Ezekiel 14
1 Then some of the elders of Israel came and sat down before me.
൧യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽവന്ന് എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇരുന്നു.
2 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
൨അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്കുണ്ടായത് എന്തെന്നാൽ:
3 “Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked stumbling blocks before their faces. Should I consult with them in any way?
൩“മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഈ പുരുഷന്മാർ അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ സ്മരിച്ച് അവരുടെ അകൃത്യകാരണം അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ ചോദിച്ചാൽ ഞാൻ ഉത്തരമരുളുമോ?
4 Therefore speak to them and tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘When any Israelite sets up idols in his heart and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face, and then comes to the prophet, I the LORD will answer him according to his great idolatry,
൪അതുകൊണ്ട് നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടത്: ‘യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിൽ തന്റെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ സ്മരിച്ചും തന്റെ അകൃത്യകാരണം തന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വച്ചുംകൊണ്ട് പ്രവാചകന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്ന ഏവനോടും
5 so that I may take hold of the hearts of the people of Israel. For because of their idols, they are all estranged from Me.’
൫യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ തന്നെ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തെ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ പിടിച്ചടക്കേണ്ടതിന്, അവന്റെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ ബഹുത്വത്തിനു തക്കവണ്ണം ഉത്തരം അരുളും; അവർ എല്ലാവരും അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം എന്നെ വിട്ടകന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ”.
6 Therefore tell the house of Israel that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Repent and turn away from your idols; turn your faces away from all your abominations.
൬അതിനാൽ നീ യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തോട് പറയേണ്ടത്: “യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ അനുതപിച്ച് നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുതിരിയുവിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ സകല മ്ലേച്ഛബിംബങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുഖം തിരിക്കുവിൻ.
7 For when any Israelite or any foreigner dwelling in Israel separates himself from Me, sets up idols in his heart, and puts a wicked stumbling block before his face, and then comes to the prophet to inquire of Me, I the LORD will answer him Myself.
൭യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിലും യിസ്രായേലിൽ വന്നുപാർക്കുന്ന പരദേശികളിലും എന്നെ വിട്ടകന്ന് തന്റെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ സ്മരിച്ചും തന്റെ അകൃത്യകാരണം മുമ്പിൽ വച്ചുംകൊണ്ട് പ്രവാചകന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അരുളപ്പാട് ചോദിക്കുവാൻ വരുന്ന ഏവനോടും യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ തന്നെ ഉത്തരം അരുളും.
8 I will set My face against that man and make him a sign and a proverb; I will cut him off from among My people. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
൮ഞാൻ ആ മനുഷ്യന്റെ നേരെ മുഖംതിരിച്ച് അവനെ ഒരടയാളവും പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലും ആക്കും; ഞാൻ അവനെ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്ന് ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
9 But if the prophet is enticed to speak a message, then it was I the LORD who enticed him, and I will stretch out My hand against him and destroy him from among My people Israel.
൯എന്നാൽ പ്രവാചകൻ വശീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ട് ഒരു വാക്കു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചാൽ യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ ആ പ്രവാചകനെ വശീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവന്റെനേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി അവനെ യിസ്രായേൽ ജനത്തിൽനിന്ന് സംഹരിച്ചുകളയും.
10 They will bear their punishment—the punishment of the inquirer will be the same as that of the prophet—
൧൦യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹം ഇനി മേൽ എന്നെവിട്ടു തെറ്റിപ്പോകുകയും സകലവിധ ലംഘനങ്ങളുംകൊണ്ട് അശുദ്ധരായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യാതെ അവർ എനിക്ക് ജനവും ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് ദൈവവും ആയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്
11 in order that the house of Israel may no longer stray from Me and no longer defile themselves with all their transgressions. Then they will be My people and I will be their God, declares the Lord GOD.’”
൧൧അവർ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കും; ചോദിക്കുന്നവന്റെ അകൃത്യവും പ്രവാചകന്റെ അകൃത്യവും ഒരുപോലെ ആയിരിക്കും” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
12 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
൧൨യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
13 “Son of man, if a land sins against Me by acting unfaithfully, and I stretch out My hand against it to cut off its supply of food, to send famine upon it, and to cut off from it both man and beast,
൧൩“മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ ഒരു ദേശം എന്നോട് ദ്രോഹിച്ച് പാപം ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ നേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി, അപ്പം എന്ന കോൽ ഒടിച്ച്, ക്ഷാമം വരുത്തി, മനുഷ്യനെയും മൃഗത്തെയും അതിൽ നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.
14 then even if these three men—Noah, Daniel, and Job—were in it, their righteousness could deliver only themselves, declares the Lord GOD.
൧൪നോഹ, ദാനീയേൽ, ഇയ്യോബ് എന്നീ മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാർ അതിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാലും അവർ അവരുടെ നീതിയാൽ സ്വന്തജീവനെ മാത്രമേ രക്ഷിക്കുകയുള്ളു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
15 Or if I send wild beasts through the land to leave it childless and desolate, with no man passing through it for fear of the beasts,
൧൫ഞാൻ ദുഷ്ടമൃഗങ്ങളെ ദേശത്തു വരുത്തുകയും ആ മൃഗങ്ങളെ ഭയന്ന് ആരും വഴിപോകാത്തവിധം അവ അതിനെ നിർജ്ജനമാക്കിയിട്ട് അത് ശൂന്യമാകുകയും ചെയ്താൽ,
16 then as surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, even if these three men were in it, they could not deliver their own sons or daughters. They alone would be delivered, but the land would be desolate.
൧൬ആ മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാർ അതിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാലും എന്നാണ, അവർക്ക് പുത്രന്മാരെയോ പുത്രിമാരെയോ രക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ സാധിക്കാതെ അവർ മാത്രമേ രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയുള്ളു; ദേശമോ ശൂന്യമായിപ്പോകുമെന്ന്” യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
17 Or if I bring a sword against that land and say, ‘Let a sword pass through it,’ so that I cut off from it both man and beast,
൧൭അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ആ ദേശത്ത് വാൾ വരുത്തി ‘വാളേ, നീ ദേശത്തുകൂടി കടക്കുക’ എന്നു കല്പിച്ച് മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും
18 then as surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, even if these three men were in it, they could not deliver their own sons or daughters. They alone would be delivered.
൧൮അതിൽനിന്ന് ഛേദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞാൽ ആ മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാർ അതിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാലും, എന്നാണ, അവർക്ക് പുത്രന്മാരെയോ പുത്രിമാരെയോ രക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ സാധിക്കാതെ, അവർ മാത്രമേ രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയുള്ളു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
19 Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out My wrath upon it through bloodshed, cutting off from it both man and beast,
൧൯അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ആ ദേശത്ത് മഹാമാരി അയച്ച്, അതിൽനിന്ന് മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയുവാൻ തക്കവിധം എന്റെ ക്രോധം രക്തരൂപേണ അതിന്മേൽ പകർന്നാൽ
20 then as surely as I live, declares the Lord GOD, even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, they could not deliver their own sons or daughters. Their righteousness could deliver only themselves.
൨൦നോഹയും ദാനീയേലും ഇയ്യോബും അതിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാലും, എന്നാണ, അവർ പുത്രനെയോ പുത്രിയെയോ രക്ഷിക്കാതെ അവരുടെ നീതിയാൽ സ്വന്തജീവനെ മാത്രമേ രക്ഷിക്കുകയുള്ളു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
21 For this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem My four dire judgments—sword, famine, wild beasts, and plague—in order to cut off from it both man and beast?
൨൧യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ നിന്നു മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന് വാൾ, ക്ഷാമം, ദുഷ്ടമൃഗം, മഹാമാരി എന്നിങ്ങനെ അനർത്ഥകരമായ ന്യായവിധികൾ നാലും കൂടി അയച്ചാലോ?
22 Yet, behold, some survivors will be left in it—sons and daughters who will be brought out. They will come out to you, and when you see their conduct and actions, you will be comforted regarding the disaster I have brought upon Jerusalem—all that I have brought upon it.
൨൨എന്നാൽ പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോരുവാനുള്ള പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും ആയ ഒരു രക്ഷിതഗണം അതിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കും; അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ട് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരും; നിങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ നടപ്പും പ്രവൃത്തികളും കണ്ട്, ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിനു വരുത്തിയ അനർത്ഥവും അതിന് വരുത്തിയ സകലവും ചൊല്ലി ആശ്വാസം പ്രാപിക്കും.
23 They will bring you consolation when you see their conduct and actions, and you will know that it was not without cause that I have done all these things within it,’ declares the Lord GOD.”
൨൩നിങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ നടപ്പും പ്രവൃത്തികളും കാണുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ആശ്വാസമായിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അതിൽ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം വെറുതെയല്ല ചെയ്തത് എന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
