< Ezekiel 22 >
1 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ mí wá:
2 “As for you, son of man, will you judge her? Will you pass judgment on the city of bloodshed? Then confront her with all her abominations
“Ọmọ ènìyàn ǹjẹ́ ìwọ yóò ha ṣe ìdájọ́ rẹ̀? Ǹjẹ́ ìwọ ha ṣe ìdájọ́ ìlú atàjẹ̀sílẹ̀? Tó bá rí bẹ́ẹ̀ dojúkọ wọn pẹ̀lú gbogbo ìwà ìríra wọn.
3 and tell her that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘O city who brings her own doom by shedding blood within her walls and making idols to defile herself,
Kí ó sì wí pé, ‘Èyí yìí ní ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Ìwọ ìlú ńlá tí ó mú ìparun wá sórí ara rẹ nípa títàjẹ̀sílẹ̀ ní àárín rẹ, tí ó sì ba ara rẹ̀ jẹ́ nípa ṣíṣe àwọn ère.
4 you are guilty of the blood you have shed, and you are defiled by the idols you have made. You have brought your days to a close and have come to the end of your years. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations and a mockery to all the lands.
Ìwọ ti jẹ̀bi nítorí ẹ̀jẹ̀ tí ìwọ ti ta sílẹ̀, àti pé àwọn ère tí ó ṣe tí bà ọ́ jẹ́. Ìwọ tí mú ọjọ́ rẹ súnmọ́ tòsí, ìparí àwọn ọdún rẹ sì ti dé. Nítorí náà èmi yóò fi ọ ṣe ohun ẹ̀gàn lójú àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè àti ohun ẹ̀sín lójú gbogbo ìlú.
5 Those near and far will mock you, O infamous city, full of turmoil.
Àwọn tí ó wà ní tòsí àti àwọn tí ó jìnnà sí ọ, yóò fi ọ ṣe ẹlẹ́yà, ìwọ ìlú ẹlẹ́gàn, tí ó kún fún làálàá.
6 See how every prince of Israel within you has used his power to shed blood.
“‘Wo bí ọ̀kọ̀ọ̀kan nínú àwọn ọmọbìnrin ọba Israẹli tí ó wà nínú yín ti ń lo agbára rẹ̀ láti tàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀.
7 Father and mother are treated with contempt. Within your walls the foreign resident is exploited, the fatherless and the widow are oppressed.
Nínú rẹ wọn ti hùwà sí baba àti ìyá pẹ̀lú ìfojú tínrín; nínú rẹ wọn ti ni àwọn àlejò lára, wọn sì hùwàkiwà sí aláìní baba àti opó.
8 You have despised My holy things and profaned My Sabbaths.
Ìwọ tí kọ àwọn ohun mímọ́ mi sílẹ̀, ìwọ sì ti lo ọjọ́ ìsinmi mi ní ìlòkulò.
9 Among you are slanderous men bent on bloodshed; within you are those who eat on the mountain shrines and commit acts of indecency.
Nínú rẹ ni àwọn ayannijẹ ènìyàn pinnu láti tàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀; nínú rẹ ní àwọn tí ó ń jẹun ní orí òkè ojúbọ òrìṣà, wọn sì hùwà ìfẹ́kúfẹ̀ẹ́.
10 In you they have uncovered the nakedness of their fathers; in you they violate women during their menstrual impurity.
Nínú rẹ ní àwọn ti kò bu ọlá fún àwọn àkéte baba wọn; nínú rẹ ni àwọn tí o ń bá àwọn obìnrin lò nígbà tí wọ́n ń ṣe àkókò lọ́wọ́, ní àsìkò tí a ka wọn sì aláìmọ́.
11 One man commits an abomination with his neighbor’s wife; another wickedly defiles his daughter-in-law; and yet another violates his sister, his own father’s daughter.
Nínú rẹ ọkùnrin kan ti dá ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ìríra pẹ̀lú aya aládùúgbò rẹ̀, òmíràn bá ìyàwó ọmọ rẹ̀ jẹ́, òmíràn sì bá arábìnrin rẹ̀ lòpọ̀ èyí tí í ṣe ọbàkan rẹ̀.
12 In you they take bribes to shed blood. You engage in usury, take excess interest, and extort your neighbors. But Me you have forgotten, declares the Lord GOD.
Nínú rẹ àwọn ènìyàn gba àbẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ láti tàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀; ìwọ gba èlé ìlọ́po láti mú aláìṣòótọ́ jèrè láti ara aládùúgbò rẹ nípa ìrẹ́jẹ. Ìwọ sì ti gbàgbé èmi; ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí.
13 Now look, I strike My hands together against your unjust gain and against the blood you have shed in your midst.
“‘Èmi yóò kúkú pàtẹ́wọ́ lórí èrè àìmọ̀ tí ìwọ ti jẹ, àti lórí ẹ̀jẹ̀ tí ìwọ ti ta sílẹ̀ ní àárín yín.
14 Will your courage endure or your hands be strong in the day I deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will act.
Ọkàn rẹ le gbà á, tàbí ọwọ́ rẹ lè le, ní ọjọ́ tí èmi yóò bá ọ ṣé? Èmi Olúwa ti sọ̀rọ̀, Èmi yóò sì ṣe é.
15 I will disperse you among the nations and scatter you throughout the lands; I will purge your uncleanness.
Èmi yóò tú yin ká ní àárín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, èmi yóò fọ́n ọ ká sí àwọn ìlú; èmi yóò sì fi òpin sí àìmọ́ rẹ.
16 And when you have defiled yourself in the eyes of the nations, then you will know that I am the LORD.’”
Nígbà tí a ó bà ọ́ jẹ́ lójú àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, ìwọ yóò mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa.’”
17 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Nígbà náà ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ mí wá:
18 “Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to Me. All of them are copper, tin, iron, and lead inside the furnace; they are but the dross of silver.
“Ọmọ ènìyàn, ilé Israẹli ti di ìdàrọ́ sí mi; gbogbo wọn jẹ́ bàbà, idẹ, irin àti òjé ti a fi sínú iná ìléru. Wọn jẹ́ ìdàrọ́ ti fàdákà.
19 Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Because all of you have become dross, behold, I will gather you into Jerusalem.
Nítorí náà èyí yìí ni ohun ti Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: ‘Nítorí tí ìwọ ti di ìdàrọ́, èmi yóò kó yín jọ sí Jerusalẹmu.
20 Just as one gathers silver, copper, iron, lead, and tin into the furnace to melt with a fiery blast, so I will gather you in My anger and wrath, leave you there, and melt you.
Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ènìyàn ṣe ń kó fàdákà, bàbà, irin, òjé àti idẹ jọ sínú iná ìléru láti fi iná yọ́ ọ, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni èmi yóò kó ọ jọ ní ìbínú àti ìrunú mi, èmi yóò sì fi ọ sì àárín ìlú, èmi yóò sì yọ́ ọ. Níbẹ̀ ní ìwọ yóò sì ti yọ́.
21 Yes, I will gather you together and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you will be melted within the city.
Èmi yóò kó yín jọ, èmi o sì fín iná ìbínú mi si yin lára, ẹ o si di yíyọ́ láàrín rẹ̀.
22 As silver is melted in a furnace, so you will be melted within the city. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have poured out My wrath upon you.’”
Bí a ti ń yọ́ fàdákà nínú iná ìléru bẹ́ẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ ní ìwọ yóò ṣe yọ́ nínú rẹ̀, ìwọ yóò sì mọ̀ wí pé, Èmi Olúwa ti tú ìbínú mi sórí rẹ.’”
23 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Lẹ́ẹ̀kan sí i ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ mí wá wí pé,
24 “Son of man, say to her, ‘In the day of indignation, you are a land that has not been cleansed, upon which no rain has fallen.’
“Ọmọ ènìyàn, sọ fún ilẹ̀ náà, ‘Ìwọ ní ilẹ̀ tí kò gbá mọ́, ti kò sì rọ òjò tàbí ìrì ní àkókò ìbínú.’
25 The conspiracy of the princes in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing its prey. They devour the people, seize the treasures and precious things, and multiply the widows within her.
Ìdìtẹ̀ sì wà láàrín àwọn ọmọ-aládé inú rẹ̀, tó dàbí bíbú kìnnìún tó ń fà ẹran ya, wọ́n ń ba àwọn ènìyàn jẹ́, wọ́n ń kó ìṣúra àti àwọn ohun iyebíye wọ́n sì ń sọ púpọ̀ di opó nínú rẹ̀.
26 Her priests do violence to My law and profane My holy things. They make no distinction between the holy and the common, and they fail to distinguish between the clean and the unclean. They disregard My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.
Àwọn àlùfáà rẹ̀ ti rú òfin mi, wọn si ti sọ ohun mímọ́ mi di àìlọ́wọ̀: wọn kò fi ìyàtọ̀ sáàrín ohun mímọ́ àti àìlọ́wọ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni wọn kò fi ìyàtọ̀ hàn láàrín ohun àìmọ́, àti mímọ́, wọn sì ti fi ojú wọn pamọ́ kúrò ní ọjọ́ ìsinmi mi, mó sì dí ẹni àìlọ́wọ̀ láàrín wọn.
27 Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey, shedding blood, and destroying lives for dishonest gain.
Àwọn ọmọ-aládé àárín rẹ̀ dàbí ìkookò ti ń ṣọdẹ, láti tàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀, láti pa ọkàn run, láti jèrè àìṣòótọ́.
28 Her prophets whitewash these deeds by false visions and lying divinations, saying, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says,’ when the LORD has not spoken.
Àti àwọn wòlíì rẹ́ ti ṣẹ̀tàn sí wọn, wọn ń rì ìran asán, wọn sì ń fọ àfọ̀ṣẹ èké sí wọn, wí pé, ‘Báyìí ní Olúwa Olódùmarè wí,’ nígbà tí ó ṣépè Olúwa kò sọ̀rọ̀.
29 The people of the land have practiced extortion and committed robbery. They have oppressed the poor and needy and have exploited the foreign resident without justice.
Àwọn ènìyàn ilẹ̀ náà, tí lo ìwà ìninilára, wọn sì já olè, wọn sì ni àwọn tálákà àti aláìní lára; nítòótọ́, wọn tí ní àlejò lára láìnídìí. Kò sì ṣí ìdájọ́ òdodo.
30 I searched for a man among them to repair the wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, so that I should not destroy it. But I found no one.
“Èmi si wá ẹnìkan láàrín wọn, tí ìbá tún odi náà mọ́, tí ìbá dúró ní ibi tí ó ya náà níwájú mi fún ilẹ̀ náà, kí èmi má bá à parun: ṣùgbọ́n èmi kò rí ẹnìkan.
31 So I have poured out My indignation upon them and consumed them with the fire of My fury. I have brought their ways down upon their own heads, declares the Lord GOD.”
Nítorí náà ni mo ṣe da ìbínú mi sí wọn lórí, mo ti fi iná ìbínú mi run wọn, mo si ti fi ọ̀nà wọn gbẹ̀san lórí ara wọn, ní Olúwa Olódùmarè wí.”
