Acts 9
1 Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the disciples of the Lord. He approached the high priest
၁ဤအတောအတွင်း၌ရှောလုသည် သခင် ဘုရား၏တပည့်တော်တို့အားသတ်ဖြတ်ရန် ခြိမ်းခြောက်လျက်နေ၏။ သူသည်ယဇ်ပုရော ဟိတ်မင်းထံသို့သွားပြီးလျှင်၊-
2 and requested letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any men or women belonging to the Way, he could bring them as prisoners to Jerusalem.
၂သခင်ဘုရား၏လမ်းစဉ်တော်ကိုလိုက်လျှောက် သောသူ အမျိုးသားအမျိုးသမီးတို့ကိုတွေ့ ရှိပါက ထိုသူတို့ကိုဖမ်းဆီး၍ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ခေါ်ဆောင်လာနိုင်ရန် မိမိအားအာဏာ အပ်နှင်းကြောင်းဒမာသက်မြို့ရှိဇရပ်များ သို့အမှာစာများရေးပေးပါရန်ပန်ကြား လျှောက်ထား၏။
3 As Saul drew near to Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.
၃သူသည်ခရီးပြု၍ဒမာသက်မြို့အနီး သို့ရောက်လာသောအခါ၌ မိုးကောင်းကင်မှ အလင်းရောင်ခြည်တစ်ခုသည်သူ၏ပတ် လည်တွင်ရုတ်တရက်ထွန်းတောက်လာ၏။-
4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?”
၄သူသည်မြေပေါ်သို့လဲကျသွားပြီးနောက် ``ရှောလု၊ ရှောလု၊ သင်သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ငါ့ ကိုနှိပ်စက်ညှဉ်းဆဲသနည်း'' ဟုမေးမြန်းသံ ကိုကြားရ၏။
5 “Who are You, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” He replied.
၅ရှောလုက ``အရှင်၊ အရှင်သည်မည်သူဖြစ် ပါသနည်း'' ဟုမေးလျှောက်၏။ ထိုအသံ က ``ငါကားသင်နှိပ်စက်ညှဉ်းဆဲနေသူ ယေရှုပင်တည်း။-
6 “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
၆သို့သော်သင်သည်ထ၍မြို့ထဲသို့ဝင်လော့။ သင်ပြုရမည့်အမှုကိုထိုအရပ်တွင်သိရှိ ရလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
7 The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless. They heard the voice but did not see anyone.
၇ရှောလုနှင့်အတူခရီးပြုလျက်နေကြသူ တို့သည် ထိုအသံကိုကြားရသော်လည်း လူ တစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်ကိုမျှမတွေ့မမြင်ရ သဖြင့်ကြက်သေသေလျက်ရပ်နေကြ၏။-
8 Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could not see a thing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus.
၈ရှောလုသည်မြေပေါ်မှထ၍မျက်စိကိုဖွင့် လိုက်သောအခါ အဘယ်အရာကိုမျှမမြင် ရတော့ချေ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ထိုသူတို့သည်သူ့ လက်ကိုဆွဲ၍ဒမာသက်မြို့ထဲသို့ခေါ် ဆောင်သွားကြ၏။-
9 For three days he was without sight, and he did not eat or drink anything.
၉သူသည်သုံးရက်တိုင်တိုင်မျက်စိအလင်း ကွယ်လျက်နေ၏။ ထိုသုံးရက်အတွင်းမစား မသောက်ဘဲနေ၏။
10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord spoke to him in a vision, “Ananias!” “Here I am, Lord,” he answered.
၁၀ဒမာသက်မြို့တွင်အာနနိနာမည်ရှိသူ တပည့်တော်တစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။ ဗျာဒိတ်ရူပါ ရုံထဲတွင်သခင်ဘုရားကအာနနိအား ``အာနနိ'' ဟုခေါ်တော်မူလျှင်၊ အာနနိက ``ရှိပါသည်သခင်ဘုရား'' ဟု လျှောက်၏။
11 “Get up!” the Lord told him. “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying.
၁၁သခင်ဘုရားကလည်း ``သင်သည်ထ၍လမ်း ဖြောင့်အမည်တွင်သောလမ်းသို့သွားလော့။ တာရှု မြို့သားရှောလုဆိုသူကို ယုဒ၏အိမ်တွင်စုံ စမ်းမေးမြန်းလော့။ သူသည်ဆုတောင်းလျက် နေ၏။-
12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”
၁၂သူသည်မျက်စိအလင်းပြန်လည်ရရှိနိုင် ရန် အာနနိဆိုသူလာ၍မိမိအပေါ်မှာ လက်တင်သည်ကိုဗျာဒိတ်ရူပါရုံတွင်မြင် ရလေပြီ'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
13 But Ananias answered, “Lord, many people have told me about this man and all the harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem.
၁၃အာနနိက ``သခင်ဘုရား၊ ဤသူသည်ယေရု ရှလင်မြို့ရှိကိုယ်တော်၏လူစုတော်အားမည် မျှဒုက္ခပေးခဲ့သည်ကို လူအမြောက်မြားထံ မှအကျွန်ုပ်ကြားသိရပါ၏။-
14 And now he is here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on Your name.”
၁၄ထို့ပြင်ကိုယ်တော်အားပတ္ထနာပြုသူမှန်သမျှ ကိုလည်း ဖမ်းဆီးရန်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ကြီးတို့ ထံမှအခွင့်အာဏာရရှိထားသူဖြစ်ပါ၏'' ဟုလျှောက်၏။
15 “Go!” said the Lord. “This man is My chosen instrument to carry My name before the Gentiles and their kings, and before the people of Israel.
၁၅သို့ရာတွင်သခင်ဘုရားက ``သွားလော့။ ဤ သူကားလူမျိုးခြားများ၊ ရှင်ဘုရင်များနှင့် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အား ငါ၏အကြောင်း ကိုဟောပြောကြေညာရန်ငါရွေးချယ်ထား သူဖြစ်၏။-
16 I will show him how much he must suffer for My name.”
၁၆ငါ၏နာမတော်အတွက်ကြောင့်သူခံရမည့် ဒုက္ခဆင်းရဲအကြောင်းကို သူ့အားငါကိုယ် တိုင်ဖော်ပြမည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
17 So Ananias went to the house, and when he arrived, he placed his hands on Saul. “Brother Saul,” he said, “the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here, has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
၁၇ထို့ကြောင့်အာနနိသည်ရှောလုရှိသည့်အိမ် သို့သွား၍ ရှောလု၏အပေါ်မှာလက်ကိုတင် ပြီးလျှင် ``ငါ့ညီ၊ သင်သည်မျက်စိအလင်းကို ပြန်လည်ရရှိစေရန်လည်းကောင်း၊ သန့်ရှင်း သောဝိညာဉ်တော်ဖြင့်ပြည့်ဝလာစေရန်လည်း ကောင်း၊ လမ်းခရီးတွင်သင့်အားထင်ရှားတော် မူသောသခင်ယေရှုသည် ငါ့အားသင့်ထံသို့ စေလွှတ်တော်မူလိုက်၏'' ဟုဆို၏။-
18 At that instant, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and his sight was restored. He got up and was baptized,
၁၈ထိုအခါချက်ချင်းပင်ရှောလုသည်မျက်စိမှ အကြေးများကွာကျသကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ပြီးလျှင် မျက်စိအလင်းကိုပြန်လည်ရရှိ၏။ သူသည် ထ၍ဗတ္တိဇံမင်္ဂလာကိုခံလေသည်။-
19 and after taking some food, he regained his strength. And he spent several days with the disciples in Damascus.
၁၉ထိုနောက်အစားအစာသုံးဆောင်ပြီးသော အခါခွန်အားပြည့်လာ၏။ ရှောလုသည်ဒမာသက်မြို့တွင် တပည့်တော် တို့နှင့်အတူရက်အနည်းငယ်နေ၏။-
20 Saul promptly began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, declaring, “He is the Son of God.”
၂၀တရားဇရပ်များသို့ချက်ချင်းသွားရောက် ၍ သခင်ယေရှုသည်ဘုရားသခင်၏သား တော်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းဟောပြောလေ၏။
21 All who heard him were astounded and asked, “Isn’t this the man who wreaked havoc in Jerusalem on those who call on this name? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?”
၂၁သူ၏စကားကိုကြားသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် လွန်စွာအံ့သြကြလျက် ``ဤသူသည်ထို သခင်ကိုပတ္ထနာပြုသူဟူသမျှကိုယေရု ရှလင်မြို့တွင်သတ်ဖြတ်ခဲ့သူမဟုတ်ပါလော။ ထိုသူတို့ကိုဖမ်းဆီး၍ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ကြီး များထံခေါ်ဆောင်သွားရန်လာရောက်သူ မဟုတ်ပါလော'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
22 But Saul was empowered all the more, and he confounded the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ.
၂၂သို့သော်ရှောလုကသခင်ယေရှုသည်မေရှိယ ဖြစ်တော်မူကြောင်းကို ပိုင်ပိုင်နိုင်နိုင်သက်သေပြ ၍ဟောပြောရာ ဒမာသက်မြို့ရှိယုဒအမျိုး သားတို့ပြန်လည်၍မချေပနိုင်ကြပေ။
23 After many days had passed, the Jews conspired to kill him,
၂၃ထိုနောက်ရက်ပေါင်းများစွာကြာသောအခါ ယုဒအမျိုးသားတို့သည်ရှောလုကိုသတ် ရန်လျှို့ဝှက်ကြံစည်ကြ၏။-
24 but Saul learned of their plot. Day and night they watched the city gates in order to kill him.
၂၄သို့ရာတွင်သူတို့၏အကြံအစည်ကိုရှောလု သိသွား၏။ သူတို့သည်ရှောလုကိုသတ်ရန် နေ့ ရောညဥ့်ပါမြို့တံခါးများတွင်စောင့်နေ ကြ၏။-
25 One night, however, his disciples took him and lowered him in a basket through a window in the wall.
၂၅သို့ရာတွင်ရှောလု၏တပည့်တို့သည်ညဥ့်အခါ သူ့ကိုတောင်းတွင်ထည့်၍မြို့ရိုးမှအောက်သို့ လျှောချကြ၏။
26 When Saul arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
၂၆သူသည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ရောက်သောအခါ တပည့်တော်တို့နှင့်ပေါင်းဖော်ရန်ကြိုးစား၏။ သို့သော်လည်းသူသည်တပည့်တော်တစ်ဦး ဖြစ်လာကြောင်းကို တပည့်တော်အပေါင်းတို့ သည်မယုံသဖြင့်သူ့ကိုကြောက်ကြ၏။-
27 Then Barnabas brought him to the apostles and described how Saul had seen the Lord, who spoke to him on the road to Damascus, and how Saul had spoken boldly in that city in the name of Jesus.
၂၇ထိုအခါဗာနဗသည်ရှောလုကိုတမန်တော် တို့ထံသို့ခေါ်ခဲ့ပြီးလျှင် လမ်းခရီးတွင်သခင် ဘုရားအားရှောလုဖူးမြင်ခဲ့ရပုံကိုလည်း ကောင်း၊ သခင်ဘုရားကရှောလုအားမည်သို့ အမိန့်ရှိခဲ့ပုံကိုလည်းကောင်း ဒမာသက်မြို့ တွင်သခင်ယေရှု၏နာမတော်ကိုအမှီပြု၍ ရှောလုရဲရင့်စွာဟောပြောခဲ့ပုံကိုလည်း ကောင်းပြောပြလေသည်။-
28 So Saul stayed with them, moving about freely in Jerusalem and speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.
၂၈ရှောလုသည်လည်းတမန်တော်တို့နှင့်အတူ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့တွင်သွားလာလှုပ်ရှားလျက် သခင်ဘုရား၏နာမတော်ကိုအမှီပြု၍ ရဲရင့်စွာဟောပြောလေသည်။-
29 He talked and debated with the Grecian Jews, but they tried to kill him.
၂၉သူသည်ဂရိဘာသာစကားကိုသုံးစွဲသူ ယုဒအမျိုးသားများနှင့်အချေအတင် ဆွေးနွေး၏။ သို့ရာတွင်ထိုသူတို့သည်သူ့ ကိုသတ်ရန်ကြံစည်အားထုတ်ကြ၏။-
30 When the brothers learned of this, they took him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.
၃၀ထိုအကြောင်းကိုညီအစ်ကိုတို့ကြားသိသော အခါ သူ့ကိုကဲသရိမြို့သို့ပို့ဆောင်ပြီးလျှင် ထိုမှတစ်ဖန်တာရှုမြို့သို့ထွက်ခွာသွားစေ ကြ၏။
31 Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced a time of peace. It grew in strength and numbers, living in the fear of the Lord and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit.
၃၁ထို့ကြောင့်ထိုကာလ၌ယုဒပြည်၊ ဂါလိလဲ ပြည်နှင့်ရှမာရိပြည်အရပ်ရပ်တို့တွင်အသင်း တော်သည်အေးချမ်းစွာနေရလေသည်။ အသင်း တော်သည်သခင်ဘုရားအားကြောက်ရွံ့ရိုသေ သောစိတ်ဖြင့် သက်ရှင်လှုပ်ရှားလျက်သန့်ရှင်း သောဝိညာဉ်တော်၏ကူညီအားပေးမှုဖြင့် တည်တံ့ခိုင်မြဲကာအသင်းသားအရေ အတွက်တိုးတက်များပြားလာလေသည်။
32 As Peter traveled throughout the area, he went to visit the saints in Lydda.
၃၂ပေတရုသည်အရပ်ရပ်သို့လှည့်လည်သွား လာ၏။ အခါတစ်ပါး၌လုဒ္ဒမြို့ရှိဘုရား သခင်၏လူစုတော်ထံသို့ရောက်ရှိလာ၏။-
33 There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been paralyzed and bedridden for eight years.
၃၃ထိုမြို့တွင်လေဖြတ်သဖြင့်ရှစ်နှစ်ပတ်လုံး အိပ်ရာပေါ်မှာတုံးလုံးလဲနေသူအဲနေ နာမည်ရှိသောလူတစ်ယောက်ကိုတွေ့၏။-
34 “Aeneas,” Peter said to him, “Jesus Christ heals you! Get up and put away your mat.” Immediately Aeneas got up,
၃၄သူ့အားပေတရုက ``အဲနေ၊ ယေရှုခရစ်သည် သင့်ကိုကျန်းမာစေတော်မူပြီ။ ထ၍အိပ်ရာ ကိုပြင်လော့'' ဟုဆို၏။ အဲနေသည်ချက်ချင်း ပင်ထ၏။-
35 and all who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.
၃၅လုဒ္ဒမြို့နှင့်ရှာရုန်လွင်ပြင်တွင်နေထိုင်သူလူ အပေါင်းတို့သည်သူ့ကိုတွေ့မြင်၍ သခင် ဘုရားထံတော်သို့ပြောင်းလဲလာကြ၏။
36 In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which is translated as Dorcas), who was always occupied with works of kindness and charity.
၃၆ယုပ္ပေမြို့တွင်တဗိသနာမည်ရှိသောတပည့် တော်မတစ်ဦးရှိ၏။ (သူ၏နာမည်မှာဂရိ စကားအားဖြင့်ဒေါ်ကာဖြစ်၍ ``ဒရယ်'' ဟု အနက်ရလေသည်။) သူသည်ကောင်းမှုနှင့် စွန့်ကြဲပေးကမ်းမှုကိုအစဉ်သဖြင့်ပြု တတ်၏။-
37 At that time, however, she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upper room.
၃၇သူသည်ဖျားနာ၍သေလေ၏။ သူ၏အလောင်း ကိုရေချိုးပေးကြပြီးသော်အိမ်၏အထက် ခန်းတွင်ပြင်ထားကြ၏။-
38 Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples heard that Peter was there and sent two men to urge him, “Come to us without delay.”
၃၈လုဒ္ဒမြို့သည်ယုပ္ပေမြို့အနီးတွင်ရှိသဖြင့်ထို မြို့တွင်ပေတရုရှိကြောင်း တပည့်တော်တို့ကြား သိကြသောအခါ ``အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ထံသို့အလျင် အမြန်ကြွလာတော်မူပါ'' ဟူသောပန်ကြား ချက်ဖြင့်လူနှစ်ယောက်ကိုပေတရုထံသို့စေ လွှတ်လိုက်ကြ၏။-
39 So Peter got up and went with them. On his arrival, they took him to the upper room. All the widows stood around him, weeping and showing him the tunics and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them.
၃၉ထို့ကြောင့်ပေတရုသည်ထိုသူနှစ်ယောက်နှင့် အတူလိုက်ခဲ့လေသည်။ ရောက်သောအခါလူ တို့သည်သူ့အားအိမ်အထက်ထပ်ရှိအခန်း သို့ခေါ်သွားကြ၏။ မုဆိုးမတို့သည်ပေတရု ၏အနီးတွင်ဝိုင်းအုံလျက်ငိုယိုကာ ဒေါ်ကာ အသက်ရှင်စဉ်အခါကချုပ်လုပ်ထားခဲ့သော အင်္ကျီများနှင့်အတွင်းခံအင်္ကျီများကိုပြ ကြ၏။-
40 Then Peter sent them all out of the room. He knelt down and prayed, and turning toward her body, he said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up.
၄၀ပေတရုသည်ထိုသူအပေါင်းတို့ကိုအပြင် သို့ထွက်စေပြီးလျှင် ဒူးထောက်၍ဆုတောင်း ပတ္ထနာပြု၏။ ထိုနောက်ရုပ်အလောင်းဘက်သို့ လှည့်၍ ``တဗိသ၊ ထလော့'' ဟုဆို၏။ ဒေါ်ကာ သည်မျက်စိဖွင့်၍ပေတရုကိုမြင်သော အခါထထိုင်လေ၏။-
41 Peter took her by the hand and helped her up. Then he called the saints and widows and presented her to them alive.
၄၁ပေတရုသည်လက်ကိုကမ်းပေးပြီးလျှင်ထို အမျိုးသမီးကိုဆွဲထူလိုက်၏။ ထိုနောက် မုဆိုးမများအပါအဝင်ယုံကြည်သူများ ကိုခေါ်၍ အသက်ရှင်လျက်ရှိသောဒေါ်ကာ ကိုပေးအပ်၏။-
42 This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord.
၄၂ဤသတင်းသည်ယုပ္ပေတစ်မြို့လုံးတွင်ကျော် ကြားသွားသဖြင့် လူအမြောက်အမြားပင် သခင်ဘုရားကိုသက်ဝင်ယုံကြည်လာ ကြ၏။-
43 And Peter stayed for several days in Joppa with a tanner named Simon.
၄၃ပေတရုသည်ယုပ္ပေမြို့တွင်ရှိမုန်နာမည်ရှိသူ သားရေနယ်သမားနှင့်အတူရက်ပေါင်းများ စွာနေထိုင်လေသည်။
