2 Chronicles 17
1 Asa’s son Jehoshaphat reigned in his place, and he strengthened himself against Israel.
၁ယောရှဖတ်သည်ခမည်းတော်အာသ၏ အရိုက်အရာကိုဆက်ခံ၍နန်းတက်ပြီး နောက် ဣသရေလနိုင်ငံအားခုခံတိုက်ခိုက် ရန်မိမိ၏နိုင်ငံကိုခိုင်ခံ့အောင်ပြုတော် မူ၏။-
2 He stationed troops in every fortified city of Judah and put garrisons in the land of Judah and in the cities of Ephraim that his father Asa had captured.
၂သူသည်ယုဒပြည်ခံတပ်မြို့များ၊ ယုဒ ကျေးလက်များနှင့်ဧဖရိမ်နယ်မြေမှ အာသသိမ်းယူထားသည့်မြို့များတွင် မိမိ၏စစ်တပ်များကိုချထားလေသည်။-
3 Now the LORD was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the earlier ways of his father David. He did not seek out the Baals,
၃ယောရှဖတ်သည်ခမည်းတော်အာသနန်း တက်စအခါကပြုမူခဲ့သည့်စံနမူနာ ကိုလိုက်၍ ဗာလဘုရားအားဝတ်မပြု ရှိမခိုးဘဲနေသဖြင့်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သူ့အားကောင်းချီးပေးတော်မူ၏။-
4 but he sought the God of his father and walked by His commandments rather than the practices of Israel.
၄သူသည်ခမည်းတော်၏ဘုရားကိုကိုးကွယ် ၍ဘုရားသခင်၏အမိန့်တော်ကိုနာခံ တော်မူ၏။ ဣသရေလဘုရင်တို့၏လမ်းစဉ် ကိုလိုက်တော်မမူ။-
5 So the LORD established the kingdom in his hand, and all Judah brought him tribute, so that he had an abundance of riches and honor.
၅ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ယောရှဖတ်၏အာဏာ ကိုတည်စေတော်မူ၏။ ပြည်သူအပေါင်းတို့ သည်သူ့ထံသို့လက်ဆောင်ပဏ္ဏာများကိုယူ ဆောင်လာကြ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်မင်းကြီးသည် ချမ်းသာကြွယ်ဝကာဂုဏ်အသရေကြီး မြင့်လာတော်မူ၏။-
6 And his heart took delight in the ways of the LORD; furthermore, he removed the high places and Asherah poles from Judah.
၆သူသည်ထာဝရဘုရားအားကိုးကွယ်မှု တွင်စိတ်အားထက်သန်လျက်ယုဒပြည်ရှိ ရုပ်တုကိုးကွယ်ရာဌာနများနှင့်အာရှရ ဘုရားမ၏တံခွန်တိုင်ရှိသမျှကိုဖျက် ဆီးတော်မူ၏။
7 In the third year of his reign, Jehoshaphat sent his officials Ben-hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel, and Micaiah to teach in the cities of Judah,
၇နန်းစံတတိယနှစ်၌ယောရှဖတ်သည် မှူးမတ်များဖြစ်ကြသောဗင်ဟဲလ၊ သြဗဒိ၊ ဇာခရိ၊ နာသနေလနှင့်မိက္ခာယတို့အား ယုဒပြည်အမြို့မြို့သို့သြဝါဒပေးရန် စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။-
8 accompanied by certain Levites—Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah, and Tob-adonijah—along with the priests Elishama and Jehoram.
၈သူတို့နှင့်အတူလေဝိအနွယ်ဝင်ကိုးဦး နှင့်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်နှစ်ပါးလိုက်ပါသွား ကြ၏။ လေဝိအနွယ်ဝင်တို့မှာရှေမာယ၊ နေသနိ၊ ဇေဗဒိ၊ အာသဟေလ၊ ရှေမိရမုတ်၊ ယောနသန်၊ အဒေါနိယ၊ တောဘိယ၊ တောဘ၊ ဒေါနိယတို့ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် တို့မှာဧလိရှမာနှင့်ယောရံတို့ဖြစ်ကြ ၏။-
9 They taught throughout Judah, taking with them the Book of the Law of the LORD. They went throughout the towns of Judah and taught the people.
၉သူတို့သည်မိမိတို့နှင့်အတူယူဆောင် သွားသောထာဝရဘုရား၏ပညတ်တရား ကျမ်းအရ ယုဒမြို့အသီးသီးသို့လှည့် လည်ကာပြည်သူတို့အားသွန်သင်ကြ၏။
10 And the dread of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that surrounded Judah, so that they did not make war against Jehoshaphat.
၁၀ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်နိုင်ငံ အပေါင်းတို့အား ယောရှဖတ်နှင့်စစ်ဖြစ် ရန်ကြောက်လန့်စေတော်မူ၏။-
11 Some Philistines also brought gifts and silver as tribute to Jehoshaphat, and the Arabs brought him 7,700 rams and 7,700 goats from their flocks.
၁၁ဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုးသားအချို့တို့သည်ယော ရှဖတ်ထံသို့ ငွေအမြောက်အမြားနှင့် အခြားလက်ဆောင်ပဏ္ဏာများကိုယူဆောင် လာကြ၏။ အာရပ်အမျိုးသားအချို့တို့ ကလည်းသိုးအကောင်ရေခုနစ်ထောင့်ခုနစ် ရာနှင့် ဆိတ်အကောင်ရေခုနစ်ထောင့်ခုနစ်ရာ ကိုယူဆောင်လာလေသည်။-
12 Jehoshaphat grew stronger and stronger, and he built fortresses and store cities in Judah
၁၂သို့ဖြစ်၍ယောရှဖတ်သည်တန်ခိုးကြီးသည် ထက်ကြီးလာတော်မူ၏။ သူသည်ယုဒပြည် တစ်လျှောက်လုံးတွင်ခံတပ်များကိုလည်း ကောင်း၊-
13 and kept vast supplies in the cities of Judah. He also had warriors in Jerusalem who were mighty men of valor.
၁၃ရိက္ခာအမြောက်အမြားသိုလှောင်ရာမြို့ များကိုလည်းကောင်းတည်ဆောက်တော်မူ၏။ မင်းကြီးသည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့တွင်ထူးချွန် သည့်တပ်မှူးများကို၊-
14 These are their numbers according to the houses of their fathers: From Judah, the commanders of thousands: Adnah the commander, and with him 300,000 mighty men of valor;
၁၄သားချင်းစုများအလိုက်နေရာချထား တော်မူ၏။ ယုဒအနွယ်ဝင်တို့၏တပ်မှူး သည်အာဒနဖြစ်၍ သူ၏လက်အောက် တွင်စစ်သည်သုံးသိန်းရှိလေသည်။-
15 next to him, Jehohanan the commander, and with him 280,000;
၁၅ဒုတိယတပ်မှူးမှာယောဟနန်ဖြစ်၍စစ် သည်နှစ်သိန်းရှစ်သောင်းကိုအုပ်ချုပ်ရ၏။-
16 and next to him, Amasiah son of Zichri, the volunteer for the LORD, and with him 200,000 mighty men of valor.
၁၆တတိယတပ်မှူးကားဇိခရိ၏သားအာမသိ ဖြစ်၍စစ်သည်နှစ်သိန်းကိုအုပ်ချုပ်ရလေသည်။ (အာမသိသည်မိမိစေတနာအလျောက် ထာဝရဘုရား၏အမှုတော်ကိုထမ်းဆောင် သူဖြစ်သည်။-)
17 From Benjamin: Eliada, a mighty man of valor, and with him 200,000 armed with bows and shields;
၁၇ဗင်္ယာမိန်အနွယ်ဝင်တို့၏တပ်မှူးသည်ဧလျာဒ ဖြစ်၏။ သူသည်လေးနှင့်ဒိုင်းလွှားကိုင်စစ်သည် တော်နှစ်သိန်းကိုအုပ်ချုပ်ရသူ၊ ထူးချွန်သည့် စစ်သူရဲတစ်ဦးဖြစ်လေသည်။-
18 and next to him, Jehozabad, and with him 180,000 armed for battle.
၁၈သူ၏လက်ထောက်တပ်မှူးမှာလက်နက်အပြည့် အစုံနှင့် လူတစ်သိန်းရှစ်သောင်းကိုအုပ်ချုပ် ရသူယောဇဗဒ်ဖြစ်၏။-
19 These were the men who served the king, besides those he stationed in the fortified cities throughout Judah.
၁၉ယုဒပြည်ခံတပ်မြို့များတွင်နေရာချထား သည့်စစ်သည်တော်များအပြင် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့တွင်နေရာချထားသည့်ဤသူတို့သည် လည်း မင်းကြီး၏အမှုတော်ကိုထမ်းဆောင် ရကြလေသည်။
