Deuteronomy 12
1 These are the statutes and ordinances you must be careful to follow all the days you live in the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess.
Khohmuen kah aka hing nangmih te na tue khuiah pang sak hamla na pa rhoek kah Pathen BOEIPA loh nang taengah m'paek khohmuen ah he rhoek kah oltlueh neh laitloeknah he vai hamla ngaithuen uh.
2 Destroy completely all the places where the nations you are dispossessing have served their gods—atop the high mountains, on the hills, and under every green tree.
Na haek uh namtom rhoek loh tho a thueng nah hmuen boeih te milh rhoe milh sakuh. Amih kah pathen te tlang ah khaw, som ah khaw, thing hing hmui boeih ah a pomsang uh lah ko.
3 Tear down their altars, smash their sacred pillars, burn up their Asherah poles, cut down the idols of their gods, and wipe out their names from every place.
A hmueihtuk te palet lamtah a kaam te phaek uh. Amih kah Asherah te hmai neh hoeh uh. Amih kah pathen mueidaep te khaw tloek uh. A ming te te hmuen lamloh phae uh.
4 You shall not worship the LORD your God in this way.
BOEIPA na Pathen taengah te bang te saii uh boeh.
5 Instead, you must seek the place the LORD your God will choose from among all your tribes to establish as a dwelling for His Name, and there you must go.
Tedae BOEIPA na Pathen loh amah ming a phuk tih khosak thil ham a coelh hmuen te mah nangmih koca boeih loh tlap uh lamtah paan uh.
6 To that place you are to bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and heave offerings, your vow offerings and freewill offerings, as well as the firstborn of your herds and flocks.
Te lam te na hmueihhlutnah neh hmueih khaw, parha pakhat neh na kut dongkah khocang khaw, na olcaeng neh na kothoh khaw, na saelhung neh na boiva cacuek te khaw khuen uh.
7 There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your households shall eat and rejoice in all you do, because the LORD your God has blessed you.
BOEIPA na Pathen kah mikhmuh ah ca uh. BOEIPA na Pathen loh na yoe han then sak vanbangla namamih neh na imkhui kah na kut thuengnah boeih dongah na kohoe sakuh.
8 You are not to do as we are doing here today, where everyone does what seems right in his own eyes.
Tihnin kah he rhoek ah mamih boeih loh n'saii uh bangla saii uh boeh. Hlang he amah mikhmuh ah boeih thuem ta.
9 For you have not yet come to the resting place and the inheritance that the LORD your God is giving you.
Duemnah neh BOEIPA na Pathen loh nang taengah m'paek rho khuiah na kun uh pawt ve.
10 When you cross the Jordan and live in the land that the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and He gives you rest from all the enemies around you and you dwell securely,
Jordan na poeng uh tih BOEIPA na Pathen loh nangmih m'pang sak khohmuen la na om uh vaengah a kaepvai kah na thunkha cungkuem taeng lamloh nangmih n'duem sak vetih ngaikhuek la kho na sak uh bitni.
11 then the LORD your God will choose a dwelling for His Name. And there you are to bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, and all the choice offerings you vow to the LORD.
Tedae BOEIPA na Pathen loh amah ming om sak ham amah taengah a coelh hmuen te om bitni. Teah tah kai loh nangmih kang uen vanbangla na hmueihhlutnah neh na hmueih khaw, parha pakhat neh na kut dongkah khocang khaw, BOEIPA taengah na caeng, olcaeng piyawn boeih khaw boeih khuen uh.
12 And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God—you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levite within your gates, since he has no portion or inheritance among you.
Te vaengah namamih neh na canu na capa rhoek khaw, na salpa neh na salnu rhoek khaw, nangmih bangla khoyo neh rho om pawt tih na vongka khuiah aka om Levi rhoek khaw BOEIPA na Pathen kah mikhmuh ah na kohoe sakuh.
13 Be careful not to offer your burnt offerings in just any place you see;
Namah te ngaithuen, na hmuh bangla hmuen cungkuem ah na hmueihhlutnah na tloeng ve.
14 you must offer them only in the place the LORD will choose in one of your tribal territories, and there you shall do all that I command you.
Namah koca pakhat khuiah BOEIPA kah a coelh hmuen bueng ah ni na hmueihhlutnah te na nawn vetih kang uen bangla boeih na saii eh.
15 But whenever you want, you may slaughter and eat meat within any of your gates, according to the blessing the LORD your God has given you. Both the ceremonially clean and unclean may eat it as they would a gazelle or deer,
Tedae na hinglu loh a hue boeih te ngawn lamtah BOEIPA na Pathen loh nang m'paek yoethennah maeh la ca. Na vongka khuikah boeih te tah rhalawt neh a cuem khaw rhangrhaeh bangla, kirhang bangla ca saeh.
16 but you must not eat the blood; pour it on the ground like water.
Tedae thii te tah ca boeh. Diklai dongah tui bangla hawk.
17 Within your gates you must not eat the tithe of your grain or new wine or oil, the firstborn of your herds or flocks, any of the offerings that you have vowed to give, or your freewill offerings or special gifts.
Na cangpai, misur thai, situi parha pakhat khaw, na saelhung neh boiva cacuek, na caeng tangtae na olcaeng boeih, na kothoh neh na kut dongkah khosaa tah na vongka ah na caak ham coeng pawh.
18 Instead, you must eat them in the presence of the LORD your God at the place the LORD your God will choose—you, your sons and daughters, your menservants and maidservants, and the Levite within your gates. Rejoice before the LORD your God in all you do,
Namah neh na canu na capa long khaw, na salnu salpa long khaw, na vongka khuiah aka om Levi long khaw, BOEIPA na Pathen kah mikhmuh ah ca uh. Tekah a hmuen te tah BOEIPA na Pathen amah long ni a tuek. Te dongah na kut thuengnah boeih nen khaw BOEIPA na Pathen kah mikhmuh ah na kohoe sakuh.
19 and be careful not to neglect the Levites as long as you live in your land.
Namah te ngaithuen. na khohmuen kah na hing tue khuiah Levi rhoek te na hnoo ve ne.
20 When the LORD your God expands your territory as He has promised, and you crave meat and say, “I want to eat meat,” you may eat it whenever you want.
Nang taengkah a thui vanbangla BOEIPA na Pathen loh na khorhi hang aeh vaengah na hinglu loh maeh caak hamla a nai tih, “Maeh ka caak lah sue,” na ti oeh atah na hinglu loh a hue mebang maeh khaw na caak thai.
21 If the place where the LORD your God chooses to put His Name is too far from you, then you may slaughter any of the herd or flock He has given you, as I have commanded you, and you may eat it within your gates whenever you want.
BOEIPA na Pathen loh amah ming phuk thil ham a coelh hmuen te nang lamloh hlavak oeh tih, BOEIPA loh nang m'paek saelhung neh boiva ni na ngawn atah, kang uen vanbangla na hinglu loh a hue bangla namah vongka ah khaw ca mai.
22 Indeed, you may eat it as you would eat a gazelle or deer; both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat it.
Rhangrhaeh neh kirhang na caak bangla ca saeh lamtah rhalawt akhaw a cuem akhaw rhenten ca saeh.
23 Only be sure not to eat the blood, because the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat.
Tedae a thii tah hinglu la a om dongah thii te caak pawt ham tuem uh. A hinglu te maeh neh hmaih ca boeh.
24 You must not eat the blood; pour it on the ground like water.
Te te ca boel lamtah diklai dongah tui bangla hawk.
25 Do not eat it, so that it may go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is right in the eyes of the LORD.
Na caak pawt daengah ni BOEIPA mikhmuh ah a thuem la a saii vetih namah neh namah hnukkah na ca rhoek loh khophoeng a pha eh.
26 But you are to take your holy things and your vow offerings and go to the place the LORD will choose.
Tedae namah taengkah aka om hnocim neh na olcaeng tah khuen lamtah BOEIPA kah a coelh hmuen te mah paan puei.
27 Present the meat and blood of your burnt offerings on the altar of the LORD your God. The blood of your other sacrifices must be poured out beside the altar of the LORD your God, but you may eat the meat.
Na hmueihhlutnah maeh neh thii te BOEIPA na Pathen kah hmueihtuk soah nawn. Tedae na hmueih thii te BOEIPA na Pathen kah hmueihtuk dongah hawk lamtah a saa tah ca mai.
28 Be careful to obey all these things I command you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of the LORD your God.
Kai loh nang kang uen olka boeih he ngaithuen lamtah hnatun. Te daengah ni BOEIPA na Pathen kah mikhmuh ah a thuem neh a then la na saii vetih namah neh na hnukkah na ca rhoek long khaw kumhal duela khophoeng a pha eh.
29 When the LORD your God cuts off before you the nations you are entering to dispossess, and you drive them out and live in their land,
Namtom haek ham na paan vaengah BOEIPA na Pathen loh na mikhmuh lamkah a tulnoi coeng. Te dongah ni amih te na haek tih a khohmuen ah kho na sak.
30 be careful not to be ensnared by their ways after they have been destroyed before you. Do not inquire about their gods, asking, “How do these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.”
Namah te ngaithuen, na mikhmuh lamkah amih a mitmoeng sak phoeiah amih hnukah n'hlaeh ve. Te dongah, “Namtom rhoek loh a pathen taengah metlam a tho a thueng uh, kai long khaw ka saii van mako?,” aka ti hamla amih kah pathen kawng te na toem ve.
31 You must not worship the LORD your God in this way, because they practice for their gods every abomination which the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.
BOEIPA kah a tueilaehkoi boeih te tah BOEIPA na Pathen taengah saii boeh. A pathen taengah hmai neh a canu a capa a hoeh uh tih a pathen ham a saii uh te a hmuhuet.
32 See that you do everything I command you; do not add to it or subtract from it.
Kai loh nang kang uen olka boeih he na saii tih na thap pawt ham neh na yueh pawt hamla ngaithuen.
