< 2 Chronicles 13 >

1 In the eighteenth year of Jeroboam’s reign, Abijah became king of Judah,
Jeroboamu'ma 18ni'a kafuma Israeli vahe kinima nemanigeno'a, Abija'a Juda vahe kinia agafa huno mani'ne.
2 and he reigned in Jerusalem three years. His mother’s name was Micaiah daughter of Uriel; she was from Gibeah. And there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.
Hagi Abija'a 3'a kafu Jerusalemia kinia mani'ne. Nerera'a Gibea kumateti Urieli mofakino agi'a Mikaia'e. Hagi Jeroboamu'ene Abijakea ana knafina tusi ha' hu'na'e.
3 Abijah went into battle with an army of 400,000 chosen men, while Jeroboam drew up in formation against him with 800,000 chosen and mighty men of valor.
Hagi Abija'a 400 tauseni'a hankavenentake sondia vahe'aramina zamavareno Jeroboamuna hara hunte'naku vigeno, Jeroboamu'a 800 tauseni'a hankavenentake sondia vahe zamavareno Juda vahera hara hu'zmantenaku e'ne.
4 Then Abijah stood on Mount Zemaraim in the hill country of Ephraim and said, “Hear me, O Jeroboam and all Israel!
Hagi Abija'a Efraemi agona kokampi Zemaraimi agonare oti'neno amanage huno kezanati'ne, Jeroboamugane, maka Israeli vahe'mota kama antahiho!
5 Do you not know that the LORD, the God of Israel, has given the kingship of Israel to David and his descendants forever by a covenant of salt?
6 Yet Jeroboam son of Nebat, a servant of Solomon son of David, rose up and rebelled against his master.
7 Then worthless and wicked men gathered around him to resist Rehoboam son of Solomon when he was young, inexperienced, and unable to resist them.
Hagi ana knafina Rehoboamu'a osi mofavre mani'neankino, ana kezmirera mago zana osu'ne.
8 And now you think you can resist the kingdom of the LORD, which is in the hands of David’s descendants. You are indeed a vast army, and you have with you the golden calves that Jeroboam made for you as gods.
Hagi kagri'ma ohampriga'a hanave sondia vaheka'a manizageno, havi anumzama golire bulimakao anentama Jeroboamu'ma tro hugami'nea anumzama ante'nana zanku nentahinka, Ra Anumzamo'ma Deviti naga'ma huvempa huno ami'nea kini tra eri atregahue hunka nehano?
9 But did you not drive out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites? And did you not make priests for yourselves as do the peoples of other lands? Now whoever comes to consecrate himself with a young bull and seven rams can become a priest of things that are not gods.
Hagi kagra Aroni naga'ene, Livae nagapinti Ra Anumzamofo pristi vahera zmahenatinka, ru mopafi vahe'mo'zama nehazaza hunka, kagra'a pristi vahetami zamazeri oti'nane. Hagi iza'oma mago agaho bulimakaogi, 7ni'a ve sipisipima avrenoma agra'ama azeri ruotge'ma hunaku'ma e'nea vahera, zamavarenka havi anumzamofo pristi vahe zmantanke'za manitere hu'naze.
10 But as for us, the LORD is our God. We have not forsaken Him; the priests who minister to the LORD are sons of Aaron, and the Levites attend to their duties.
Hianagi tagra, Ra Anumzana Anumzantimofona tamagena huomi'none. Aroni mofavremo'za pristi eri'zana erizageno, Livae naga'mo'za Ra Anumzamofo eri'zana zamaza hu'za e'nerize.
11 Every morning and every evening they present burnt offerings and fragrant incense to the LORD. They set out the rows of showbread on the ceremonially clean table, and every evening they light the lamps of the gold lampstand. We are carrying out the requirements of the LORD our God, while you have forsaken Him.
Hagi zamagra mika kna nanterane, kinaganena tare zupa Ra Anumzamofontega ofane mnanentake insensinena kre mna vuntetere nehu'za, Anumzamofo avugama ante bretia goli itare nente'za, golire tro hunte'nea tavi azotare mika kinaga tavira rekru huntetere nehaze. Tagra Ra Anumzamofo amage anteta nevarurunketa, tamagra tamefi agrira humi'naze.
12 Now behold, God Himself is with us as our head, and His priests with their trumpets sound the battle call against you. O children of Israel, do not fight against the LORD, the God of your fathers, for you will not succeed.”
Hagi menina antahiho, Anumzamo'a tagri kaziga mani'neankino, pristi vahe'mo'za ha'ma huramante ufe renaku retro hu'za mani'naze. Israeli vahe'mota Ra Anumzana tamafahe'i Anumzamofona ha' reonteho. Na'ankure hara hu ageteoregahaze.
13 Now Jeroboam had sent troops around to ambush from the rear, so that while he was in front of Judah, the ambush was behind them.
Hagi Jeroboamu'a sondia vahetmina huzmantege'za zamefiti hara eme huzmante'naku kafona ome ante'naze. Hagi mago'a sondia vahe'mo'za Juda sondia vahe zamavuga manizage'za, mago'amo'za zamefi kafona eme ante'naze.
14 When Judah turned and discovered that the battle was both before and behind them, they cried out to the LORD. Then the priests blew the trumpets,
15 and the men of Judah raised the battle cry. And when they raised the cry, God routed Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.
16 So the Israelites fled before Judah, and God delivered them into their hands.
Ana'ma higeno'a, Israeli vahe'mo'za koro frazageno, Anumzamo'a Israeli vahera Juda vahe zamazampi zamavarente'ne.
17 Then Abijah and his people struck them with a mighty blow, and 500,000 chosen men of Israel fell slain.
Hagi Abija'ene Juda vahe'mo'za hanavenentake Israeli sondia vahera tusi vahekrerfa zamahe'nazankino, ana zupa 500 tauseni'a sondia vahe zamahe fri'naze.
18 Thus the Israelites were subdued at that time, and the men of Judah prevailed because they relied on the LORD, the God of their fathers.
E'ina hu'za Juda vahe'mo'za Israeli vahera hara huzmagatere'naze. Na'ankure Juda vahe'mo'za zamagra Ra Anumzana zamafahe'i Anumzante zamentintia hu'nazagu anara hu'naze.
19 Abijah pursued Jeroboam and captured some cities from him: Bethel, Jeshanah, and Ephron, along with their villages.
E'i ana kumatmina, Beteli rankumaki, Jesana rankumaki, Efroni rankumaki, maka neone kumatmima ana rankumataminte'ma megagi'nea kumatmina zamahe'za hanare'naze.
20 Jeroboam did not again recover his power during the days of Abijah, and the LORD struck him down and he died.
Hagi Abija'ma hanaventino kinima mani'neno'ma kegava hu'nea knafina, Jeroboamu'a mago'enena hihamua erino kinia omanigeno, Ra Anumzamo'a henka ahe fri'ne.
21 But Abijah grew strong, married fourteen wives, and became the father of twenty-two sons and sixteen daughters.
Hianagi Abija'a tusiza huno hankavenentake kini efore nehuno, 14ni'a a'ne anteneno, 22'a ne' mofavreraminki, 16ni'a mofanegi huno zamante'ne.
22 Now the rest of the acts of Abijah, along with his ways and his words, are written in the Treatise of the Prophet Iddo.
Hagi maka'zama Abijama hu'nea zamofo agenkea kasnampa ne' Ido avontafepi krente'naze.
