< 2 Kings 8 >

1 Now Elisha had said to the woman whose son he had restored to life, “Arise, you and your household; go and live as a foreigner wherever you can. For the LORD has decreed a seven-year famine, and it has already come to the land.”
Elize alobaki na mama ya mwana mobali oyo asekwisaki: « Kende elongo na libota na yo na esika oyo bokoki kovanda, pamba te Yawe abengi nzala makasi kati na mokili oyo; ekowumela mibu sambo. »
2 So the woman had proceeded to do as the man of God had instructed. And she and her household lived as foreigners for seven years in the land of the Philistines.
Mwasi asalaki ndenge moto na Nzambe alobaki. Ye elongo na libota na ye bakendeki mpe bavandaki mibu sambo na mokili ya Filisitia.
3 At the end of seven years, when the woman returned from the land of the Philistines, she went to the king to appeal for her house and her land.
Tango mibu yango sambo ekokaki, mwasi azongaki na mboka na ye wuta na mokili ya Filisitia; akendeki epai ya mokonzi mpo ete bazongisela ye ndako mpe mabele na ye.
4 Now the king had been speaking to Gehazi, the servant of the man of God, saying, “Please relate to me all the great things Elisha has done.”
Mokonzi azalaki kosolola na Geazi, mosali ya moto na Nzambe, mpe alobaki: « Yebisa ngai makambo minene nyonso oyo moto na Nzambe, Elize, asalaki. »
5 And Gehazi was telling the king how Elisha had brought the dead back to life. Just then the woman whose son Elisha had revived came to appeal to the king for her house and her land. So Gehazi said, “My lord the king, this is the woman, and this is the son Elisha restored to life.”
Wana Geazi azalaki koyebisa mokonzi ndenge nini Elize asekwisaki ebembe ya mwana oyo akufaki, mama ya mwana yango ayaki kobondela mokonzi ete azongisa ndako mpe mabele na ye. Geazi alobaki: « Mokonzi, nkolo na ngai, tala mwasi oyo mpe mwana na ye ya mobali oyo Elize asekwisaki. »
6 When the king asked the woman, she confirmed it. So the king appointed for her an officer, saying, “Restore all that was hers, along with all the proceeds of the field from the day that she left the country until now.”
Mokonzi atunaki na mwasi yango mpe ayebisaki ye makambo nyonso. Na sima, mokonzi aponaki moko kati na bakalaka na ye ya lokumu mpe apesaki ye mitindo: « Zongisela ye biloko na ye nyonso mpe bambuma nyonso ya bilanga oyo mabele na ye ebotaki wuta mokolo oyo alongwaki na mboka na biso kino lelo. »
7 Then Elisha came to Damascus while Ben-hadad king of Aram was sick, and the king was told, “The man of God has come here.”
Elize akendeki na Damasi, wana Beni-Adadi, mokonzi ya Siri, azalaki kobela. Tango bayebisaki mokonzi ete moto na Nzambe akomi kati na engumba,
8 So the king said to Hazael, “Take a gift in your hand, go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the LORD through him, ‘Will I recover from this illness?’”
mokonzi alobaki na Azaeli: « Kamata likabo mpe kende kokutana na moto na Nzambe. Tuna Yawe na nzela ya moto na Nzambe: ‹ Boni, nakobika solo na bokono oyo? › »
9 So Hazael went to meet Elisha, taking with him a gift of forty camel loads of every good thing from Damascus. And he went in and stood before him and said, “Your son Ben-hadad king of Aram has sent me to ask, ‘Will I recover from this illness?’”
Azaeli akendeki kokutana na Elize, amemaki elongo na ye likabo ya biloko nyonso ya Damasi; bamemaki yango na likolo ya bashamo tuku minei. Azaeli akitaki, atelemaki liboso ya Elize mpe alobaki: — Mwana na yo ya mobali Beni-Adadi, mokonzi ya Siri, atindi ngai; atuni: « Boni, nakobika solo na bokono oyo? »
10 Elisha answered, “Go and tell him, ‘You will surely recover.’ But the LORD has shown me that in fact he will die.”
Elize azongisaki: — Loba na ye: « Solo, okobika na bokono oyo. » Nzokande, Yawe amonisi ngai ete akokufa.
11 Elisha fixed his gaze steadily on him until Hazael became uncomfortable. Then the man of God began to weep.
Elize atalaki ye malamu-malamu, mpe Azaeli ayokaki soni. Mpe moto na Nzambe alelaki.
12 “Why is my lord weeping?” asked Hazael. “Because I know the evil you will do to the Israelites,” Elisha replied. “You will set fire to their fortresses, kill their young men with the sword, dash their little ones to pieces, and rip open their pregnant women.”
Azaeli atunaki: — Mpo na nini nkolo na ngai azali kolela? Elize azongisaki: — Mpo ete nayebi mabe oyo okosala bana ya Isalaele. Okozikisa bingumba na bango, oyo etongama makasi, okokata bilenge mibali na bango bakingo na mopanga, okoboma bana na bango ya mike, mpe okopasola mabumu ya basi na bango ya zemi.
13 “But how could your servant, a mere dog, do such a monstrous thing?” said Hazael. And Elisha answered, “The LORD has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
Azaeli akamwaki mpe azongisaki: — Mpo na nini okosala makambo ya boye na mosali na yo? Ata kutu mbwa eleki ngai na tina! Elize alobaki lisusu: — Yawe amonisi ngai ete okokoma mokonzi ya Siri.
14 So Hazael left Elisha and went to his master, who asked him, “What did Elisha say to you?” And he replied, “He told me that you would surely recover.”
Azaeli atikaki Elize mpe azongaki epai ya mokonzi na ye. Bongo mokonzi na ye atunaki ye: — Elize alobi na yo nini? Azongisaki: — Alobi na ngai: « Solo, okobika na bokono oyo. »
15 But the next day Hazael took a thick cloth, dipped it in water, and spread it over the king’s face. So Ben-hadad died, and Hazael reigned in his place.
Mokolo oyo elandaki, Azaeli azwaki bulangeti, azindisaki yango na mayi, mpe afinikaki na yango elongi ya mokonzi mpo na kokanga ye pema; mpe mokonzi akufaki. Azaeli akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
16 In the fifth year of the reign of Joram son of Ahab over Israel, Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat succeeded his father as king of Judah.
Tango Yorami, mwana mobali ya Akabi, mokonzi ya Isalaele, akokisaki mibu mitano na bokonzi —Jozafati azalaki mokonzi ya Yuda— Yorami, mwana mobali ya Jozafati, mokonzi ya Yuda, akomaki mokonzi.
17 Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years.
Azalaki na mibu tuku misato na mibale ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu mwambe na Yelusalemi.
18 And Jehoram walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, just as the house of Ahab had done. For he married a daughter of Ahab and did evil in the sight of the LORD.
Alandaki nzela oyo bakonzi ya Isalaele batambolaki na yango mpe asalaki mabe na miso ya Yawe ndenge libota ya Akabi esalaki, pamba te abalaki mwana na ye ya mwasi.
19 Yet for the sake of His servant David, the LORD was unwilling to destroy Judah, since He had promised to maintain a lamp for David and his descendants forever.
Kasi Yawe alingaki te kobebisa Yuda mpo na Davidi, mowumbu na Ye, pamba te alakaki kopesa bokonzi epai ya Davidi mpe epai ya bana na ye mpo na libela.
20 In the days of Jehoram, Edom rebelled against the hand of Judah and appointed their own king.
Na tango ya Yorami, bato ya Edomi batombokelaki Yuda mpe bamipesaki mokonzi.
21 So Jehoram crossed over to Zair with all his chariots. When the Edomites surrounded him and his chariot commanders, he rose up and attacked by night. His troops, however, fled to their homes.
Boye Yorami akendeki na Tsayiri elongo na bashar na ye nyonso. Na butu, atelemaki mpe abetaki bato ya Edomi oyo bazingelaki ye elongo na bakonzi ya basoda oyo babundaka na bashar; kasi basoda ya Yuda bakimaki na bandako na bango ya kapo.
22 So to this day Edom has been in rebellion against the hand of Judah. Likewise, Libnah rebelled at the same time.
Wuta mokolo wana kino lelo, Edomi etombokelaka kaka Yuda. Na tango wana, Libina mpe etombokaki.
23 As for the rest of the acts of Jehoram, along with all his accomplishments, are they not written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
Makambo mosusu oyo etali bokonzi ya Yorami mpe misala na ye nyonso ekomami na buku ya masolo ya bakonzi ya Yuda.
24 And Jehoram rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David. And his son Ahaziah reigned in his place.
Yorami akendeki kokutana na bakoko na ye, mpe bakundaki ye esika moko na bakoko na ye kati na engumba ya Davidi. Akazia, mwana na ye ya mobali, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
25 In the twelfth year of the reign of Joram son of Ahab over Israel, Ahaziah son of Jehoram became king of Judah.
Tango Yorami, mwana mobali ya Akabi, mokonzi ya Isalaele, akokisaki mibu zomi na mibale na bokonzi, Akazia, mwana mobali ya Yorami, akomaki mokonzi ya Yuda.
26 Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem one year. His mother’s name was Athaliah, the granddaughter of Omri king of Israel.
Akazia azalaki na mibu tuku mibale na mibale ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mobu moko na Yelusalemi. Kombo ya mama na ye ezalaki « Atali. » Atali azalaki koko ya Omiri, mokonzi ya Isalaele.
27 And Ahaziah walked in the ways of the house of Ahab and did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab, for he was a son-in-law of the house of Ahab.
Alandaki nzela oyo libota ya Akabi etambolaki na yango mpe asalaki mabe na miso ya Yawe ndenge libota ya Akabi esalaki, pamba te abalaki na libota ya Akabi.
28 Then Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to fight against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth-gilead, and the Arameans wounded Joram.
Akazia akendeki elongo na Yorami, mwana mobali ya Akabi, mpo na kobundisa Azaeli, mokonzi ya Siri, na Ramoti ya Galadi. Bato ya Arami bazokisaki Yorami.
29 So King Joram returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds that the Arameans had inflicted on him at Ramah when he fought against Hazael king of Aram. Then Ahaziah son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to Jezreel to visit Joram son of Ahab, because Joram had been wounded.
Boye, mokonzi Yorami azongaki na Jizireyeli mpo na kokawusa bapota oyo bato ya Arami bazokisaki ye na Rama, na bitumba oyo babundaki na Azaeli, mokonzi ya Siri. Akazia, mwana mobali ya Yorami, mokonzi ya Yuda, akendeki na Jizireyeli mpo na kotala Yorami, mwana mobali ya Akabi, pamba te bazokisaki ye.
