2 Kings 4
1 Now the wife of one of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant, my husband, is dead, and you know that your servant feared the LORD. And now his creditor is coming to take my two children as his slaves!”
၁ပရောဖက် အမျိုးသား ၏ မယား တယောက် သည်ဧလိရှဲ ထံသို့ လာ၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် ၊ ကျွန်မ ၏ ခင်ပွန်း သေ ပါပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ရိုသေ သောသူဖြစ် သည်ကို ကိုယ်တော် သိ တော်မူ၏။ ယခုမှာ ကြွေးရှင် သည်ကျွန်မ ၏သား နှစ် ယောက်ကို ကျွန်ခံ စေခြင်းငှါ လာ ပါပြီဟု ကြွေးကြော် လေ၏
2 “How can I help you?” asked Elisha. “Tell me, what do you have in the house?” She answered, “Your servant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”
၂ဧလိရှဲ ကလည်း ၊ သင့် အဘို့ အဘယ်သို့ ငါပြု ရ မည်နည်း။ သင့် အိမ် ၌ အဘယ် ဥစ္စာရှိ သနည်းဟုမေး လျှင်၊” ကိုယ်တော်” ကျွန် မအိမ် ၌ ဆီ အိုး တလုံးမှတပါး အဘယ်ဥစ္စာမျှ မ ရှိပါဟု ပြောဆို သော်၊
3 “Go,” said Elisha, “borrow jars, even empty ones, from all your neighbors. Do not gather just a few.
၃ဧလိရှဲက သွား လော့။ အိမ်နီးချင်း ရှိသမျှ တို့တွင် လပ် သောအိုး တို့ကို ငှါး ယူလော့။ များစွာသော အိုး တို့ကို ငှားယူလော့
4 Then go inside, shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour oil into all these jars, setting the full ones aside.”
၄ကိုယ်အိမ်သို့ ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ သား တို့ကို ခေါ်၍ တံခါး ကို ပိတ် ပြီးမှ ငှါးယူသော အိုး များအထဲ သို့ ဆီကို အပြည့် လောင်း ၍ ထားလော့ ဟုစီရင်သည်အတိုင်း၊”
5 So she left him, and after she had shut the door behind her and her sons, they kept bringing jars to her, and she kept pouring.
၅ထိုမိန်းမသည် သွား ၍ သား တို့သည် အိုးများကို ယူခဲ့ ပြီးမှ ၊ မိန်းမသည် သားတို့နှင့်အတူအိမ်ထဲသို့ဝင်၍ တံခါး ကိုပိတ် လျက် ဆီကို လောင်း လေ၏
6 When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another.” But he replied, “There are no more jars.” Then the oil stopped flowing.
၆အိုး များ၌ ဆီပြည့် သောအခါ ၊ အိုး တလုံးကို ယူ ခဲ့ဦးဟုသား အား ဆို လျှင် ၊ အိုး လပ်မ ရှိပါဟု ပြန်ပြော သော် ၊ ဆီ သည် တန့် လျက် နေ၏
7 She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil, and pay your debt. Then you and your sons can live on the remainder.”
၇ထိုမိန်းမသည်လာ ၍ ဘုရား သခင်၏ လူ ကို ကြားပြော လျှင် ၊ သူက ထိုဆီ ကိုသွား ၍ ရောင်း ပြီးလျှင် ကြွေး ကို ဆပ် လော့။ ကြွင်း သောဆီကို အမှီပြု၍ သင် နှင့် သား တို့သည် အသက် မွေးကြလော့ဟု ဆို ၏
8 One day Elisha went to Shunem, and a prominent woman who lived there persuaded him to have a meal. So whenever he would pass by, he would stop there to eat.
၈တနေ့သ၌ဧလိရှဲ သည်ရှုနင် မြို့သို့ သွား ရာ တွင်၊ ထို မြို့၌ ထင်ရှား သောမိန်းမ တယောက်သည် ဧလိရှဲ ကို ကျွေး ခြင်းငှါ ခေါ် ပင့်လေ၏။ နောက်မှထိုလမ်း သို့ သွား သောအခါခါ ၊ ကျွေး ခြင်းကိုခံ အံ့သောငှါ ထို အိမ်သို့ ဝင် တတ်၏
9 Then the woman said to her husband, “Behold, now I know that the one who often comes our way is a holy man of God.
၉မိန်းမကလည်း၊ ငါ တို့နေရာလမ်းဖြင့် အစဉ် သွား လာသောဤသူ သည် ဘုရား သခင်၏ သန့်ရှင်း သူ ဖြစ်သည်ကို ကျွန်ုပ်ရိပ်မိ ၏
10 Please let us make a small room upstairs and put in it a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp for him. Then when he comes to us, he can stay there.”
၁၀ဝင်ရိုး အပေါ်မှာ အခန်းငယ် တခုကို လုပ် ကြကုန် အံ့။ သူ့ အဘို့ ခုတင် ၊ စားပွဲ ၊ ထိုင်ခုံ ၊ မီးခုံ တို့ကို ထား ကြကုန် အံ့။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ ၊ သူ သည်ငါ တို့ ဆီ သို့ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ ထို အခန်းထဲ သို့ ဝင် လိမ့်မည်ဟု မိမိ ခင်ပွန်း အား ဆို ၏
11 One day Elisha came to visit and went to his upper room to lie down.
၁၁တနေ့သ၌ ဧလိရှဲသည် ရောက် သဖြင့် ၊ ထိုအခန်း ထဲသို့ ဝင် ၍ အိပ် နေ၏
12 And he said to Gehazi his servant, “Call the Shunammite woman.” And when he had called her, she stood before him,
၁၂ထို ရှုနင် မြို့သူမိန်းမကို ခေါ် လော့ဟု မိမိ ကျွန် ဂေဟာဇိ အား ဆို သည်အတိုင်း ခေါ် ၍ ၊ မိန်းမ သည် ဧလိရှဲ ရှေ့ မှာ ရပ် နေ၏
13 and Elisha said to Gehazi, “Now tell her, ‘Look, you have gone to all this trouble for us. What can we do for you? Can we speak on your behalf to the king or the commander of the army?’” “I have a home among my own people,” she replied.
၁၃ဧလိရှဲက၊ သင်သည်ငါ တို့အဘို့ ဤ မျှလောက်လုပ်ကြွေးပြုစုသည်အတွက်၊ သင့် အဘို့ အဘယ် သို့ပြု ရ မည်နည်း။ သင့် အဘို့ ရှင်ဘုရင် ထံ ၊ ဗိုလ်ချုပ် မင်းထံ ၌ ငါပြော ရမည်လော ဟု ဂေဟာဇိမေးမည်အကြောင်းစီရင် သော်၊” မိန်းမက၊ ကျွန်မ” သည် ကိုယ် အဆွေအမျိုး တို့တွင် နေ ပါဦးမည်ဟု ပြန်ပြော ၏
14 So he asked, “Then what should be done for her?” “Well, she has no son,” Gehazi replied, “and her husband is old.”
၁၄ဧလိရှဲကလည်း၊ ဤ မိန်းမအဘို့ အဘယ်သို့ ပြု စရာ ရှိသနည်းဟုမေး ပြန်လျှင် ၊ ဂေဟာဇိ က၊ ဤ မိန်းမ၌ သားသမီး မ ရှိပါ။ သူ့ ခင်ပွန်း လည်း အို လှပြီဟု ဆို သော်၊
15 “Call her,” said Elisha. So Gehazi called her, and she stood in the doorway.
၁၅တဖန် ခေါ် ဦးလော့ဟုဆို သည်အတိုင်း ခေါ် ၍ ၊ မိန်းမ သည် တံခါးဝ မှာ ရပ် နေ၏
16 And Elisha declared, “At this time next year, you will hold a son in your arms.” “No, my lord,” she said. “Do not lie to your maidservant, O man of God.”
၁၆ဧလိရှဲကလည်း၊ သင် သည် နောင် နှစ်အချိန် အရွယ် စေ့သောအခါ သား ကို ဘက်ယမ်း ရလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆို လျှင်၊ မိန်းမက အိုအရှင်၊ ဘုရား” သခင်၏လူ ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် မကို မုသာ မ သုံးပါနှင့်ဟု ပြန်ပြော ၏
17 But the woman did conceive, and at that time the next year she gave birth to a son, just as Elisha had told her.
၁၇ထိုနောက် မိန်းမ သည် ပဋိသန္ဓေ ယူ၍ ဧလိရှဲ ချိန်းချက် သော အချိန်အရွယ် စေ့သောအခါ သား ကို ဘွားမြင် လေ၏
18 And the child grew, and one day he went out to his father, who was with the harvesters.
၁၈ထိုသား သည် နို့ ကွာပြီးမှ ၊ တနေ့သ၌ စပါး ရိတ် သောသူတို့ရှိ ရာ မိမိ အဘ ထံသို့ သွား ၍၊ “
19 “My head! My head!” he complained to his father. So his father told a servant, “Carry him to his mother.”
၁၉ငါ သည်ခေါင်း နာ၏။ ခေါင်း နာ၏ဟု အဘ အား ပြောဆို လျှင် ၊ အဘက၊ သူငယ် ကို အမိ ထံသို့ ယူ သွားဟု လုလင် အား ပြော ၏
20 After the servant had picked him up and carried him to his mother, the boy sat on her lap until noon, and then he died.
၂၀လုလင်သည်အမိ ထံသို့ ယူ သွား၍ ၊ သူငယ်သည် အမိ ရင်ခွင် ၌ ထိုင် ၍ မွန်းတည့် အချိန်ရှိပြီးမှသေ ၏
21 And she went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God. Then she shut the door and went out.
၂၁အမိသည် မြို့ရိုးပေါ်သို့တက် ၍ အလောင်း ကို ဘုရားသခင့် လူ ၏ခုတင် ပေါ် မှာထား ပြီး လျှင်၊ တံခါးကို ပိတ် ခဲ့၍ သွား လေ၏
22 And the woman called her husband and said, “Please send me one of the servants and one of the donkeys, that I may go quickly to the man of God and return.”
၂၂ခင်ပွန်း ကို လည်း ခေါ် ၍ ၊ ကျွန်ုပ် သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏လူ ထံသို့ ပြေး ၍ တဖန်ပြန် လာဦးမည်။ လုလင် တယောက် နှင့် မြည်း တစီး ကိုထည့် လိုက်ပါဟုဆို လျှင်၊”
23 “Why would you go to him today?” he replied. “It is not a New Moon or a Sabbath.” “Everything is all right,” she said.
၂၃ခင်ပွန်းက၊ အဘယ် ကြောင့်ယနေ့ သွား ချင် သနည်း။ လဆန်း နေ့မ ဟုတ်၊ ဥပုသ် နေ့လည်း မ ဟုတ်ဟု ဆို သော် ၊ မိန်းမက၊ ကောင်းပါလိမ့်မည်ဟု ပြန်ပြော၏
24 Then she saddled the donkey and told her servant, “Drive onward; do not slow the pace for me unless I tell you.”
၂၄မြည်း ကို ကုန်းနှီး တင်ပြီးမှ ကျွန် ကို ခေါ် ၍ နှင် သွားလော့။ ငါမပြောလျှင် ငါ့ ကြောင့် အသွား မ နှေးစေနှင့် ဟု ကျွန် အား မှာ ထားသဖြင့်၊””
25 So she set out and went to the man of God at Mount Carmel. When the man of God saw her at a distance, he said to his servant Gehazi, “Look, there is the Shunammite woman.
၂၅ခရီးသွား ၍ ဘုရား သခင်၏ လူ ရှိ ရာ၊ ကရမေလ တောင် ပေါ် သို့ ရောက် သည်ကို ဘုရား သခင်၏ လူ သည် အဝေးကမြင်သောအခါ၊” မိမိ” ကျွန် ဂေဟာဇိ ကို ခေါ် ၍ ၊ ရှုနင် မြို့သူမိန်းမလာ၏
26 Please run out now to meet her and ask, ‘Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is your child all right?’” And she answered, “Everything is all right.”
၂၆သင်ပြေး ၍ ခရီးဦး ကြိုပြုပြီးလျှင် ၊ ကိုယ်တိုင် မာ ၏လော။ ခင်ပွန်း” မာ ၏လော။ သူငယ်” မာ ၏လော ဟု စေလွှတ်၍ မေးစေသော်၊ မိန်းမကမာ ပါ၏ ဟုဆို ၏
27 When she reached the man of God at the mountain, she clung to his feet. Gehazi came over to push her away, but the man of God said, “Leave her alone, for her soul is in deep distress, and the LORD has hidden it from me and has not told me.”
၂၇ဘုရား သခင်၏ လူ ရှိရာတောင် ပေါ် သို့ ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ သူ ၏ ခြေ တို့ကို ဘက် လေ၏။ ဂေဟာဇိ သည် ဆီးတား ခြင်းငှါ ချဉ်း လာလျှင် ၊ ဘုရား သခင်၏ လူ ကသူ့ ကို မ ဆီးတားနှင့်။ သူ သည် စိတ် ညှိုးငယ် ခြင်းရှိ၏။ ထို အကြောင်းကို ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ့ အား မ ပြ ၊ ဝှက်ထား တော်မူပြီဟုဆို ၏
28 Then she said, “Did I ask you for a son, my lord? Didn’t I say, ‘Do not deceive me?’”
၂၈မိန်းမကလည်း၊ ကျွန်မသည် ကျွန်မ သခင် ထံမှာ သား ဆုကို တောင်း ပါသလော။ ကျွန်မ” ကိုမုသာ မ သုံးပါ နှင့်ဟု လျှောက် ဆိုသည်မ ဟုတ်လော ဟု ဆို ၏
29 So Elisha said to Gehazi, “Tie up your garment, take my staff in your hand, and go! If you meet anyone, do not greet him, and if anyone greets you, do not answer him. Then lay my staff on the boy’s face.”
၂၉ဧလိရှဲသည် ဂေဟာဇိ ကို ခေါ် ၍ သင် ၏ခါး ကို စည်း လော့။ ငါ့ တောင်ဝေး ကို ကိုင် ၍ သွား လော့။ လမ်းမှာ သူတပါးတွေ့လျှင် နှုတ်မဆက်နှင့်။ သင့်ကို သူတပါး နှုတ်ဆက်လျှင် ပြန်၍ မပြောနှင့်။ ငါ့ တောင်ဝေး ကို သူငယ် ၏မျက်နှာ ပေါ် မှာ တင် လော့ဟု မှာထားလေ၏
30 And the mother of the boy said, “As surely as the LORD lives and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So he got up and followed her.
၃၀အမိ ကလည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အသက် ၊ ကိုယ်တော် အသက်ရှင် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ကျွန်မသည် ကိုယ်တော် နှင့်ကွာ ၍ မ သွားနိုင်ပါဟု ဆို လျှင် ၊ ဧလိရှဲသည် ထ ၍ လိုက် လေ၏
31 Gehazi went on ahead of them and laid the staff on the boy’s face, but there was no sound or response. So he went back to meet Elisha and told him, “The boy has not awakened.”
၃၁ဂေဟာဇိ သည်အရင် သွား ၍ ၊ တောင်ဝေး ကို သူငယ် ၏မျက်နှာ ပေါ် မှာတင် သော်လည်း ၊ သူငယ်သည် အသံ မ ပြုအမှုမ ထား။ ထိုကြောင့် ဂေဟာဇိသည်ဧလိရှဲ ကို ခရီးဦး ကြိုပြု၍ ၊ သူငယ် သည် မ နိုး ပါဟု ပြန်ပြော ၏
32 When Elisha reached the house, there was the boy lying dead on his bed.
၃၂ဧလိရှဲ သည် အိမ် သို့ ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ သူငယ် သေ လျက်၊ မိမိ ခုတင် ပေါ် မှာ တင် ထားလျက်ရှိသည်ကို တွေ့ သဖြင့်၊ “
33 So he went in, closed the door behind the two of them, and prayed to the LORD.
၃၃အထဲသို့ဝင် ၍ နှစ် ယောက်တည်းရှိစေခြင်းငှါ တံခါး ကိုပိတ် လျက် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ဆုတောင်း လေ၏
34 Then Elisha got on the bed and lay on the boy, mouth to mouth, eye to eye, and hand to hand. As he stretched himself out over him, the boy’s body became warm.
၃၄သူငယ် ၏အနီးအပါးသို့ ချဉ်း ၍ ၊ သူ့အပေါ် မှာအိပ် လျက် နှုတ် ချင်း၊ မျက်စိ ချင်း၊ လက် ချင်းထပ်လျက် ၊ သူငယ် အပေါ် မှာ ကိုယ်ကိုလှန် သဖြင့် သူငယ် အသား သည် နွေး စရှိ၏
35 Elisha turned away and paced back and forth across the room. Then he got on the bed and stretched himself out over the boy again, and the boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.
၃၅တဖန် ဆင်း ၍ အခန်း ထဲ မှာစင်္ကြံ သွားပြီးလျှင် ၊ ချဉ်း ပြန်၍ သူငယ် အပေါ် မှာ ကိုယ်ကိုလှန် သဖြင့် ၊ သူငယ် သည် ခုနစ် ကြိမ် ချေ ဆတ်၍ မျက်စိ ကိုဖွင့် ၏
36 Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunammite woman.” So he called her and she came. Then Elisha said, “Pick up your son.”
၃၆ဧလိရှဲသည် ဂေဟာဇိ ကို ခေါ် ၍ ၊ ရှုနင် မြို့သူမိန်းမကို ခေါ် လိုက်ဟုဆို သည်အတိုင်း ခေါ် ၍ သူသည် ရောက် လာသောအခါ ၊ ဧလိရှဲ က သင် ၏သား ကို ချီ ယူ လော့ဟု ဆို ၏
37 She came in, fell at his feet, and bowed to the ground. Then she picked up her son and went out.
၃၇မိန်းမသည်အထဲသို့ဝင် ၍ ၊ မြေ ပေါ် မှာ ပြပ်ဝပ် ဦးချပြီးလျှင် သား ကိုချီ ယူ၍ ထွက် သွား၏
38 When Elisha returned to Gilgal, there was a famine in the land. As the sons of the prophets were sitting at his feet, he said to his attendant, “Put on the large pot and boil some stew for the sons of the prophets.”
၃၈တဖန် ဧလိရှဲ သည် ဂိလဂါလ မြို့သို့ သွား ၍ ၊ ထိုပြည် ၌ အစာ ခေါင်းပါး၏။ ပရောဖက် အမျိုးသား တို့ သည် ဧလိရှဲ ရှေ့ မှာထိုင် ကြစဉ်၊ ပရောဖက် အမျိုးသား တို့ အဘို့ ကြီး သော အိုး ကင်းကိုပြင် ၍ ဟင်း ချက်လော့ဟု မိမိ ကျွန် အား ဆို ၏
39 One of them went out to the field to gather herbs, and he found a wild vine from which he gathered as many wild gourds as his garment could hold. Then he came back and cut them up into the pot of stew, though no one knew what they were.
၃၉တစုံ တယောက်သောသူသည် ဟင်းသီး ဟင်းရွက်ကို ဆွတ် ခြင်းငှါ လယ်ပြင် သို့ သွား ၍ တော နွယ် ပင်ကို တွေ့ လျှင် ၊ တော ဘူးသီး ပိုက် နိုင်သမျှကို ဆွတ်ယူပြီးမှ၊”
40 And they poured it out for the men to eat, but when they tasted the stew they cried out, “There is death in the pot, O man of God!” And they could not eat it.
၄၀ထိုဘူးမျိုးကို မ သိ ဘဲဟင်း အိုး ထဲသို့ ခတ်လေ၏။ ဟင်း အိုးစား အံ့ဟု လောင်း ပြီးမှ ဝိုင်း၍စား ကြစဉ်တွင်၊ အိုဘုရား သခင်၏လူ ၊ အိုး ထဲ၌ သေ ဘေးရှိ ပါသည်ဟု အော်ဟစ် ၍ မ စား နိုင် ဘဲ နေကြ၏
41 Then Elisha said, “Get some flour.” He threw it into the pot and said, “Pour it out for the people to eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.
၄၁ဧလိရှဲကလည်း၊ မုန့်ညက် ကို ယူ ခဲ့ဟုဆို ၍ အိုး ထဲ မှာ ခတ် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ လူ များစား စရာဘို့လောင်း ဦးလော့ဟု ဆို ပြန်သော် ၊ အိုး ၌ ဘေး မ ရှိ။
42 Now a man from Baal-shalishah came to the man of God with a sack of twenty loaves of barley bread from the first ripe grain. “Give it to the people to eat,” said Elisha.
၄၂တဖန် ဗာလရှလိရှ မြို့မှ လူ တယောက်သည် လာ ၍ ၊ အဦး သီးသော မုယော ဆန်ဖြင့် လုပ်သော မုန့် လုံး နှစ်ဆယ် နှင့် အိတ် ၌ ထည့်သော အသီးအနှံ များကို ဘုရား သခင် ၏ လူ ထံသို့ ဆောင် ခဲ့၏။ ဧလိရှဲကလည်း၊ ဤလူ များ ကို ကျွေး လော့ဟုဆို လျှင်၊ “
43 But his servant asked, “How am I to set twenty loaves before a hundred men?” “Give it to the people to eat,” said Elisha, “for this is what the LORD says: ‘They will eat and have some left over.’”
၄၃ကျွန် ကအဘယ်သို့ နည်း။ ကျွန်တော်သည် လူ တရာ ကို ဤ မျှနှင့် ကျွေး နိုင်ပါမည်လောဟုမေး လျှင်၊ ဧလိရှဲက ဤ” လူ များကို ကျွေး လော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ဝစွာ စား ကြသော်လည်း စားစရာကျန်ကြွင်း လိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူကြောင်း ကို ပြောဆိုသော်၊”
44 So he set it before them, and they ate and had some left over, according to the word of the LORD.
၄၄ကျွန်သည်လူ များရှေ့ မှာထည့် ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ စကား တော်နှင့်အညီ ထိုသူတို့သည် ဝစွာစား ကြ၍ ၊ စားစရာကျန်ကြွင်း လျက်ရှိ၏
