1 Kings 16
1 Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu son of Hanani against Baasha, saying:
那時，有上主的話傳於哈納尼的兒子耶胡，斥責巴厄沙說：「
2 “Even though I lifted you out of the dust and made you ruler over My people Israel, you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have caused My people Israel to sin and to provoke Me to anger by their sins.
我由塵埃中提拔了你，立你做我民以色列的領袖，你卻走了雅洛貝罕的路，使我民以色列犯罪，激怒我；
3 So now I will consume Baasha and his house, and I will make your house like that of Jeroboam son of Nebat:
我現在，我要掃除巴厄沙和他的家族，使他的家如同乃巴特的兒子雅洛貝罕的一家一樣：
4 Anyone belonging to Baasha who dies in the city will be eaten by dogs, and anyone who dies in the field will be eaten by the birds of the air.”
凡屬巴厄沙家的人，死在城中的，必為狗吞食，死在田野間的，必為空中的飛鳥啄食。」
5 As for the rest of the acts of Baasha, along with his accomplishments and might, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
巴厄沙其餘的事蹟，他所行的事和他的功績，都記載在以色列列王實錄上。
6 And Baasha rested with his fathers and was buried in Tirzah, and his son Elah reigned in his place.
巴厄沙與列祖同眠，葬在提爾匝；他的兒子厄拉繼位為王。
7 Moreover, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Jehu son of Hanani against Baasha and his house, because of all the evil he had done in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger with the work of his hands and becoming like the house of Jeroboam, and also because Baasha had struck down the house of Jeroboam.
上主藉哈納尼的兒子，先知耶胡傳話斥責巴厄沙和他的家族，是因為他行了許多上主眼中視為惡的事，以自己的作為激怒了上主，如同雅洛貝罕的家一樣；又因為他殺了雅洛貝罕全家。厄拉為以色列王
8 In the twenty-sixth year of Asa’s reign over Judah, Elah son of Baasha became king of Israel, and he reigned in Tirzah two years.
猷大王阿撒二十六年，巴厄沙的兒子厄拉在提爾匝登極作以色列王，在位凡二年。
9 However, while Elah was in Tirzah getting drunk in the house of Arza the steward of his household there, Elah’s servant Zimri, the commander of half his chariots, conspired against him.
他的臣僕，即率領他半數戰車的隊長，齊默黎結黨背叛了他。當他在提爾匝，他的家在阿爾匝家喝醉時，
10 So in the twenty-seventh year of Asa’s reign over Judah, Zimri went in, struck Elah down, and killed him. And Zimri reigned in his place.
齊默黎衝入，擊殺了他，篡奪了他的王位，時在猶大王阿撒二十七年。
11 As soon as Zimri began to reign and was seated on the throne, he struck down the entire household of Baasha. He did not leave a single male, whether a kinsman or friend.
齊默黎一登極，立刻屠殺了巴厄沙全家，沒有給他留下一個男子，連他的親屬朋友都殺了。
12 So Zimri destroyed the entire household of Baasha, according to the word that the LORD had spoken against Baasha through Jehu the prophet.
齊默黎這樣毀滅了巴厄沙全家，應驗了上主藉先知耶胡斥責巴厄沙所說的話。
13 This happened because of all the sins Baasha and his son Elah had committed and had caused Israel to commit, provoking the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger with their worthless idols.
這是因為巴厄沙和他的兒子厄拉所犯的一切罪，即引以色列陷於罪惡，因他們製造了虛無偶像，激怒了上主，以色列的天主。
14 As for the rest of the acts of Elah, along with all his accomplishments, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
厄拉其餘的事蹟，他的一切作為，都記載在以色列列王實錄上。齊默黎為以色列王
15 In the twenty-seventh year of Asa’s reign over Judah, Zimri reigned in Tirzah for seven days. Now the troops were encamped against Gibbethon of the Philistines,
猶大王阿撒二十七年，齊默黎王提爾匝作王僅七天。當時人民正在圍攻培肋舍特人的基貝通，
16 and the people in the camp heard that Zimri had not only conspired but had also struck down the king. So there in the camp that very day, all Israel proclaimed Omri, the commander of the army, king over Israel.
消息傳到營中說：齊默黎已經叛變，擊殺了君王，全以色列人當天即在營中，選立了軍長敖默黎作以色列王。
17 Then Omri and all the Israelites marched up from Gibbethon and besieged Tirzah.
敖默黎和與他在一起的全以色列人，從基貝通上去圍攻提爾匝。
18 When Zimri saw that the city was captured, he entered the citadel of the royal palace and burned it down upon himself. So he died
齊默黎一見城已失陷，即走進王宮的城堡，縱火焚燒王宮，自焚而死。
19 because of the sins he had committed, doing evil in the sight of the LORD and following the example of Jeroboam and the sin he had committed and had caused Israel to commit.
這是因為他所犯的罪惡，行了上主視為惡的事，走了雅洛貝罕的路，並以自己所犯的罪，使以色列陷於罪惡。
20 As for the rest of the acts of Zimri and the treason he committed, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
齊默黎其餘的事蹟，暗殺叛變的事，都記載在以色列列王實錄。
21 At that time the people of Israel were divided: Half of the people supported Tibni son of Ginath as king, and half supported Omri.
那時，以色列人民分裂為二：一半跟隨基納特的兒子提貝尼，要立他為王；一半跟隨敖默黎。
22 But the followers of Omri proved stronger than those of Tibni son of Ginath. So Tibni died and Omri became king.
跟隨敖默黎的人勝過了跟隨基納特的兒子提貝尼的人；提貝尼死後，敖默黎便作了王。敖默黎為以色列王
23 In the thirty-first year of Asa’s reign over Judah, Omri became king of Israel, and he reigned twelve years, six of them in Tirzah.
猶大王阿撒三十一年，敖默黎登極作以色列王，在位凡十二年，其中六年在提爾匝。
24 He bought the hill of Samaria from Shemer for two talents of silver and built a city there, calling it Samaria after the name of Shemer, who had owned the hill.
敖默黎用兩「塔冷通」銀子，由舍默爾手中買下了芍默龍山。他修建了這座山，依照山的原主舍默爾的名字，給他所建築的城起名叫「撒瑪黎雅。」
25 But Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD and acted more wickedly than all who were before him.
敖默黎行了上主視為惡的事，甚至比他以前的人更為邪惡。
26 For he walked in all the ways of Jeroboam son of Nebat and in his sins, which he caused Israel to commit, provoking the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger with their worthless idols.
事事仿效乃巴特的兒子雅洛貝罕所走的路，犯了更使以色列陷於罪惡的罪，又敬拜邪神偶像，激怒上主，以色列的天主。
27 As for the rest of the acts of Omri, along with his accomplishments and the might he exercised, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
敖默黎其餘的事蹟，他的作為和功蹟，都記載在以色列列王實錄上。
28 And Omri rested with his fathers and was buried in Samaria, and his son Ahab reigned in his place.
敖默黎與列祖同眠，葬在撒瑪黎雅；他的兒子阿哈布繼位為王。阿哈布為以色列王
29 In the thirty-eighth year of Asa’s reign over Judah, Ahab son of Omri became king of Israel, and he reigned in Samaria twenty-two years.
猶大王阿撒三十八年，敖默黎的兒子阿哈布登極作以色列王。敖默黎的兒子阿哈布在撒瑪黎雅作以色列王，凡二十二年。
30 However, Ahab son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD, more than all who were before him.
敖默黎的兒子阿哈布行了上主視為惡的事，甚於他以前的人。
31 And as if it were not enough for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, he even married Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and he then proceeded to serve and worship Baal.
他走了乃巴特的兒子雅洛貝罕犯罪的路，尚以為是小事，又娶了漆冬王厄特巴耳的女兒依則貝耳為妻，親自去服事敬拜巴耳，
32 First, Ahab set up an altar for Baal in the temple of Baal that he had built in Samaria.
在撒瑪黎雅為巴耳建築了一座廟宇，廟內為巴耳設立了一座祭壇。
33 Then he set up an Asherah pole. Thus Ahab did more to provoke the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger than all the kings of Israel before him.
阿哈布又立了阿舍辣；阿哈布行事激怒上主，以色列的天主，尤甚於他以前的以色列王。
34 In Ahab’s days, Hiel the Bethelite rebuilt Jericho. At the cost of Abiram his firstborn he laid its foundation, and at the cost of Segub his youngest he set up its gates, according to the word that the LORD had spoken through Joshua son of Nun.
他在位的時候，貝特耳人希耳重建了耶里哥；奠基的時候，死了長子阿彼蘭；安門的時候，死了幼子色古布：這正應驗了上主藉農的兒子若蘇厄所說的話。
