< 2 Kings 24 >

1 During Jehoiakim’s reign, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon invaded. So Jehoiakim became his vassal for three years, until he turned and rebelled against Nebuchadnezzar.
Wana Yeoyakimi azalaki mokonzi, Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, akotaki na makasi kati na mokili; mpe Yeoyakimi akomaki mosali na ye mibu misato. Kasi sima, abongolaki makanisi mpe atombokelaki Nabukodonozori.
2 And the LORD sent Chaldean, Aramean, Moabite, and Ammonite raiders against Jehoiakim in order to destroy Judah, according to the word that the LORD had spoken through His servants the prophets.
Yawe atindaki mampinga ya bato ya Chalide, ya Siri, ya Moabi mpe ya Amoni mpo na kobundisa ye. Yawe atindaki bango mpo na kobebisa Yuda kolanda liloba oyo Yawe asakolaki na nzela ya basali na Ye, basakoli.
3 Surely this happened to Judah at the LORD’s command, to remove them from His presence because of the sins of Manasseh and all that he had done,

4 and also for the innocent blood he had shed. For he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the LORD was unwilling to forgive.

5 As for the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, along with all his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
Makambo mosusu oyo etali bokonzi ya Yeoyakimi mpe misala na ye nyonso, ekomama kati na buku ya masolo ya bakonzi ya Yuda.
6 And Jehoiakim rested with his fathers, and his son Jehoiachin reigned in his place.
Tango Yeoyakimi akufaki, Yeoyakini, mwana na ye ya mobali, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
7 Now the king of Egypt did not march out of his land again, because the king of Babylon had taken all his territory, from the Brook of Egypt to the Euphrates River.
Mokonzi ya Ejipito azalaki kobima lisusu te elongo na mampinga na ye mpo na kokota na mikili mosusu, mpo ete mokonzi ya Babiloni abotolaki mabele na ye nyonso, longwa na moluka ya nor ya Ejipito kino na ebale Efrate.
8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother’s name was Nehushta daughter of Elnathan; she was from Jerusalem.
Yeoyakini azalaki na mibu zomi na mwambe ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki basanza misato na Yelusalemi. Kombo ya mama na ye ezalaki « Newushita. » Newushita azalaki mwana ya Elinatani, moto ya Yelusalemi.
9 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, just as his father had done.
Yeoyakini asalaki makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe ndenge kaka tata na ye asalaki.
10 At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched up to Jerusalem, and the city came under siege.
Ezalaki na tango wana nde bakonzi ya basoda ya Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, babundisaki Yelusalemi mpe bazingelaki engumba yango.
11 And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to the city while his servants were besieging it.
Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, ayaki ye moko na engumba tango basoda na ye bazalaki kozingela yango.
12 Jehoiachin king of Judah, his mother, his servants, his commanders, and his officials all surrendered to the king of Babylon. So in the eighth year of his reign, the king of Babylon took him captive.
Yeoyakini, mokonzi ya Yuda; mama na ye, basali na ye, bakambi na ye mpe bakalaka na ye ya lokumu bamipesaki bango nyonso epai ya mokonzi Nabukodonozori. Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, atiaki Yeoyakini na boloko na mobu ya mwambe ya bokonzi na ye.
13 As the LORD had declared, Nebuchadnezzar also carried off all the treasures from the house of the LORD and the royal palace, and he cut into pieces all the gold articles that Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD.
Ndenge Yawe alobaki yango, Nabukodonozori azwaki bomengo nyonso oyo ezalaki kati na Tempelo ya Yawe mpe kati na ndako ya mokonzi; bongo amemaki biloko nyonso ya wolo oyo Salomo, mokonzi ya Isalaele, asalaki mpo na Tempelo ya Yawe.
14 He carried into exile all Jerusalem—all the commanders and mighty men of valor, all the craftsmen and metalsmiths—ten thousand captives in all. Only the poorest people of the land remained.
Amemaki Yelusalemi mobimba na bowumbu: bakonzi nyonso ya basoda mpe basoda, bato nyonso ya mayele ya misala ya maboko mpe ba-oyo basalelaka bibende. Bango nyonso bazalaki bato nkoto zomi. Kaka babola nde batikalaki kati na mokili.
15 Nebuchadnezzar carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, as well as the king’s mother, his wives, his officials, and the leading men of the land. He took them into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.
Nabukodonozori amemaki Yeoyakini na bowumbu na Babiloni; amemaki mpe, longwa na Yelusalemi kino na Babiloni, mama ya mokonzi, basi ya mokonzi, bakalaka ya lokumu mpe bankumu ya mokili.
16 The king of Babylon also brought into exile to Babylon all seven thousand men of valor and a thousand craftsmen and metalsmiths—all strong and fit for battle.
Mokonzi ya Babiloni amemaki mpe na bowumbu na Babiloni mampinga nyonso ya bato nkoto sambo oyo bazalaki makasi mpe babongisama mpo na bitumba, bakisa bato nkoto moko oyo basalaka misala ya maboko mpe oyo basalelaka bibende.
17 Then the king of Babylon made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin’s uncle, king in his place and changed his name to Zedekiah.
Mokonzi ya Babiloni akomisaki Matania, noko ya Yeoyakini, mokonzi na esika na ye; mpe abongolaki kombo na ye, akomisaki yango « Sedesiasi. »
18 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years. His mother’s name was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah; she was from Libnah.
Sedesiasi azalaki na mibu tuku mibale na moko ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu zomi na moko na Yelusalemi. Kombo ya mama na ye ezalaki « Amutali. » Amutali azalaki mwana ya Jeremi, moto ya Libina.
19 And Zedekiah did evil in the sight of the LORD, just as Jehoiakim had done.
Sedesiasi asalaki makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe, ndenge kaka Yeoyakimi asalaki.
20 For because of the anger of the LORD, all this happened in Jerusalem and Judah, until He finally banished them from His presence. And Zedekiah also rebelled against the king of Babylon.
Ezalaki mpo na kanda makasi ya Yawe nde makambo oyo nyonso esalemelaki Yelusalemi mpe Yuda, kino Yawe kobengana bango mosika ya elongi na Ye. Nzokande, Sedesiasi atombokelaki mokonzi ya Babiloni.
