2 Corinthians 3
1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you?
೧ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತೇವೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸತಕ್ಕ ಯೋಗ್ಯತಾ ಪತ್ರಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವೋ? ಅಥವಾ ಅಂಥ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೋ?
2 You yourselves are our letter, inscribed on our hearts, known and read by everyone.
೨ಸ್ವತಃ “ನೀವೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಯೋಗ್ಯತಾ ಪತ್ರ” ಅದು ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ಬರೆದಿದೆ ಆ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಲ್ಲರು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಓದುತ್ತಾರೆ.
3 It is clear that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
೩ನೀವು, ನಮ್ಮ ಸೇವೆಯ ಫಲವಾಗಿ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬರೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪತ್ರವಾಗಿದ್ದೀರೆಂಬದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಅದು ಮಸಿಯಿಂದ ಬರೆದದ್ದಲ್ಲ. ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೇ ಬರೆದದ್ದು. ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಲಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಲ್ಲಾ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೃದಯಗಳೆಂಬ ಹಲಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆದದ್ದು.
4 Such confidence before God is ours through Christ.
೪ನಮಗೆ ಇಂಥ ಭರವಸೆಯು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿದೆ.
5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim that anything comes from us, but our competence comes from God.
೫ನಮ್ಮಿಂದಲೇ ಏನಾದರೂ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ನಾವೇ ಯೋಗ್ಯರಲ್ಲ ನಮಗಿರುವ ಯೋಗ್ಯತೆಯೂ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ಬಂದದ್ದು.
6 And He has qualified us as ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
೬ಆತನು ಹೊಸ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಸೇವಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ಲಿಖಿತರೂಪವಾಗಿರದೆ ದೇವರಾತ್ಮ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾದದ್ದು ಆಗಿದೆ. ಲಿಖಿತ ರೂಪವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ಮರಣವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವರಾತ್ಮ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾದದ್ದು ಜೀವವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.
7 Now if the ministry of death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at the face of Moses because of its fleeting glory,
೭ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೊರೆಯಲಾದ ಮೃತ್ಯುಕಾರಕವಾದ ಈ ಶಾಸನ ಅಷ್ಟು ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯೂ ಕುಂದಿಹೋಗುವಂಥದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ದಿಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಲು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?
೮ಹೀಗಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರಾತ್ಮಸಂಬಂಧವಾದ ಈ ಸೇವೆಯು ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟು ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಇರಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೇ?
9 For if the ministry of condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry of righteousness!
೯ಅಪರಾಧ ನಿರ್ಣಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಧನವಾಗಿರುವ ಸೇವೆಯು ಮಹಿಮೆಹೊಂದಿರಲಾಗಿ, ನೀತಿಗೆ ಸಾಧನವಾಗಿರುವ ಸೇವೆಯು ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟೋ ಅಧಿಕ ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿ ಇರತ್ತದಲ್ಲವೋ?
10 Indeed, what was once glorious has no glory now in comparison to the glory that surpasses it.
೧೦ಅಧಿಕವಾದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದು ಬಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯು ಅದರ ಎದುರು ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಲ್ಲದಂತಾಯಿತು.
11 For if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which endures!
೧೧ಅಳಿದು ಹೋಗುವಂಥದ್ದೇ, ಅಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರಭಾವವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವಂಥದ್ದು ಮತ್ತೆಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಪ್ರಭಾವವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿರಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೋ?
12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.
೧೨ನಮಗೆ ಇಂಥ ಭರವಸೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಾವು ಇಷ್ಟು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ.
13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at the end of what was fading away.
೧೩ಕುಂದಿಹೋಗುವಂಥ ಮಹಿಮೆಯು ಕುಂದಿಹೋಗುವುದನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಕಾಣದಂತೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಸುಕು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ನಾವು ಮೋಶೆಯಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
14 But their minds were closed. For to this day the same veil remains at the reading of the old covenant. It has not been lifted, because only in Christ can it be removed.
೧೪ಆದರೆ ಆ ಜನರ ಬುದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಮಂಕು ಕವಿದಿತ್ತು. ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೂ ಹಳೇ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ಓದುವಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದೇ ಮಂಕಿನ ಮುಸುಕು ಕವಿದಿದೆ. ಅದನ್ನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮುಖಾಂತರವೇ ತೆರೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ.
15 And even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.
೧೫ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೂ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ಓದುವಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಸುಕು ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
೧೬ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡಾಗಲೇ ಆ ಮುಸುಕು ತೆಗೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವುದು.
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
೧೭ಆ ಕರ್ತನು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನೇ. ಕರ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮನು ಇರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
೧೮ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮುಸುಕು ತೆಗೆದಿರುವ ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ದರ್ಪಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತದೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕರ್ತನ ದಾನವಾಗಿರುವ ಆತ್ಮದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಅಧಿಕ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ, ಆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಸಾರೂಪ್ಯವುಳ್ಳವರೇ ಆಗುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಇದು ಆತ್ಮನಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಾರ್ಯವೇ ಸರಿ.
