Deuteronomy 34
1 Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which faces Jericho. And the LORD showed him the whole land—from Gilead as far as Dan,
Y Moisés subió de las tierras de la mesa de Moab al Monte Nebo, a la cumbre de Pisga que se enfrenta a Jericó. Y el Señor le permitió ver toda la tierra, la tierra de Galaad hasta Dan,
2 all of Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Western Sea,
Y todos los de Neftalí y la tierra de Efraín y Manasés, y toda la tierra de Judá, hasta el Gran Mar del oeste;
3 the Negev, and the region from the Valley of Jericho (the City of Palms) all the way to Zoar.
Y él Neguev, y el valle de Jericó, el pueblo de palmeras, hasta Zoar.
4 And the LORD said to him, “This is the land that I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your own eyes, but you will not cross into it.”
Y el Señor le dijo: Esta es la tierra sobre la cual hice un juramento a Abraham, Isaac y Jacob, diciendo: Se lo daré a tu simiente: ahora te he dejado verlo con tus ojos. Pero no entrarás allí.
5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, as the LORD had said.
Y vino la muerte a Moisés, el siervo del Señor, allí en la tierra de Moab, como el Señor había dicho.
6 And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab facing Beth-peor, and no one to this day knows the location of his grave.
Y él Señor lo puso a descansar en el valle de la tierra de Moab, frente a Bet Peor; pero nadie tiene conocimiento de su lugar de reposo hasta hoy.
7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak, and his vitality had not diminished.
Y a su muerte, Moisés tenía ciento veinte años: su ojo no se había empañado, o su fuerza natural se había debilitado.
8 The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the time of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.
Durante treinta días los hijos de Israel lloraban por Moisés en las tierras de la mesa de Moab, hasta que terminaron los días de llanto y pena por Moisés.
9 Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites obeyed him and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Y Josué, hijo de Nun, estaba lleno del espíritu de sabiduría; porque Moisés había puesto sus manos sobre él, y los hijos de Israel le oyeron e hicieron lo que el Señor le había ordenado a Moisés.
10 Since that time, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face—
Nunca ha habido otro profeta en Israel como Moisés, a quien el Señor haya conocido cara a cara;
11 no prophet who did all the signs and wonders that the LORD sent Moses to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all his officials and all his land,
Nadie como él en todas las señales y maravillas que el Señor le envió a hacer en la tierra de Egipto, a Faraón y a todos sus siervos y toda su tierra;
12 and no prophet who performed all the mighty acts of power and awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
Y en todos los actos de poder y temor que Moisés hizo ante los ojos de todo Israel.
