Acts 24
1 Five days later the high priest Ananias came down with some elders and a lawyer named Tertullus, who presented to the governor their case against Paul.
၁နောက်ငါးရက်ကြာသောအခါယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် မင်းအာနနိသည် ဘာသာရေးခေါင်းဆောင်အချို့ တို့လိုက်ပါလျက် တေရတုလုနာမည်ရှိသော ရှေ့နေနှင့်အတူကဲသရိမြို့သို့ရောက်ရှိလာ၏။ ထိုသူတို့သည်ဘုရင်ခံဖေလဇ်၏ရှေ့တော်သို့ ဝင်၍ပေါလုအကြောင်းနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍စွဲချက် တင်ကြ၏။-
2 When Paul had been called in, Tertullus opened the prosecution: “Because of you, we have enjoyed a lasting peace, and your foresight has brought improvements to this nation.
၂ဘုရင်ခံမင်းသည်ပေါလုကိုရှေ့တော်သို့ခေါ် ယူပြီးသောအခါ ရှေ့နေတေရတုလုက ``အရှင် ဖေလဇ်မင်း၊ အရှင်၏အမြော်အမြင်ကြီးမှု ကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်အလွန်အေးချမ်းသာ ယာစွာနေထိုင်နိုင်ကြပါ၏။ အရှင်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏တိုင်းပြည်အကျိုးအတွက် လိုအပ်သောအသစ်ပြုပြင်ပြောင်းလဲမှု များကိုပြုလုပ်ပေးလျက်ရှိပါ၏။-
3 In every way and everywhere, most excellent Felix, we acknowledge this with all gratitude.
၃ဤဆောင်ရွက်ချက်များကိုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အရပ်တကာတွင် အခါခပ်သိမ်းအထူး ကျေးဇူးတင်စွာဖြင့်ကြိုဆိုကြပါ၏။-
4 But in order not to burden you any further, I beg your indulgence to hear us briefly.
၄အကျွန်ုပ်သည်အရှင်၏အချိန်ကိုများစွာ မယူလိုပါ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍အကျဉ်းချုပ်အားဖြင့် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့လျှောက်လဲသည်ကိုနားထောင် ပါရန်ပန်ကြားပါ၏။-
5 We have found this man to be a pestilence, stirring up dissension among the Jews all over the world. He is a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes,
၅ဤသူသည်အနှောင့်အယှက်အလွန်ပေးတတ် သူ၊ တိုင်းပြည်အတွက်အန္တရာယ်ရှိသူဖြစ်ကြောင်း အကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွေ့ရှိရပါသည်။ သူသည်ကမ္ဘာ အရပ်ရပ်ရှိယုဒအမျိုးသားအပေါင်းတို့ ကို ရုန်းရင်းဆန်ခတ်ဖြစ်အောင်လှုံ့ဆော်ပေး ပါ၏။ နာဇရက်ဂိုဏ်းသားတို့၏ခေါင်းဆောင် တစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်ပါ၏။-
6 and he even tried to desecrate the temple; so we seized him.
၆ဗိမာန်တော်ကိုလည်းညစ်ညမ်းစေရန်ကြိုးစား အားထုတ်သဖြင့် သူ့အားအကျွန်ုပ်တို့ဖမ်းဆီး ခဲ့ကြပါ၏။ (သူ့အားအကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်ပညတ် တရားအရစစ်ဆေးစီရင်ရန်အလိုရှိသော် လည်း၊-
၇တပ်မှူးလုသိသည်လာ၍အကျွန်ုပ်တို့လက် မှအတင်းအဋ္ဌမ္မခေါ်ယူသွားပါ၏။-
8 By examining him yourself, you will be able to learn the truth about all our charges against him.”
၈သူ့အားပြစ်တင်ပြောဆိုသူတို့ကိုလည်းအရှင် ၏ထံသို့လာကြရန်အမိန့်ပေးခဲ့ပါ၏။) အရှင်ကိုယ်တိုင်သူ့အားစစ်ဆေးမေးမြန်းကြည့် ပါလျှင်သူ့အားအကျွန်ုပ်တို့စွပ်စွဲသည့်အချက် အားလုံးကိုကြားသိရပါလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုလျှောက်၏။-
9 The Jews concurred, asserting that these charges were true.
၉ယုဒအမျိုးသားတို့ကလည်း ``ဤစကားများ သည်ဟုတ်မှန်ပါ၏'' ဟုဆိုကာပေါလုကိုဝိုင်း ၍စွပ်စွဲပြောဆိုကြလေသည်။
10 When the governor motioned for Paul to speak, he began his response: “Knowing that you have been a judge over this nation for many years, I gladly make my defense.
၁၀ဘုရင်ခံမင်းသည်လက်ရိပ်ပြ၍ပေါလုအား တင်လျှောက်ခွင့်ပြုသောအခါပေါလုက၊ ``အရှင်သည်ဤလူမျိုးအပေါ်၌နှစ်ပေါင်း များစွာ တရားစီရင်လျက်နေခဲ့သူဖြစ်ကြောင်း အကျွန်ုပ်သိပါ၏။ ထို့ကြောင့်အကျွန်ုပ်မှာအပြစ် မရှိကြောင်းကို အရှင်အားလျှောက်လဲရသည့် အတွက်ဝမ်းမြောက်ပါ၏။-
11 You can verify for yourself that no more than twelve days ago I went up to Jerusalem to worship.
၁၁အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ဘုရား သခင်ကို ဝတ်ပြုကိုးကွယ်ရန်သွားရောက်ခဲ့ သည်မှာတစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်ရက်မျှသာရှိပါသေး သည်။ ဤအချက်များကိုအရှင်စုံစမ်းသိ ရှိနိုင်ပါ၏။-
12 Yet my accusers did not find me debating with anyone in the temple or riling up a crowd in the synagogues or in the city.
၁၂ဗိမာန်တော်တွင်ဖြစ်စေ၊ တရားဇရပ်များ တွင်ဖြစ်စေ၊ မြို့ထဲတွင်ဖြစ်စေလူတို့ဆူပူ လှုပ်ရှားအောင် အကျွန်ုပ်လှုံ့ဆော်ပေးသည် ကိုယုဒအမျိုးသားတို့မတွေ့မရှိခဲ့ ကြပါ။-
13 Nor can they prove to you any of their charges against me.
၁၃ယခုအကျွန်ုပ်အားစွပ်စွဲပြောဆိုကြသည့် အချက်များကို သူတို့သည်သက်သေမပြ နိုင်ကြပါ။-
14 I do confess to you, however, that I worship the God of our fathers according to the Way, which they call a sect. I believe everything that is laid down by the Law and written in the Prophets,
၁၄သို့သော်လည်းထိုသူတို့ကလွဲမှားသည်ဟု ယူဆသည့်လမ်းစဉ်တော်အရ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ဘိုးဘေးများ၏ဘုရားသခင်ကိုကိုးကွယ် ကြောင်းကိုမူအရှင်အားဝန်ခံပါ၏။ သို့ရာ တွင်အကျွန်ုပ်သည်မောရှေ၏ပညတ်ကျမ်း နှင့်ပရောဖက်ကျမ်းများတွင်ဖော်ပြပါရှိ သမျှသောအရာတို့ကိုယုံကြည်ပါသည်။-
15 and I have the same hope in God that they themselves cherish, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.
၁၅အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ဘုရားသခင်ကိုအားကိုး မျှော်လင့်သူဖြစ်၍ လူဆိုးလူကောင်းမရွေး လူခပ်သိမ်းတို့သည် သေခြင်းမှရှင်ပြန် ထမြောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟုမျှော်လင့်ပါ၏။-
16 In this hope, I strive always to maintain a clear conscience before God and man.
၁၆သို့ဖြစ်၍အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့လူ တို့ရှေ့တွင် မိမိ၏သြတ္တပ္ပစိတ်ကြည်လင်မှုရှိ စေရန်အစဉ်အမြဲအစွမ်းကုန်ကြိုးစား အားထုတ်ပါ၏။
17 After several years, then, I returned to Jerusalem to bring alms to my people and to present offerings.
၁၇``အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မှထွက်ခွာ ၍နှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာကြာပြီးနောက် မိမိ၏ အမျိုးသားချင်းများအတွက်အလှူငွေ ယူဆောင်လာရန်အတွက်လည်းကောင်း၊ ဘုရား သခင်အားပူဇော်သကာဆက်သရန်အတွက် လည်းကောင်းပြန်လည်ရောက်ရှိလာပါ၏။-
18 At the time they found me in the temple, I was ceremonially clean and was not inciting a crowd or an uproar. But there are some Jews from the province of Asia
၁၈ဗိမာန်တော်ထဲတွင်အကျွန်ုပ်သည်သန့်စင် ခြင်းမင်္ဂလာကိုပြုပြီးနောက်ပူဇော်သကာ ဆက်သနေချိန်၌ ထိုသူတို့သည်အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုတွေ့မြင်ကြပါ၏။ ထိုအခါလူပရိ သတ်များမရှိပါ။ ရုန်းရင်းဆန်ခတ်လည်း မဖြစ်ပါ။-
19 who ought to appear before you and bring charges, if they have anything against me.
၁၉သို့ရာတွင်ထိုနေရာတွင်အာရှနယ်မှလာ သောယုဒအမျိုးသားအချို့ရှိပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ် အားစွပ်စွဲပြောဆိုစရာရှိလျှင်သူတို့ကိုယ် တိုင်ဤအရပ်သို့လာ၍၊-
20 Otherwise, let these men state for themselves any crime they found in me when I stood before the Sanhedrin,
၂၀အကျွန်ုပ်ကူးလွန်သောအပြစ်ကိုအရှင့်ထံ တွင်ဖော်ပြစွပ်စွဲသင့်ပါ၏။-
21 unless it was this one thing I called out as I stood in their presence: ‘It is concerning the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial before you today.’”
၂၁ထိုသို့မဟုတ်လျှင်လည်းအကျွန်ုပ်သည် တရားလွှတ်တော်အဖွဲ့ရှေ့တွင် ချေပလျှောက် လဲနေစဉ်အခါက `အကျွန်ုပ်သည်သူသေ တို့ရှင်ပြန်ထမြောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်ကိုမျှော် လင့်သူဖြစ်သဖြင့် ယနေ့သင်တို့ရှေ့တွင် အစစ်အဆေးခံနေရပါ၏' ဟူ၍ကြွေး ကြော်ခဲ့သည့်စကားရပ်မှတစ်ပါးအခြား အဘယ်ပြစ်မှုရှိကြောင်းဤသူတို့ဖော်ပြ ကြပါစေ'' ဟုလျှောက်လေ၏။
22 Then Felix, who was well informed about the Way, adjourned the hearing and said, “When Lysias the commander comes, I will decide your case.”
၂၂ဖေလဇ်သည်လမ်းစဉ်တော်အကြောင်းကို ကောင်းစွာသိရှိထားသူဖြစ်သဖြင့် အမှု စစ်ဆေးကြားနာမှုကိုထိုအချိန်၌ရပ် နားလိုက်၏။ သူက ``တပ်မှူးလုသိ ရောက်ရှိလာသောအခါမှသင်တို့အမှု ကိုငါစီရင်ချက်ချမှတ်မည်'' ဟုဆို၏။-
23 He ordered the centurion to keep Paul under guard, but to allow him some freedom and permit his friends to minister to his needs.
၂၃ပေါလုကိုအစောင့်အကြပ်နှင့်အကျယ်ချုပ် ထားကာ သူ၏မိတ်ဆွေသင်္ဂဟများလာရောက် ပြုစုသည်ကိုခွင့်ပြုရန်တပ်ခွဲမှူးအားအမိန့် ပေး၏။
24 After several days, Felix returned with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess. He sent for Paul and listened to him speak about faith in Christ Jesus.
၂၄ရက်အနည်းငယ်ကြာသောအခါဖေလဇ်သည် မိမိ၏ဇနီးဒြုသိလေနှင့်အတူလာရောက်၏။ ဒြုသိလေကားယုဒအမျိုးသမီးဖြစ်၏။ ဖေလဇ် သည်ပေါလုကိုအခေါ်ခိုင်းပြီးလျှင် ခရစ်တော် ယေရှုအားယုံကြည်ခြင်းနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ပေါလု ဟောပြောသောတရားစကားများကိုကြား နာလေသည်။-
25 As Paul expounded on righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said, “You may go for now. When I find the time, I will call for you.”
၂၅သို့ရာတွင်ပေါလုသည်ကောင်းမြတ်ခြင်း အကြောင်းနှင့် ကာမဂုဏ်ချုပ်တည်းခြင်း အကြောင်းကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ သက်ရောက်လတ္တံ့ သောတရားစီရင်တော်မူရာနေ့ရက် အကြောင်းကိုလည်းကောင်း ဟောပြောသော အခါဖေလဇ်သည်ကြောက်လန့်သဖြင့် ``ယခု သင်သွားနိုင်ပြီ။ နောင်အခွင့်ကြုံသည့်အခါ သင့်ကိုငါခေါ်ဦးမည်'' ဟုဆို၏။-
26 At the same time, he was hoping that Paul would offer him a bribe. So he sent for Paul frequently and talked with him.
၂၆ဖေလဇ်သည်မိမိအားပေါလုလာဘ်ထိုးလိမ့် မည်ဟုမျှော်လင့်ကာ သူ့အားမကြာမကြာ ခေါ်၍စကားပြောလေ၏။
27 After two years had passed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus. And wishing to do the Jews a favor, Felix left Paul in prison.
၂၇နောက်နှစ်နှစ်မျှကြာသော်ဖေလဇ်၏ဘုရင်ခံ ရာထူးကိုပေါကိဖေတ္တုဆက်ခံရ၏။ ဖေလဇ် သည်ယုဒအမျိုးသားတို့ထံမှမျက်နှာရ လိုသဖြင့် ပေါလုအားဆက်လက်၍အကျဉ်း ချထားခဲ့၏။
