Ezekiel 25

1 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

E veiu a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

2 “Son of man, set your face against the Ammonites and prophesy against them.

Filho do homem, dirige o teu rosto contra os filhos de Ammon, e prophetiza contra elles.

3 Tell the Ammonites to hear the word of the Lord GOD, for this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you exclaimed, “Aha!” when My sanctuary was profaned, when the land of Israel was laid waste, and when the house of Judah went into exile,

E dize aos filhos de Ammon: Ouvi a palavra do Senhor Jehovah: Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto tu disseste: Ha! ha! ácerca do meu sanctuario, quando foi profanado; e ácerca da terra de Israel, quando foi assolada; e ácerca da casa de Judah, quando foram no captiveiro;

4 therefore I will indeed give you as a possession to the people of the East. They will set up their camps and pitch their tents among you. They will eat your fruit and drink your milk.

Portanto, eis que te entregarei em possessão aos do oriente, e estabelecerão os seus paços em ti, e porão em ti as suas moradas; elles comerão os teus fructos, e elles beberão o teu leite

5 I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels, and Ammon a resting place for sheep. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’

E farei de Rabba uma estrebaria de camelos, e dos filhos de Ammon um curral de ovelhas: e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.

6 For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you clapped your hands and stomped your feet and rejoiced over the land of Israel with a heart full of contempt,

Porque assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto bateste com as mãos, e pateaste com os pés, e te alegraste de coração em todo o teu despojo sobre a terra d'Israel,

7 therefore I will indeed stretch out My hand against you and give you as plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples and exterminate you from the countries. I will destroy you, and you will know that I am the LORD.’

Portanto, eis que eu estenderei a minha mão contra ti, e te darei por despojo ás nações, e te arrancarei d'entre os povos, e te destruirei d'entre as terras, e te acabarei de todo; e saberás que eu sou o Senhor.

8 This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because Moab and Seir said, “Look, the house of Judah is like all the other nations,”

Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto dizem Moab e Seir: Eis que a casa de Judah é como todas as nações;

9 therefore I will indeed expose the flank of Moab beginning with its frontier cities—Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim—the glory of the land.

Portanto, eis que eu abrirei o lado de Moab desde as cidades, desde as suas cidades fóra das fronteiras, a gloria da terra, Beth-jesimoth, Baal-meon, e até Kiriathaim.

10 I will give it along with the Ammonites as a possession to the people of the East, so that the Ammonites will no longer be remembered among the nations.

Para os do oriente, com a terra dos filhos de Ammon, a qual entregarei em possessão, para que não haja memoria dos filhos de Ammon entre as nações.

11 So I will execute judgments on Moab, and they will know that I am the LORD.’

Tambem executarei juizos em Moab, e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.

12 This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because Edom acted vengefully against the house of Judah, and in so doing incurred grievous guilt,

Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto Edom se houve vingativamente para com a casa de Judah, e se fizeram culpadissimos, quando se vingaram d'elles;

13 therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: I will stretch out My hand against Edom and cut off from it both man and beast. I will make it a wasteland, and from Teman to Dedan they will fall by the sword.

Portanto assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Tambem estenderei a minha mão contra Edom, e arrancarei d'ella homens e animaes; e a tornarei em deserto desde Teman, e até Dedan cairão á espada.

14 I will take My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel, and they will deal with Edom according to My anger and wrath. Then they will know My vengeance, declares the Lord GOD.’

E exercitarei a minha vingança sobre Edom, pela mão do meu povo de Israel; e farão em Edom segundo a minha ira e segundo o meu furor; e conhecerão a minha vingança, diz o Senhor Jehovah.

15 This is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because the Philistines acted in vengeance, taking vengeance with malice of soul to destroy Judah with ancient hostility,

Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto os philisteos usaram de vingança, e executaram vingança de coração com despojo, para destruirem com perpetua inimizade,

16 therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites and destroy the remnant along the coast.

Portanto assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu estendo a minha mão contra os philisteos, e arrancarei os cheretheos, e destruirei o resto do porto do mar.

17 I will execute great vengeance against them with furious reproof. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I lay My vengeance upon them.’”

E executarei n'elles grandes vinganças, com castigos de furor, e saberão que eu sou o Senhor, quando eu tiver exercido a minha vingança sobre elles.
