< Deuteronomy 27 >

1 Then Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people: “Keep all the commandments I am giving you today.
モーセ、イスラエルの長老等とともにありて民に命じて曰ふ我が今日なんぢらに命ずるこの誡命を汝ら全く守るべし
2 And on the day you cross the Jordan into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, set up large stones and coat them with plaster.
汝らヨルダンを濟り汝の神ヱホバが汝に與へたまふ地にいる時は大なる石數箇を立て石灰をその上に塗り
3 Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land that the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
旣に濟りて後この律法の諸の言語をその上に書すべし然すれば汝の神ヱホバの汝にたまふ地なる乳と蜜の流るる國に汝いるを得ること汝の先祖等の神ヱホバの汝に言たまひしごとくならん
4 And when you have crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, as I am commanding you today, and you are to coat them with plaster.
即ち汝らヨルダンを濟るにおよばば我が今日なんぢらに命ずるその石をエバル山に立て石灰をその上に塗べし
5 Moreover, you are to build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. You must not use any iron tool on them.
また其處に汝の神ヱホバのために石の壇一座を築くべし但し之を築くには鐵の器を用ゐるべからず
6 You shall build the altar of the LORD your God with uncut stones and offer upon it burnt offerings to the LORD your God.
汝新石をもて汝の神ヱホバのその壇を築きその上にて汝の神ヱホバに燔祭を献ぐべし
7 There you are to sacrifice your peace offerings, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.
汝また彼處にて酬恩祭を獻げその物を食ひて汝の神ヱホバの前に樂むべし
8 And you shall write distinctly upon these stones all the words of this law.”
汝この律法の諸の言語をその石の上に明白に書すべし
9 Then Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel: “Be silent, O Israel, and listen! This day you have become the people of the LORD your God.
モーセまた祭司たるレビ人とともにイスラエルの全家に告て曰ふイスラエルよ謹みて聽け汝は今日汝の神ヱホバの民となれり
10 You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God and follow His commandments and statutes I am giving you today.”
然ば汝の神ヱホバの聲に聽從ひ我が今日汝に命ずる之が誡命と法度をおこなふべし
11 On that day Moses commanded the people:
その日にモーセまた民に命じて言ふ
12 “When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.
汝らがヨルダンを渡りし後是らの者ゲリジム山にたちて民を祝すべし即ちシメオン、レビ、ユダ、イツサカル、ヨセフおよびベニヤミン
13 And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal to deliver the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
また是らの者はエバル山にたちて呪詛ことをすべし即ちルベン、ガド、アセル、ゼブルン、ダンおよびナフタリ
14 Then the Levites shall proclaim in a loud voice to every Israelite:
レビ人大聲にてイスラエルの人々に告て言べし
15 ‘Cursed is the man who makes a carved idol or molten image—an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of a craftsman—and sets it up in secret.’
偶像は工人の手の作にしてヱホバの憎みたまふ者なれば凡てこれを刻みまたは鋳造りて密に安置く人は詛はるべしと民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
16 ‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or mother.’
その父母を軽んずる者は詛はるべし民みな對てアーメンといふべし
17 ‘Cursed is he who moves his neighbor’s boundary stone.’
その鄰の地界を侵す者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
18 ‘Cursed is he who lets a blind man wander in the road.’
盲者をして路に迷はしむる者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
19 ‘Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow.’
客旅孤子および寡婦の審判を枉る者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
20 ‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he has violated his father’s marriage bed.’
その父の妻と寝る者はその父を辱しむるなれば詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
21 ‘Cursed is he who lies with any animal.’
凡て獣畜と交る者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
22 ‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’
その父の女子またはその母の女子たる己の姉妹と寝る者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンとふべし
23 ‘Cursed is he who sleeps with his mother-in-law.’
その妻の母と寝る者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
24 ‘Cursed is he who strikes down his neighbor in secret.’
暗の中にその鄰を撃つ者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
25 ‘Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.’
報酬をうけて無辜者を殺してその血を流す者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
26 ‘Cursed is he who does not put the words of this law into practice.’
この律法の言を守りて行はざる者は詛はるべし民みな對へてアーメンといふべし
