< 2 Samuel 9 >
1 Then David asked, “Is there anyone left from the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for the sake of Jonathan?”
Davidi atunaki: « Ezali lisusu na moto moko ya libota ya Saulo oyo azali nanu na bomoi? Nazali na posa ya kotalisa ye bolamu mpo na Jonatan. »
2 And there was a servant of Saul’s family named Ziba. They summoned him to David, and the king inquired, “Are you Ziba?” “I am your servant,” he replied.
Nzokande, ezalaki na mosali moko ya ndako ya Saulo; kombo na ye « Tsiba. » Babengisaki ye mpo ete aya komimonisa liboso ya Davidi. Mpe mokonzi alobaki na ye: — Ezali yo Tsiba? Azongisaki: — Iyo, ezali ngai, mosali na yo.
3 So the king asked, “Is there anyone left of Saul’s family to whom I can show the kindness of God?” Ziba answered, “There is still Jonathan’s son, who is lame in both feet.”
Mokonzi atunaki ye: — Boni, ezali na moto moko te ya libota ya Saulo, oyo azali nanu na bomoi, oyo epai ya nani nakoki kotalisa bolamu ya Nzambe? Tsiba azongiselaki mokonzi: — Ezali na mwana mobali moko ya Jonatan, oyo azali nanu na bomoi. Azali na mbeba na makolo nyonso mibale.
4 “Where is he?” replied the king. And Ziba said, “Indeed, he is in Lo-debar at the house of Machir son of Ammiel.”
Mokonzi atunaki ye: — Azali wapi? Tsiba azongisaki: — Azali na ndako ya Makiri, mwana mobali ya Amieli, na mboka Lo-Debari.
5 So King David had him brought from the house of Machir son of Ammiel in Lo-debar.
Boye, mokonzi Davidi abengisaki ye wuta na Lo-Debari, na ndako ya Makiri, mwana mobali ya Amieli.
6 And when Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he fell facedown in reverence. Then David said, “Mephibosheth!” “I am your servant,” he replied.
Tango Mefibosheti, mwana mobali ya Jonatan, mwana mobali ya Saulo, ayaki epai ya Davidi, agumbamaki mpo na kopesa ye lokumu. Davidi alobaki: — Mefibosheti! Ye azongisaki: — Ngai oyo, mosali na yo.
7 “Do not be afraid,” said David, “for surely I will show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land of your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table.”
Davidi alobaki na ye: — Kobanga te! Pamba te nakotalisa yo solo bolamu mpo na tata na yo, Jonatan. Nakozongisela yo mabele nyonso ya koko na yo, Saulo, mpe okobanda kolia tango nyonso na mesa na ngai.
8 Mephibosheth bowed down and said, “What is your servant, that you should show regard for a dead dog like me?”
Mefibosheti agumbamaki mpe alobaki: — Mosali na yo azali nani mpo ete otala mbwa ya kokufa lokola ngai?
9 Then the king summoned Saul’s servant Ziba and said to him, “I have given to your master’s grandson all that belonged to Saul and to all his house.
Mokonzi abengisaki Tsiba, mosali ya Saulo, mpe alobaki na ye: — Napesi na mwana ya nkolo na yo biloko nyonso oyo ezalaki ya Saulo mpe ya libota na ye.
10 You and your sons and servants are to work the ground for him and bring in the harvest, so that your master’s grandson may have food to eat. But Mephibosheth, your master’s grandson, is always to eat at my table.” Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
Yo, bana na yo ya mibali mpe basali na yo, bokosala bilanga mpo na ye mpe bokomema bambuma oyo bokobuka mpo ete mwana ya nkolo na yo akoka kozwa biloko ya kolia. Mpe Mefibosheti, mwana ya nkolo na yo, akobanda kolia tango nyonso na mesa na ngai. Nzokande Tsiba azalaki na bana mibali zomi na mitano mpe basali tuku mibale.
11 And Ziba said to the king, “Your servant will do all that my lord the king has commanded.” So Mephibosheth ate at David’s table like one of the king’s own sons.
Tsiba alobaki na mokonzi: — Mosali na yo akosala makambo nyonso oyo mokonzi, nkolo na ngai, akotinda ye. Boye Mefibosheti aliaki na mesa ya Davidi lokola moko kati na bana mibali ya mokonzi.
12 And Mephibosheth had a young son named Mica, and all who dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants of Mephibosheth.
Mefibosheti azalaki na mwana mobali moko ya elenge; kombo na ye ezalaki « Mika. » Mpe bato nyonso ya libota ya Tsiba bazalaki basali ya Mefibosheti.
13 So Mephibosheth lived in Jerusalem, because he always ate at the king’s table, and he was lame in both feet.
Mefibosheti avandaki na Yelusalemi mpo ete azalaki kolia tango nyonso na mesa ya mokonzi.
