Acts 6
1 In those days when the disciples were increasing in number, the Grecian Jews among them began to grumble against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food.

2 So the Twelve summoned all the disciples and said, “It is unacceptable for us to neglect the word of God in order to wait on tables.
Boye, bantoma zomi na mibale basangisaki bayekoli nyonso mpe balobaki na bango: — Ekozala malamu te mpo na biso kotika mosala ya koteya Liloba na Nzambe mpo na komipesa na mosala ya kokabola bilei.
3 Therefore, brothers, select from among you seven men confirmed to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will appoint this responsibility to them
Yango wana bandeko, bopona mibali sambo kati na bino, oyo bayebana na bizaleli na bango ya malamu, oyo batonda na Molimo Mosantu mpe na bwanya mpo ete topesa bango mokumba yango.
4 and will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
Boye, biso tokomipesa na mabondeli mpe na mosala ya koteya Liloba na Nzambe.
5 This proposal pleased the whole group. They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, as well as Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas from Antioch, a convert to Judaism.
Likanisi yango esepelisaki lisanga mobimba. Boye, baponaki Etieni, moto oyo atonda na kondima mpe na Molimo Mosantu; Filipo, Prokore, Nikanori, Timoni, Parimenasi mpe Nikola, moto ya Antioshe, oyo akotaki na lingomba ya Bayuda.
6 They presented these seven to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.
Balakisaki bango epai ya Bantoma; Bantoma basambelaki mpo na bango mpe batiaki bango maboko.
7 So the word of God continued to spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem grew rapidly, and a great number of priests became obedient to the faith.
Boye, Liloba na Nzambe ezalaki kokoba kopanzana, motango ya bayekoli ezalaki mpe kobakisama makasi na Yelusalemi mpe Banganga-Nzambe ebele bakomaki kondimela Yesu.
8 Now Stephen, who was full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and signs among the people.
Nzokande, Etieni, moto oyo atondaki na ngolu mpe na nguya ya Nzambe, azalaki kosala bikamwa mpe bilembo minene kati na bato.
9 But resistance arose from what was called the Synagogue of the Freedmen, including Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and men from the provinces of Cilicia and Asia. They began to argue with Stephen,
Bongo bato mosusu ya ndako ya mayangani oyo ebengamaka Ndako ya mayangani ya bansomi: Bayuda ya Sirene, ya Alekizandri, ya bituka ya Silisi mpe ya Azia; bakomaki kotia tembe na miso ya Etieni.
10 but they could not stand up to his wisdom or the Spirit by whom he spoke.
Kasi bazangaki makoki ya kotelemela bwanya mpe Molimo oyo azalaki kotinda ye koloba.
11 Then they prompted some men to say, “We heard Stephen speak words of blasphemy against Moses and against God.”
Bongo, bapesaki kanyaka epai ya bato mpo ete baloba: « Toyokaki Etieni koloba maloba ya kofinga Moyize mpe Nzambe. »
12 So they stirred up the people, elders, and scribes and confronted Stephen. They seized him and brought him before the Sanhedrin,
Batombokisaki bato, bakambi mpe balakisi ya Mobeko. Boye, bayaki kokanga Etieni na mbalakata mpe bamemaki ye na Likita-Monene.
13 where they presented false witnesses who said, “This man never stops speaking against this holy place and against the law.
Kuna, babimisaki batatoli ya lokuta oyo balobaki: — Moto oyo azali kotika te koloba mabe mpo na kobebisa lokumu ya esika oyo ya bule mpe ya mibeko;
14 For we have heard him say that Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs that Moses handed down to us.”
pamba te toyokaki ye koloba ete Yesu ya Nazareti akobuka Tempelo oyo mpe akobongola bizaleli oyo Moyize atikela biso.
15 All who were sitting in the Sanhedrin looked intently at Stephen, and they saw that his face was like the face of an angel.
Bato nyonso oyo bavandaki na Likita-Monene batalaki Etieni malamu penza, mpe bamonaki ete elongi na ye ekomaki lokola elongi ya anjelu.
