadnezar, den König zu Babel, von Mitternacht her, der ein König aller Könige ist, mit Rossen, Wagen, Reitern und mit großem Haufen Volks.
8 He will slaughter the villages of your mainland with the sword; he will set up siege works against you, build a ramp to your walls, and raise his shields against you.
Der soll deine Töchter, so auf dem Felde liegen, mit dem Schwert erwürgen; aber wider dich wird er Bollwerke aufschlagen und einen Wall aufschütten und Schilde wider dich rüsten.
9 He will direct the blows of his battering rams against your walls and tear down your towers with his axes.
Er wird mit Sturmböcken deine Mauern zerstoßen und deine Türme mit seinen Werkzeugen umreißen.
10 His multitude of horses will cover you in their dust. When he enters your gates as an army entering a breached city, your walls will shake from the noise of cavalry, wagons, and chariots.
Der Staub von der Menge seiner Pferde wird dich bedecken; so werden auch deine Mauern erbeben vor dem Getümmel seiner Rosse, Räder und Reiter, wenn er zu deinen Toren einziehen wird, wie man pflegt in eine zerrissene Stadt einzuziehen.
11 The hooves of his horses will trample all your streets. He will slaughter your people with the sword, and your mighty pillars will fall to the ground.
Er wird mit den Füßen seiner Rosse alle deine Gassen zertreten. Dein Volk wird er mit dem Schwert erwürgen und deine starken Säulen zu Boden reißen.
12 They will plunder your wealth and pillage your merchandise. They will demolish your walls, tear down your beautiful homes, and throw your stones and timber and soil into the water.
Sie werden dein Gut rauben und deinen Handel plündern. Deine Mauern werden sie abbrechen und deine feinen Häuser umreißen und werden deine Steine, Holz und Staub ins Wasser werfen.
13 So I will silence the sound of your songs, and the music of your lyres will no longer be heard.
Also will ich mit Getön deines Gesanges ein Ende machen, daß man den Klang deiner Harfen nicht mehr hören soll.
14 I will make you a bare rock, and you will become a place to spread the fishing nets. You will never be rebuilt, for I, the LORD, have spoken, declares the Lord GOD.’
Und ich will einen bloßen Fels aus dir machen und einen Ort, darauf man Fischgarne aufspannt, daß du nicht mehr gebaut wirst; denn ich bin der HERR, der solches redet, spricht der Herr HERR.
15 This is what the Lord GOD says to Tyre: ‘Will not the coastlands quake at the sound of your downfall, when the wounded groan at the slaughter in your midst?
So spricht der Herr HERR wider Tyrus: was gilt's? die Inseln werden erbeben, wenn du so greulich zerfallen wirst und deine Verwundeten seufzen werden, so in dir sollen ermordet werden.
16 All the princes of the sea will descend from their thrones, remove their robes, and strip off their embroidered garments. Clothed with terror, they will sit on the ground, trembling every moment, appalled over you.
Alle Fürsten am Meer werden herab von ihren Stühlen steigen und ihre Röcke von sich tun und ihre gestickten Kleider ausziehen und werden in Trauerkleidern gehen und auf der Erde sitzen und werden erschrecken und sich entsetzen über deinen plötzlichen Fall.
17 Then they will lament for you, saying, “How you have perished, O city of renown inhabited by seafaring men— she who was powerful on the sea, along with her people, who imposed terror on all peoples!
Sie werden über dich wehklagen und von dir sagen: Ach, wie bist du so gar wüst geworden, du berühmte Stadt, die du am Meer lagst und so mächtig warst auf dem Meer samt deinen Einwohnern, daß sich das ganze Land vor dir fürchten mußte!
18 Now the coastlands tremble on the day of your downfall; the islands in the sea are dismayed by your demise.”’
Ach, wie entsetzen sich die Inseln über deinen Fall! ja die Inseln im Meer erschrecken über deinen Untergang.
19 For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘When I make you a desolate city like other deserted cities, and when I raise up the deep against you so that the mighty waters cover you,
Denn so spricht der Herr HERR: Ich will dich zu einer wüsten Stadt machen wie andere Städte, darin niemand wohnt, und eine große Flut über dich kommen lassen, daß dich große Wasser bedecken,
20 then I will bring you down with those who descend to the Pit, to the people of antiquity. I will make you dwell in the earth below like the ancient ruins, with those who descend to the Pit, so that you will no longer be inhabited or set in splendor in the land of the living.
und will dich hinunterstoßen zu denen, die in die Grube gefahren sind, zu dem Volk der Toten. Ich will dich unter die Erde hinabstoßen in die ewigen Wüsten zu denen, die in die Grube gefahren sind, auf daß niemand in dir wohne. Ich will dich, du Prächtige im Lande der Lebendigen,
21 I will make you an object of horror, and you will be no more. You will be sought, but will never be found,’ declares the Lord GOD.”
ja, zum Schrecken will ich dich machen, daß du nichts mehr seist; und wenn man nach dir fragt, daß man dich ewiglich nimmer finden könne, spricht der Herr HERR.
