< Daniel 12 >
1 “At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress, the likes of which will not have occurred from the beginning of nations until that time. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.
“Saa bere no, Mikael, ɔhene babarima titiriw a ɔbɔ wo nkurɔfo ho ban no bɛsɔre. Ahohia bere bi bɛba a, efi aman no mfiase besi saa da no, biribi a ɛte saa nsii da. Nanso saa bere no, wo nkurɔfo no mu biara a wobehu sɛ wɔakyerɛw ne din wɔ nhoma no mu no, wobegye no nkwa.
2 And many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt.
Nnipadɔm a wɔadeda fam wɔ dɔte mu no benyan: ebinom bɛkɔ daa nkwa mu, na ebinom nso akɔ aniwu ne daa ahohora mu.
3 Then the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.
Wɔn a wɔyɛ anyansafo no bɛhyerɛn te sɛnea ɔsoro hyerɛn, na wɔn a wɔdan afoforo kɔɔ trenee mu no bɛhyerɛn sɛ nsoromma, daapem.
4 But you, Daniel, shut up these words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam to and fro, and knowledge will increase.”
Nanso wo Daniel, bobɔw na sɔw nsɛm a ɛwɔ nhoma mmobɔwee no ano kosi awiei bere no. Bebree bekyinkyin akɔpɛ nimdeɛ.”
5 Then I, Daniel, looked and saw two others standing there, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank.
Afei, me Daniel, mehwɛ huu nnipa baanu bi wɔ mʼanim; ɔbaako gyina asubɔnten no konkɔn so, na ɔbaako nso gyina konkɔn a ɛhwɛ baako no anim no so.
6 One of them said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long until the fulfillment of these wonders?”
Wɔn mu baako bisaa ɔbarima a ofura nwera a ogyina asu no so no se, “Ebedi nnaahe ansa na anwonwade yi aba mu?”
7 And the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by Him who lives forever, saying, “It will be for a time, and times, and half a time. When the power of the holy people has finally been shattered, all these things will be completed.”
Ɔbarima no a ofura nwera na ɔwɔ asu no so no maa ne nsa nifa ne benkum so kyerɛɛ ɔsoro, na metee sɛ ɔde nea ɔte hɔ daa no kaa ntam se, “Ɛbɛkɔ so saa ara akosi bere bi, mmere bi ne bere sin bi. Sɛ nnipa kronkron no tumisɛe no ba awiei koraa a, wobewie saa nneɛma yi nyinaa.”
8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”
Metee, nanso mante ase. Enti mibisae se, “Me Wura dɛn na ebefi eyinom nyinaa mu aba?”
9 “Go on your way, Daniel,” he replied, “for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.
Na obuae se, “Daniel kɔ, efisɛ wɔabobɔ nsɛm no so, asɔw ano de akosi awiei mmere no.
10 Many will be purified, made spotless, and refined, but the wicked will continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.
Wɔbɛhohoro bebree ho a fi ne nkekae biara renka wɔn ho, nanso atirimɔdenfo bɛkɔ so ayɛ atirimɔden; wɔn mu biara rente ase, nanso anyansafo de wɔbɛte ase.
11 And from the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation set up, there will be 1,290 days.
“Efi da a wɔbɛbra daa afɔrebɔ na wɔde akyiwade a ɔsɛe nam ne so bɛba abesi hɔ no bɛyɛ nnafua apem ahannu aduɔkron.
12 Blessed is he who waits and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
Nhyira ne nea ɔtwɛn kosi nnafua apem ahaasa aduasa anum awiei no.
13 But as for you, go on your way until the end. You will rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”
“Wo Daniel de, tintim kodu awiei. Wobɛhome, na nna no awiei no, wobɛsɔre na woakogye wo kyɛfa a ɛwɔ agyapade no mu.”
