Colossians 2
1 For I want you to know how much I am struggling for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me face to face,
யுஷ்மாகம்’ லாயதி³கேயாஸ்த²ப்⁴ராத்ரு’ணாஞ்ச க்ரு’தே யாவந்தோ ப்⁴ராதரஸ்²ச மம ஸா²ரீரிகமுக²ம்’ ந த்³ரு’ஷ்டவந்தஸ்தேஷாம்’ க்ரு’தே மம கியாந் யத்நோ ப⁴வதி தத்³ யுஷ்மாந் ஜ்ஞாபயிதும் இச்சா²மி|
2 that they may be encouraged in heart, knit together in love, and filled with the full riches of complete understanding, so that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ,
ப²லத: பூர்ணபு³த்³தி⁴ரூபத⁴நபோ⁴கா³ய ப்ரேம்நா ஸம்’யுக்தாநாம்’ தேஷாம்’ மநாம்’ஸி யத் பிதுரீஸ்²வரஸ்ய க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ச நிகூ³ட⁴வாக்யஸ்ய ஜ்ஞாநார்த²ம்’ ஸாந்த்வநாம்’ ப்ராப்நுயுரித்யர்த²மஹம்’ யதே|
3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
யதோ வித்³யாஜ்ஞாநயோ: ஸர்வ்வே நித⁴ய: க்²ரீஷ்டே கு³ப்தா: ஸந்தி|
4 I say this so that no one will deceive you by smooth rhetoric.
கோ(அ)பி யுஷ்மாந் விநயவாக்யேந யந்ந வஞ்சயேத் தத³ர்த²ம் ஏதாநி மயா கத்²யந்தே|
5 For although I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit, and I delight to see your orderly condition and firm faith in Christ.
யுஷ்மத்ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ மம ஸ²ரீரே(அ)வர்த்தமாநே(அ)பி மமாத்மா வர்த்ததே தேந யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸுரீதிம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டவிஸ்²வாஸே ஸ்தி²ரத்வஞ்ச த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வாஹம் ஆநந்தா³மி|
6 Therefore, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in Him,
அதோ யூயம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ம்’ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டம்’ யாத்³ரு’க்³ க்³ரு’ஹீதவந்தஸ்தாத்³ரு’க் தம் அநுசரத|
7 rooted and built up in Him, established in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
தஸ்மிந் ப³த்³த⁴மூலா: ஸ்தா²பிதாஸ்²ச ப⁴வத யா ச ஸி²க்ஷா யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்லப்³தா⁴ தத³நுஸாராத்³ விஸ்²வாஸே ஸுஸ்தி²ரா: ஸந்தஸ்தேநைவ நித்யம்’ த⁴ந்யவாத³ம்’ குருத|
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ.
ஸாவதா⁴நா ப⁴வத மாநுஷிகஸி²க்ஷாத இஹலோகஸ்ய வர்ணமாலாதஸ்²சோத்பந்நா க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய விபக்ஷா யா த³ர்ஸ²நவித்³யா மித்²யாப்ரதாரணா ச தயா கோ(அ)பி யுஷ்மாகம்’ க்ஷதிம்’ ந ஜநயது|
9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity dwells in bodily form.
யத ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய க்ரு’த்ஸ்நா பூர்ணதா மூர்த்திமதீ க்²ரீஷ்டே வஸதி|
10 And you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
யூயஞ்ச தேந பூர்ணா ப⁴வத² யத: ஸ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ராஜத்வகர்த்த்ரு’த்வபதா³நாம்’ மூர்த்³தா⁴ஸ்தி,
11 In Him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of your sinful nature, with the circumcision performed by Christ and not by human hands.
தேந ச யூயம் அஹஸ்தக்ரு’தத்வக்சே²தே³நார்த²தோ யேந ஸா²ரீரபாபாநாம்’ விக்³ரஸத்யஜ்யதே தேந க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய த்வக்சே²தே³ந சி²ந்நத்வசோ ஜாதா
12 And having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.
மஜ்ஜநே ச தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ஸ்²மஸா²நம்’ ப்ராப்தா: புந ர்ம்ரு’தாநாம்’ மத்⁴யாத் தஸ்யோத்தா²பயிதுரீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸ²க்தே: ப²லம்’ யோ விஸ்²வாஸஸ்தத்³வாரா தஸ்மிந்நேவ மஜ்ஜநே தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் உத்தா²பிதா அப⁴வத|
13 When you were dead in your trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our trespasses,
ஸ ச யுஷ்மாந் அபராதை⁴: ஸா²ரீரிகாத்வக்சே²தே³ந ச ம்ரு’தாந் த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ஜீவிதவாந் யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸர்வ்வாந் அபராதா⁴ந் க்ஷமிதவாந்,
14 having canceled the debt ascribed to us in the decrees that stood against us. He took it away, nailing it to the cross!
யச்ச த³ண்டா³ஜ்ஞாரூபம்’ ரு’ணபத்ரம் அஸ்மாகம்’ விருத்³த⁴ம் ஆஸீத் தத் ப்ரமார்ஜ்ஜிதவாந் ஸ²லாகாபி⁴: க்ருஸே² ப³த்³த்⁴வா தூ³ரீக்ரு’தவாம்’ஸ்²ச|
15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
கிஞ்ச தேந ராஜத்வகர்த்த்ரு’த்வபதா³நி நிஸ்தேஜாம்’ஸி க்ரு’த்வா பராஜிதாந் ரிபூநிவ ப்ரக³ல்ப⁴தயா ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டிகோ³சரே ஹ்ரேபிதவாந்|
16 Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath.
அதோ ஹேதோ: கா²த்³யாகா²த்³யே பேயாபேயே உத்ஸவ: ப்ரதிபத்³ விஸ்²ராமவாரஸ்²சைதேஷு ஸர்வ்வேஷு யுஷ்மாகம்’ ந்யாயாதி⁴பதிரூபம்’ கமபி மா க்³ரு’ஹ்லீத|
17 These are a shadow of the things to come, but the body that casts it belongs to Christ.
யத ஏதாநி சா²யாஸ்வரூபாணி கிந்து ஸத்யா மூர்த்தி: க்²ரீஷ்ட: |
18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you with speculation about what he has seen. Such a person is puffed up without basis by his unspiritual mind.
அபரஞ்ச நம்ரதா ஸ்வர்க³தூ³தாநாம்’ ஸேவா சைதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம் இஷ்டகர்ம்மாசரந் ய: கஸ்²சித் பரோக்ஷவிஷயாந் ப்ரவிஸ²தி ஸ்வகீயஸா²ரீரிகபா⁴வேந ச முதா⁴ க³ர்வ்வித: ஸந்
19 He has lost connection to the head, from whom the whole body, supported and knit together by its joints and ligaments, grows as God causes it to grow.
ஸந்தி⁴பி⁴: ஸி²ராபி⁴ஸ்²சோபக்ரு’தம்’ ஸம்’யுக்தஞ்ச க்ரு’த்ஸ்நம்’ ஸ²ரீரம்’ யஸ்மாத் மூர்த்³த⁴த ஈஸ்²வரீயவ்ரு’த்³தி⁴ம்’ ப்ராப்நோதி தம்’ மூர்த்³தா⁴நம்’ ந தா⁴ரயதி தேந மாநவேந யுஷ்மத்த: ப²லாபஹரணம்’ நாநுஜாநீத|
20 If you have died with Christ to the spiritual forces of the world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its regulations:
யதி³ யூயம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ஸம்’ஸாரஸ்ய வர்ணமாலாயை ம்ரு’தா அப⁴வத தர்ஹி யை ர்த்³ரவ்யை ர்போ⁴கே³ந க்ஷயம்’ க³ந்தவ்யம்’
21 “Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!”?
தாநி மா ஸ்ப்ரு’ஸ² மா பு⁴ம்’க்ஷ்வ மா க்³ரு’ஹாணேதி மாநவைராதி³ஷ்டாந் ஸி²க்ஷிதாம்’ஸ்²ச விதீ⁴ந்
22 These will all perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings.
ஆசரந்தோ யூயம்’ குத: ஸம்’ஸாரே ஜீவந்த இவ ப⁴வத²?
23 Such restrictions indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-prescribed worship, their false humility, and their harsh treatment of the body; but they are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.
தே வித⁴ய: ஸ்வேச்சா²ப⁴க்த்யா நம்ரதயா ஸ²ரீரக்லேஸ²நேந ச ஜ்ஞாநவிதி⁴வத் ப்ரகாஸ²ந்தே ததா²பி தே(அ)க³ண்யா: ஸா²ரீரிகபா⁴வவர்த்³த⁴காஸ்²ச ஸந்தி|
