Ephesians 5
1 Be imitators of God, therefore, as beloved children,
১এতেকে আপোনালোক ঈশ্বৰৰ প্ৰিয় সন্তান হিচাপে তেওঁৰ অনুকাৰী হওক।
2 and walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant sacrificial offering to God.
২খ্ৰীষ্টে যেনেকৈ আপোনালোকক প্ৰেম কৰিলে আৰু আমাৰ কাৰণে ঈশ্বৰৰ উদ্দেশ্যে সুগন্ধযুক্ত নৈবেদ্য আৰু বলি স্বৰূপে নিজকে শোধাই দিলে, তেনেকৈ আপোনালোকেও প্ৰেমৰ পথত চলক।
3 But among you, as is proper among the saints, there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed.
৩আপোনালোকৰ মাজত যেন ব্যভিচাৰ আদি কোনো ধৰণৰ অনৈতিক বা অশুচি কৰ্ম আৰু লোভ নাথাকক; সেইবোৰৰ বিষয়ে কথা-বার্তাও নহওক; ঈশ্বৰৰ পবিত্ৰ লোকৰ এয়ে উচিত;
4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk, or crude joking, which are out of character, but rather thanksgiving.
৪আপোনালোকৰ কথা-বার্তা মাত্র ধন্যবাদযুক্ত হওক। লজ্জাজনক অশ্লিলতা, নির্বোধ বলকনি, নিম্নমানৰ ৰসিকতা আপোনালোকৰ মাজত নহওক।
5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure, or greedy person (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
৫আপোনালোকে নিশ্চয়ে জানে যে, যি সকলে ব্যভিচাৰ কৰে বা যি সকল অশুচি আৰু লুভীয়া, যি সকলক মূৰ্তিপূজক বুলি কোৱা হয়, তেওঁলোকৰ কাৰণে খ্ৰীষ্টৰ আৰু ঈশ্বৰৰ ৰাজ্যত কোনো স্থান নাই।
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience.
৬অনৰ্থক বাক্যৰ দ্বাৰা আপোনালোকক ভুলাবলৈ কাকো নিদিব; কিয়নো এইবোৰৰ কাৰণে অবাধ্যতাৰ সন্তান সকলৰ ওপৰলৈ ঈশ্বৰৰ ক্ৰোধ নামি আহে।
7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.
৭গতিকে, আপোনালোক তেওঁলোকৰ সহভাগী নহব।
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,
৮কিয়নো পূর্বতে আপোনালোক যদিও আন্ধাৰত আছিল কিন্তু এতিয়া প্ৰভুত সংযুক্ত হৈ পোহৰত আছে। সেয়ে পোহৰৰ সন্তান সকলৰ দৰে জীৱন-যাপন কৰক।
9 for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.
৯কাৰণ সকলো মঙ্গলভাৱ, ধাৰ্মিকতা আৰু সত্যতাই হৈছে পোহৰৰ ফল।
10 Test and prove what pleases the Lord.
১০ইয়াৰ দ্বাৰাই আপোনালোকে প্রভুৰ সন্তোষজনক কি, সেই বিষয়ে বিবেচনা কৰি নির্ণয় কৰিব পাৰিব।
11 Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
১১আন্ধাৰৰ ফলহীন কাৰ্যবোৰৰ অংশীদাৰ নহব; বৰং সেইবোৰৰ দোষ দেখুৱাই দিয়ক;
12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
১২কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে গুপুতে যি যি কৰে, সেইবোৰ উচ্চাৰণ কৰিবলৈকো লাজৰ বিষয়।
13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that is illuminated becomes a light itself.
১৩পোহৰৰ দ্বাৰাই সকলো প্ৰকাশিত হয়
14 So it is said: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
১৪কিয়নো পোহৰতে সকলো স্পষ্ট হৈ পৰে। সেই বাবে কোৱা হৈছে: “হে টোপনিওৱা জন সাৰ পোৱা আৰু মৃত লোক সকলৰ মাজৰ পৰা উঠা; তাতে আপোনালোকৰ ওপৰত খ্ৰীষ্টই পোহৰ দিব।”
15 Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,
১৫এতেকে কিদৰে জীৱন-যাপন কৰিছে, তালৈ সাৱধানে দৃষ্টি কৰক; অজ্ঞানৰ দৰে নহয়, কিন্তু জ্ঞানীৰ দৰে চলক;
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
১৬সুসময়ক কিনি লব; কিয়নো এই কাল মন্দ।
17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
১৭এই হেতুকে আপোনালোক নিৰ্ব্বোধ নহব, কিন্তু প্ৰভুৰ ইচ্ছা কি তাক জ্ঞাত হওক।
18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to reckless indiscretion. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
১৮দ্ৰাক্ষাৰসেৰে মতলীয়া নহব; কিয়নো তাত নষ্টামি আছে; কিন্তু পবিত্ৰ আত্মাৰে পৰিপূৰ্ণ হওক;
19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord,
১৯ধৰ্মগীত, স্তুতি-গীত আৰু আত্মিক গানেৰে আপোনালোকে পৰস্পৰে আলোচনা কৰক আৰু প্ৰভুৰ উদ্দেশ্যে হৃদয়েৰে গান আৰু প্রসংশা কৰক।
20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
২০সদায় আমাৰ প্ৰভু যীচু খ্ৰীষ্টৰ নামেৰে সকলো বিষয়ৰ কাৰণে পিতৃ ঈশ্বৰৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰক।
21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
২১খ্ৰীষ্টৰ ভয়ত ইজনে সিজনৰ বশীভূত হওক।
22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
২২হে ভাৰ্যা সকল, আপোনালোক যেনেকৈ প্ৰভুৰ, তেনেকৈ নিজ নিজ স্বামীৰো বশীভূত হওক;
23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior.
২৩কিয়নো খ্ৰীষ্ট যেনেকৈ মণ্ডলীৰ মূৰ আৰু নিজেই শৰীৰৰ ত্ৰাণকৰ্তা, তেনেকৈ স্বামীও ভাৰ্য্যাৰ মূৰ স্বৰূপ হৈছে।
24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
২৪মণ্ডলী যেনেকৈ খ্ৰীষ্টৰ বশীভূত, তেনেকৈ সকলো বিষয়ত ভাৰ্যা সকলো নিজ নিজ স্বামীৰ বশীভূত হওক।
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her
২৫হে পুৰুষ সকল, খ্ৰীষ্টে ষেনেকৈ মণ্ডলীক প্ৰেম কৰিলে আৰু তাৰ কাৰণে নিজকে শোধাই দিলে, তেনেকৈ আপোনালোকেও নিজ নিজ ভাৰ্যাক প্ৰেম কৰক;
26 to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
২৬মণ্ডলী যেন পবিত্ৰ হয়, তাৰ বাবে তেওঁ আমাক বাক্যৰূপ জলস্নানত ধুই শুচি কৰিলে।
27 and to present her to Himself as a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.
২৭তেওঁ মণ্ডলীক পৰিষ্কাৰ কৰিলে যাতে তেওঁ নিজৰ আগত মণ্ডলীক গৌৰৱময়, দাগ থকা বা শোটোৰা পৰা আদি কৰি একো ঘূণ নথকা, পবিত্ৰ আৰু নিষ্কলঙ্কৰূপে উপস্থিত কৰিব পাৰে।
28 In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
২৮সেইদৰে স্বামী সকলে নিজ নিজ ভাৰ্যাক, নিজ নিজ শৰীৰ বুলি প্ৰেম কৰা উচিত। যি জনে নিজ ভাৰ্যাক প্ৰেম কৰে, তেওঁ নিজকেই প্ৰেম কৰে।
29 Indeed, no one ever hated his own body, but he nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church.
২৯কিয়নো কোনেও নিজৰ শৰীৰক কেতিয়াও ঘৃণা নকৰে; কিন্তু পৰিপুষ্ট কৰি তাৰ যত্ন লয়। সেইদৰে খ্রীষ্টয়ো মণ্ডলীক ভালপায়।
30 For we are members of His body.
৩০কাৰণ আমি তেওঁৰ শৰীৰৰ অঙ্গ-প্ৰত্যঙ্গ।
31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”
৩১‘এই কাৰণে মানুহে নিজৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃক এৰি, নিজ তিৰোতাত আসক্ত হব আৰু তাতে দুয়ো এক দেহ হব।’
32 This mystery is profound, but I am speaking about Christ and the church.
৩২ই এক মহান গোপন সত্য, কিন্তু মই আচলতে খ্ৰীষ্ট আৰু তেওঁৰ মণ্ডলীৰ বিষয়েহে কৈছোঁ।
33 Nevertheless, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
৩৩যি কি নহওক, আপোনালোক প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ ভাৰ্যাক নিজৰ নিচিনাকৈ প্ৰেম কৰক আৰু ভার্য্যায়ো উচিত মতে নিজৰ স্বামীক সন্মান কৰক।
