Esther 6
1 That night sleep escaped the king; so he ordered the Book of Records, the Chronicles, to be brought in and read to him.
১সেই ৰাতি ৰজাই টোপনি যাব নোৱাৰিলে। ৰজাই তেওঁৰ ৰাজত্বৰ সময়ত ঘটা ঘটনাৱলীৰ কাৰ্য-বিৱৰণী আনিবলৈ আজ্ঞা দিলে; আৰু তেওঁলোকে উচ্চ-স্বৰে ৰজাৰ আগত তাক পাঠ কৰিলে।
2 And there it was found recorded that Mordecai had exposed Bigthana and Teresh, two of the eunuchs who guarded the king’s entrance, when they had conspired to assassinate King Xerxes.
২সেই কাৰ্য-বিৱৰণীত লিখা অনুসাৰে এই কথা গ’ম পোৱা গ’ল যে, ৰাজ-নপুংসক বিগথন আৰু তেৰচ নামেৰে দুজন প্রৱেশ দুৱাৰৰ দুৱৰীয়ে ৰজা অহচবেৰোচৰ ক্ষতি কৰিবলৈ চেষ্টা কৰা বিষয়টো এই মৰ্দখয়েই ৰজাক জনাইছিল।
3 The king inquired, “What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this act?” “Nothing has been done for him,” replied the king’s attendants.
৩পাছত ৰজাই সুধিলে, “মৰ্দখয়ে কৰা এই কাৰ্যৰ বাবে তেওঁক কি সন্মান বা স্বীকৃতি প্রদান কৰা হৈছিল? তাৰ পাছত ৰজাৰ পৰিচৰ্যা কৰা যুৱক দাস সকলে তেওঁক ক’লে, “তেওঁৰ বাবে একো কৰা হোৱা নাই।”
4 “Who is in the court?” the king asked. Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the palace to ask the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows he had prepared for him.
৪ৰজাই সুধিলে, “চোতালত কোন আছে? সেই সময়ত ৰজাৰ আগত নিবেদন কৰি নিজে যুগুত কৰা ফাঁচি কাঠত মৰ্দখয়ক ফাঁচি দিবলৈ ৰাজগৃহৰ বাহিৰ চোতালত হামন সোমাইছিল।
5 So the king’s attendants answered him, “Haman is there, standing in the court.” “Bring him in,” ordered the king.
৫ৰজাৰ দাস সকলে তেওঁক ক’লে, “হামন চোতালত থিয় হৈ আছে।” তাতে ৰজাই ক’লে, “তেওঁক ভিতৰলৈ আহিব দিয়া।”
6 Haman entered, and the king asked him, “What should be done for the man whom the king is delighted to honor?” Now Haman thought to himself, “Whom would the king be delighted to honor more than me?”
৬হামন যেতিয়া ভিতৰলৈ সোমাল, তেতিয়া ৰজাই তেওঁক ক’লে, “ৰজাই যি জনক সন্মান দিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, তেওঁলৈ কি কৰা উচিত?” হামনে মনতে ভাবিলে, মোতকৈ বেছি ৰজাই আন কাক সন্মান দিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰিব?
7 And Haman told the king, “For the man whom the king is delighted to honor,
৭সেয়ে হামনে ৰজাক ক’লে, “ৰজাই যি জনক সন্মান দিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে,
8 have them bring a royal robe that the king himself has worn and a horse on which the king himself has ridden—one with a royal crest placed on its head.
৮তেওঁৰ বাবে যি বস্ত্র ৰজাই পৰিধান কৰে সেই ৰাজকীয় বস্ত্র দিয়া যাওক, আৰু ৰাজকীয় মুকুটৰ সৈতে যি ঘোঁৰাত ৰজা উঠে, সেই ঘোঁৰা দিয়া যাওক।
9 Let the robe and the horse be entrusted to one of the king’s most noble princes. Let them array the man the king wants to honor and parade him on the horse through the city square, proclaiming before him, ‘This is what is done for the man whom the king is delighted to honor!’”
৯তাৰ পাছত সেই বস্ত্ৰ আৰু ঘোঁৰা ৰজাৰ বিশেষ প্ৰধান কৰ্মচাৰী সকলৰ মাজৰ এজনৰ হাতত গতাই দিয়া হওক; আৰু ৰজাই যি জনক সন্মান দিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, তেওঁক সেই ৰাজ-বস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধোৱা হওক। পাছত তেওঁক সেই ঘোঁৰাত তুলি নগৰৰ মাজৰ পথেৰে লৈ যাবলৈ তেওঁলোকক কোৱা হওক। তেওঁৰ আগে আগে এই কথা ঘোষণা কৰা হওক যে, ‘ৰজাই যি জনক সন্মান দিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, তেওঁলৈ এইদৰে কৰা হ’ব!’”
10 “Hurry,” said the king to Haman, “and do just as you proposed. Take the robe and the horse to Mordecai the Jew, who is sitting at the king’s gate. Do not neglect anything that you have suggested.”
১০তেতিয়া ৰজাই হামনক ক’লে, “বেগাই আহাঁ, তুমি ৰাজ-বস্ত্ৰ আৰু ঘোঁৰা লোৱা, আৰু তুমি কোৱাৰ দৰে ৰাজদুৱাৰত বহি থকা যিহুদী মৰ্দখয়লৈ সেই দৰেই কৰা। তুমি কোৱা কথাৰ এটা কথাও ত্ৰুটি নকৰিবা।”
11 So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai, and paraded him through the city square, crying out before him, “This is what is done for the man whom the king is delighted to honor!”
১১তেতিয়া হামনে সেই ৰাজ-বস্ত্ৰ আৰু ঘোঁৰা ল’লে, আৰু মৰ্দখয়ক বস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধাই ঘোঁৰাত তুলি নগৰৰ মাজেৰে ফুৰালে। তেওঁ মৰ্দখয়ৰ আগে আগে এই কথা ঘোষণা কৰিলে যে, “ৰজাই যি জনক সন্মান দিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰে, তেওঁলৈ এইদৰে কৰা হ’ব।”
12 Then Mordecai returned to the king’s gate. But Haman rushed home, with his head covered in grief.
১২তাৰ পাছত মৰ্দখয় ৰাজ-দুৱাৰলৈ উলটি গ’ল। কিন্তু হামনে শোক কৰি কাপোৰেৰে মুৰ ঢাকি নিজৰ ঘৰলৈ বেগাই গ’ল।
13 Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened. His advisers and his wife Zeresh said to him, “Since Mordecai, before whom your downfall has begun, is Jewish, you will not prevail against him—for surely you will fall before him.”
১৩হামনে তেওঁৰ ভাৰ্যা জেৰচক আৰু তেওঁৰ সকলো বন্ধুক তেওঁলৈ ঘটা সকলো কথা ক’লে। তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ যি সকল লোক জ্ঞানৰ বাবে জনাজাত আছিল, তেওঁলোক আৰু তেওঁৰ ভাৰ্যা জেৰচে তেওঁক ক’লে, “যি মৰ্দখয়ৰ আগত আপোনাৰ সন্মান ম্লান হ’ব ধৰিছে, সেই মৰ্দখয় যদি যিহুদী বংশৰ লোক হয়, তেনেহলে আপুনি কেতিয়াও তেওঁক জয় কৰিব নোৱাৰিব, তেওঁৰ আগত আপোনাৰ নিশ্চয় সৰ্বনাশ হ’ব।”
14 While they were still speaking with Haman, the king’s eunuchs arrived and rushed him to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
১৪তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ লগত কথা পাতি থাকোঁতেই ৰাজ-নপুংসক সকল আহি উপস্থিত হ’ল; আৰু ৰাণী ইষ্টেৰে যুগুত কৰা ভোজলৈ হামনক লৈ যাবলৈ খৰধৰ কৰিলে।
