< 2 Chronicles 5 >

1 So all the work that Solomon had performed for the house of the LORD was completed. Then Solomon brought in the items his father David had dedicated—the silver, the gold, and all the furnishings—and he placed them in the treasuries of the house of God.
Hiti chun Solomon chun Pakai Houin a anatoh ding jouse atongchaitai. Chuin Aman apa David in ana lhandohsa thilto ho-sana, dangka thil jatchom chom tamtah chu Pathen Houin na chun ahinpolutnin gou thilkoinaa chun akoitai.
2 At that time Solomon assembled in Jerusalem the elders of Israel—all the tribal heads and family leaders of the Israelites—to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from Zion, the City of David.
Chuin Solomon chun Israel upa ho, aphung khaiya aluboh ho, Israelte pule pa lhah’a insung lamkai ho akoukhomin ahi. Amaho chun Pathen thingkong chu aumna mun Zion tia kihe David khopia kona Houin a chu ahin putlut diu ahi.
3 So all the men of Israel came together to the king at the feast in the seventh month.
Chuti chun Israel pasal ho chu kumseh’a chavang laiya kimangji, lhambuh kut kimanna munna lengpa angsunga chun akikhom tauvin ahi.
4 When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the Levites took up the ark,
Israel upa ho jouse ahunglhun phat uchun Levi techun thingkong chu adomdoh-un;
5 and they brought up the ark and the Tent of Meeting with all its sacred furnishings. The Levitical priests carried them up.
Chuin thempu hole Levi techun thingkong le ponbuh chule atilla-patna asunga ana umsa thil theng hochu ahin polut tauve.
6 There, before the ark, King Solomon and the whole congregation of Israel who had assembled with him sacrificed so many sheep and oxen that they could not be counted or numbered.
Hichun thingkong masanga leng Solomon le Israel mipi chun kelngoi ho, kelchaho chule bong atama tam, simjou hilou chu Pathen adin alhandoh tauve.
7 Then the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, the Most Holy Place, beneath the wings of the cherubim.
Hichun thempu ho chun Pakai thingkong chu Houin theng dan sungnung muntheng chungnung pen, Cherubim lhaving teni noiya chun akoi tauvin ahi,
8 For the cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark and overshadowed the ark and its poles.
Cherubim chun thingkong chunga chu alhavingteni ajallin ahile, thingkong le akiputna moljol teni ding chun abuh-khu’in apang jeng in ahi.
9 The poles of the ark extended far enough that their ends were visible from in front of the inner sanctuary, but not from outside the Holy Place; and they are there to this day.
Hiche akiputna moljol teni chu asaobeh set jeh chun, Houin a indan sungnung muntheng chungnung pena konin; amongval chu akimu theijin ahi. Ahinlah Houin pama konin vang akimu theipoi, hichu tuni chan in hichelai muna chun aum nalaiyin ahi.
10 There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the LORD had made a covenant with the Israelites after they had come out of Egypt.
Pathen thingkong sunga chun Sinai molchunga Mose in anakoi songpeh teni tilou thildang emacha aumpoi, hiche lai mun hi Israel ten Egypt gam ahin dalhah nungu va Pakai toh Israel ten kitepna anasem nau mun chu ahi.
11 Now all the priests who were present had consecrated themselves regardless of their divisions. And when the priests came out of the Holy Place,
Chuin thempuho chun muntheng chu adalha tauve. Thempuho chu hiche nikho kin; kibolnaa panghen lang panghih jongle abon chaovin akisutheng soh keiyun ahi.
12 all the Levitical singers—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps, and lyres, accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets.
Chule Levite lasa themho Asaph, Heman Jeduthun chule asopiho le achateu chu tupat pon nemin akivon nun, maicham solama chun adingun; semjang pehkhong le selangdah atum un ahi. Amaho chu thempuho jakhat le somni chun sumkon mutnin akitho piuvin ahi.
13 The trumpeters and singers joined together to praise and thank the LORD with one voice. They lifted up their voices, accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and musical instruments, in praise to the LORD: “For He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.” And the temple, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud
Sumkon mutho le lasa themho chun thakhat tah in Pakai chu choi-at nale thangvahna apeuvin ahi. Sumkon, Sumlheng chule suhgingthei jatchom chom toh thon Pakai chu hiti hin avah choiyun, “Pakai chu anunnome, Ami lungset na long lou chu atonsot na umjing ahi. Hiche pet tah chun meilhang lom khatnin Pakai Houin chu ahin lodim jengin ahi.
14 so that the priests could not stand there to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.
Hiche meilhang jeh chun thempu ho chun anatoh u ajom thei tapouve, ijeh inem itile Pakai loupina chun Pathen Houin chu alo dimset ahitai.”
