< 1 John 5 >

1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves those born of Him.
Au pi Jesuh cun Mesijah ni tia jumki naküt cun Pamhnama caa kyaki. Au pi a pa mhläkphyanaki naw a Ca pi mhläkphyanaki.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep His commandments.
Pamhnama canae mi jah mhläkphyanak mi ksingnak ta: Pamhnam mhläkphya na lü a ngthupete jah läklame hin ni.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome,
A ngthupete jah läklam cun Pamhnam mhläkphyanak ni. A ngthupete pi pyanki ti am ve.
4 because everyone born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.
Isetiüng, Pamhnama ca naküt naw khawmdek cun a näng päng ni. Khawmdek nängnak cun pi mi jumnaka phäh ni.
5 Who then overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
U naw khawmdek näng khawh khai ni? Jesuh hin Pamhnama Ca ni ti lü jumeikie däk naw khawmdek ami näng khawh.
6 This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ—not by water alone, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies to this, because the Spirit is the truth.
Jesuh Khritaw cun a thihnaka thisen ja baptican a khannaka tui am lawki ni. Tui däk am lawki am ni, tui ja thisen am lawki ni. Ngmüimkhya amät naw cangki tia saksiki. Isetiüng, ngmüimkhya cun ngthu kcang ni.
7 For there are three that testify:
Saksiki mjü kthum veki,
8 the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and these three are in agreement.
Ngmüimkhya, tui ja thisena kyaki he. Ami kthuma saksi cun täng päihki.
9 Even if we accept human testimony, the testimony of God is greater. For this is the testimony that God has given about His Son.
Khyanga saksi mi jumki, cunüngpi Pamhnama saksi mi jum bawki. Acunakyase, a Capaa mawng cun a saksinak ni.
10 Whoever believes in the Son of God has this testimony within him; whoever does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given about His Son.
Pamhnama Caa jumeiki naküt naw ahina saksi hin a mlung k’uma taeiki. Cunüngpi, Pamhnam am jumeiki naküt naw Pamhnam hleisakie ni. Isetiüng, Pamhnam naw a Caa mawng a pyen cun am a juma phäh ni.
11 And this is that testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. (aiōnios g166)
Saksinak ta: Pamhnam naw angsäia xünnak jah pe ve, angsäia xünnak cun a Capa üng ni a ngphungei ta. (aiōnios g166)
12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
A Capa yaheiki naküt naw xünnak yahki. Pamhnama Capa am yaheiki naw ta xünnak am yah.
13 I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Pamhnama Ca jumeiki naküt naw angsäia xünnak yahki ti nami ksing vaia phäh ahina kca ka ning jah yuk law ni. (aiōnios g166)
14 And this is the confidence that we have before Him: If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
A hlüeia mi täsamnak naküt üng jah cungaih petki tia mi ksinga phäh, Pamhnama maa mkhüh üpnak mi taki.
15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him.
Mi täsam naküt jah ngja lü, ahin hin cangki tia mi ksinga phäh, ania vei mi täsam naküt jah pe khaia pi mi ksingki.
16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he should ask God, who will give life to those who commit this kind of sin. There is a sin that leads to death; I am not saying he should ask regarding that sin.
Jumeiki mat naw thihnaka am kpha khaia mkhyenak pawh se na hmuh üng, ani üng xünnak pe khai Pamhnama veia na ktaiyü vai. Acun cun thihnaka am jah kpha khai mkhyenak pawhkiea khana ni a kya kawm. Acunüngpi, thihnaka jah kpha khaia mkhyenak veki. Acuna phäh Pamhnama veia na ktaiyü vai ka pyen am ni.
17 All unrighteousness is sin, yet there is sin that does not lead to death.
Akse pawhnak naküt cun mkhyenak ni. Cunüngpi, thihnaka am jah kpha khaia mkhyenak veki.
18 We know that anyone born of God does not keep on sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot touch him.
Pamhnama cana naküt naw mkhyenak am pawh be ti ti cun mi ksingki. Pamhnama Capa naw jah yungkaih lü khawyaipa naw am nängpang khawh.
19 We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one.
Khawmdek avan hin Khawyaipaa uknaka kea ve kyaw lüpi, Pamhnam üng mi sängeiki tia mi ksingki.
20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Pamhnama Capa cun law päng lü, ani naw ksingkhyapnak jah pe lawki tia mi ksingki. Acuna phäh, Pamhnam Kcang cun mi ksingki. Pamhnam Kcang üng mi xüngsei lü, a Capa Jesuh Khritaw üng pi mi yümmatki. Ani ni Pamhnam Kcanga kya lü angsäia xünnaka pi kyaki. (aiōnios g166)
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
Ka canae aw, mhnam kcang am nikie üng käh ngpüi hü u bä.
