Esther 3
1 After these events, King Xerxes honored Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, elevating him to a position above all the princes who were with him.
Дупэ ачесте лукрурь, ымпэратул Ахашверош а ридикат ла путере пе Хаман, фиул луй Хамедата, Агагитул. Л-а ридикат ын чинсте ши а пус скаунул луй май пресус де скаунеле тутурор кэпетениилор каре ерау лынгэ ел.
2 All the royal servants at the king’s gate bowed down and paid homage to Haman, because the king had commanded that this be done for him. But Mordecai would not bow down or pay homage.
Тоць служиторий ымпэратулуй каре стэтяу ла поарта ымпэратулуй плекау ӂенункюл ши се ынкинау ынаинтя луй Хаман, кэч аша ера порунка ымпэратулуй ку привире ла ел. Дар Мардохеу ну-шь плека ӂенункюл ши ну се ынкина.
3 Then the royal servants at the king’s gate asked Mordecai, “Why do you disobey the command of the king?”
Ши служиторий ымпэратулуй каре стэтяу ла поарта ымпэратулуй ау зис луй Мардохеу: „Пентру че калчь порунка ымпэратулуй?”
4 Day after day they warned him, but he would not comply. So they reported it to Haman to see whether Mordecai’s behavior would be tolerated, since he had told them he was a Jew.
Фииндкэ ей ый спуняу ын фиекаре зи лукрул ачеста, ши ел ну-й аскулта, л-ау спус луй Хаман, ка сэ вадэ дакэ Мардохеу аре сэ се цинэ де хотэрыря луй, кэч ел спусесе кэ есте иудеу.
5 When Haman saw that Mordecai would not bow down or pay him homage, he was filled with rage.
Ши Хаман а вэзут кэ Мардохеу ну-шь плека ӂенункюл ши ну се ынкина ынаинтя луй. С-а умплут де мыние,
6 And when he learned the identity of Mordecai’s people, he scorned the notion of laying hands on Mordecai alone. Instead, he sought to destroy all of Mordecai’s people, the Jews, throughout the kingdom of Xerxes.
дар а крезут кэ е пря пуцин пентру ел сэ пунэ мына нумай пе Мардохеу, кэч и се спусесе дин че попор ера Мардохеу, ши а воит сэ нимичяскэ пе попорул луй Мардохеу, пе тоць иудеий каре се афлау ын тоатэ ымпэрэция луй Ахашверош.
7 In the twelfth year of King Xerxes, in the first month, the month of Nisan, the Pur (that is, the lot) was cast before Haman to determine a day and month. And the lot fell on the twelfth month, the month of Adar.
Ын луна ынтый, адикэ луна Нисан, ын ал дойспрезечеля ан ал ымпэратулуй Ахашверош, ау арункат Пур, адикэ сорцул, ынаинтя луй Хаман, пентру фиекаре зи ши пентру фиекаре лунэ, пынэ ын луна а доуэспрезечя, адикэ луна Адар.
8 Then Haman informed King Xerxes, “There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the peoples of every province of your kingdom. Their laws are different from everyone else’s, and they do not obey the king’s laws. So it is not in the king’s best interest to tolerate them.
Атунч, Хаман а зис ымпэратулуй Ахашверош: „Ын тоате цинутуриле ымпэрэцией тале есте рисипит ун попор деосебит ынтре попоаре, каре аре леӂь деосебите де але тутурор попоарелор ши ну цине леӂиле ымпэратулуй. Ну есте ын фолосул ымпэратулуй сэ-л ласе лиништит.
9 If it pleases the king, let a decree be issued to destroy them, and I will deposit ten thousand talents of silver into the royal treasury to pay those who carry it out.”
Дакэ ымпэратул гэсеште ку кале, сэ се скрие о порункэ пентру ка ей сэ фие нимичиць, ши еу вой кынтэри зече мий де таланць де арӂинт ын мыниле службашилор, ка сэ-й дукэ ын вистиерия ымпэратулуй.”
10 So the king removed the signet ring from his finger and gave it to Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews.
Ымпэратул шь-а скос инелул дин деӂет ши л-а дат луй Хаман, фиул луй Хамедата, Агагитул, врэжмашул иудеилор.
11 “Keep your money,” said the king to Haman. “These people are given to you to do with them as you please.”
Ши ымпэратул а зис луй Хаман: „Ыць дэруеск ши арӂинтул, ши пе попорул ачеста; фэ ку ел че вей вои.”
12 On the thirteenth day of the first month, the royal scribes were summoned and the order was written exactly as Haman commanded the royal satraps, the governors of each province, and the officials of each people, in the script of each province and the language of every people. It was written in the name of King Xerxes and sealed with the royal signet ring.
Логофеций ымпэратулуй ау фост кемаць ын а трейспрезечя зи а луний ынтый ши ау скрис ын тотул кум а порунчит Хаман май-марилор оштирий, дрегэторилор фиекэруй цинут ши кэпетениилор фиекэруй попор, фиекэруй цинут дупэ скриеря луй ши фиекэруй попор дупэ лимба луй. Ау скрис ын нумеле ымпэратулуй Ахашверош ши ау печетлуит скрисориле ку инелул ымпэратулуй.
13 And the letters were sent by couriers to each of the royal provinces with the order to destroy, kill, and annihilate all the Jews—young and old, women and children—and to plunder their possessions on a single day, the thirteenth day of Adar, the twelfth month.
Скрисориле ау фост тримисе прин алергэторь ын тоате цинутуриле ымпэратулуй ка сэ нимичяскэ, сэ омоаре ши сэ пярдэ пе тоць иудеий, тинерь ши бэтрынь, прунчь ши фемей, ши ануме ынтр-о сингурэ зи, ын зиуа а трейспрезечя а луний а доуэспрезечя, адикэ луна Адар, ши сэ ли се праде авериле.
14 A copy of the text of the edict was to be issued in every province and published to all the people, so that they would be ready on that day.
Ачесте скрисорь куприндяу порунка ымпэратулуй, каре требуя веститэ ын фиекаре цинут, ши ындемнау пе тоате попоареле сэ фие гата пентру зиуа ачея.
15 The couriers left, spurred on by the king’s command, and the edict was issued in the citadel of Susa. Then the king and Haman sat down to drink, but the city of Susa was in confusion.
Алергэторий ау плекат ын грабэ маре, дупэ порунка ымпэратулуй. Порунка а фост веститэ ши ын капитала Суса. Ши, пе кынд ымпэратул ши Хаман стэтяу ши бяу, четатя Суса ера ынгрозитэ.
