1 Chronicles 9
1 So all Israel was recorded in the genealogies written in the Book of the Kings of Israel. But Judah was exiled to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.
E todo Israel foi contado por genealogias, e eis que foram escritos no livro dos Reis de Israel e de Judá, que foram transportados para a Babilônia por causa de sua transgressão.
2 Now the first to resettle their own property in their cities were Israelites, priests, Levites, and temple servants.
E os primeiros habitantes que vieram a suas propriedades em suas cidades, foram os israelitas, os sacerdotes, os levitas, e os servos do templo.
3 These were some of the descendants of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh who lived in Jerusalem:
Porém em Jerusalém habitaram [alguns] dos filhos de Judá, dos filhos de Benjamim, dos filhos de Efraim e de Manassés;
4 Uthai son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, a descendant of Perez son of Judah.
Utai, filho de Amiúde, filho de Onri, filho de Inri, filho de Bani, dos filhos de Perez filho de Judá.
5 From the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
E dos silonitas: Asaías o primogênito, e seus filhos.
6 From the Zerahites: Jeuel and 690 relatives.
E dos filhos de Zerá, Jeuel e seus irmãos, seiscentos e noventa.
7 From the Benjamites: Sallu son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;
E dos filhos de Benjamim: Salu, filho de Mesulão, filho de Hodavias, filho de Hassenua;
8 Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, the son of Michri; Meshullam son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;
E Ibneias, filho de Jeroão; e Elá filho de Uzi, filho de Micri; e Mesulão filho de Sefatias, filho de Reuel, filho de Ibneias.
9 and 956 of their relatives according to their genealogy. All these men were heads of their families.
E seus irmãos, segundo suas genealogias, foram novecentos e cinquenta e seis; todos estes homens foram cabeças das famílias de seus pais.
10 From the priests: Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, and Jachin;
E dos sacerdotes: Jedaías, Jeoiaribe, Jaquim;
11 Azariah son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the chief official of God’s temple;
E Azarias filho de Hilquias, filho de Mesulão, filho de Zadoque, filho de Meraiote, filho de Aitube, príncipe da casa de Deus;
12 Adaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah; Maasai son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
E Adaías filho de Jeroão, filho de Pasur, filho de Malquias; e Masai filho de Adiel, filho de Jazera, filho de Mesulão, filho de Mesilemite, filho de Imer;
13 and 1,760 of their relatives, the heads of their families, able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
Como também seus irmãos, cabeças das famílias de seus pais, mil setecentos e sessenta, homens valentes e hábeis para a obra do serviço da casa de Deus.
14 From the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, a descendant of Merari;
E dos Levitas: Semaías, filho de Hassube, filho de Azricão, filho de Hasabias, dos filhos de Merari;
15 Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;
E Baquebacar, Heres, Galal, e Matanias filho de Mica, filho de Zicri, filho de Asafe;
16 Obadiah son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechiah son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.

17 These were the gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman, and their relatives. Shallum was their chief;

18 he was previously stationed at the King’s Gate on the east side. These were the gatekeepers from the camp of the Levites.
(O qual até agora fica junto à porta do rei ao oriente). Estes foram os porteiros do acampamento dos filhos de Levi.
19 Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his relatives from the Korahites were assigned to guard the thresholds of the Tent, just as their fathers had been assigned to guard the entrance to the dwelling of the LORD.
E Salum, filho de Coré, filho de Ebiasafe, filho de Corá, e seus irmãos da família de seu pai, os coraítas, foram encarregados da obra do serviço, guardando os umbrais do tabernáculo; assim como seus pais foram capitães do acampamento do SENHOR, que guardavam a entrada.
20 In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar had been in charge of the gatekeepers, and the LORD was with him.
E Fineias, filho de Eleazar, havia sido antes comandante sobre eles, e o SENHOR era com ele.
21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
E Zacarias, filho de Meselemias, era porteiro da porta da tenda do ajuntamento.
22 The number of those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds was 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. David and Samuel the seer had appointed them to their positions of trust.
Todos estes, escolhidos para porteiros dos umbrais, foram duzentos e doze; e estes foram registrados em suas genealogias, segundo suas aldeias; e Davi e o vidente Samuel os constituíram em seu ofício.
23 So they and their descendants were assigned to guard the gates of the house of the LORD—the house called the Tent.
Assim eles e seus filhos estiveram junto às portas da casa do SENHOR, a casa do Tabernáculo, como guardas.
24 The gatekeepers were stationed on the four sides: east, west, north, and south.
Os porteiros estavam aos quatro ventos: ao oriente, ao ocidente, ao norte, e ao sul.
25 Their relatives came from their villages at fixed times to serve with them for seven-day periods.
E seus irmãos que estavam em suas aldeias vinham de tempos em tempos para durante sete dias [servirem] com eles.
26 But the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the rooms and the treasuries of the house of God.
Pois havia naquele ofício chefes dos porteiros, que eram levitas; e eles eram encarregados das câmaras e dos tesouros da casa de Deus.
27 They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they were responsible for guarding it and opening it every morning.
E passavam a noite ao redor da casa de Deus, porque eram responsáveis pela guarda, e por abri-la a cada manhã.
28 Some of them were in charge of the articles used in worship, to count them whenever they were brought in or taken out.
Alguns destes eram encarregados dos utensílios do serviço, pois os colocavam contados, e contados os tiravam.
29 Others were put in charge of the furnishings and other articles of the sanctuary, as well as the fine flour, wine, oil, frankincense, and spices.

30 And some of the sons of the priests mixed the spices.

31 A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with baking the bread.

32 Some of their Kohathite brothers were responsible for preparing the rows of the showbread every Sabbath.

33 Those who were musicians, the heads of Levite families, stayed in the temple chambers and were exempt from other duties because they were on duty day and night.

34 All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs according to their genealogies, and they lived in Jerusalem.
Estes foram os cabeças das famílias dos levitas, cabeças em suas genealogias, os quais habitaram em Jerusalém.
35 Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah.
E em Gibeão habitaram: Jeiel, pai de Gibeão (e o nome de sua mulher era Maaca);
36 Abdon was his firstborn son, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
E seu filho primogênito Abdom, depois Zur, Quis, Baal, Ner, Nadabe,
37 Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.

38 Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They too lived alongside their relatives in Jerusalem.

39 Ner was the father of Kish, Kish was the father of Saul, and Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

40 The son of Jonathan: Merib-baal, who was the father of Micah.

41 The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.
E os filhos de Mica foram: Pitom, Meleque, Tareia,
42 Ahaz was the father of Jarah; Jarah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri was the father of Moza.

43 Moza was the father of Binea. Rephaiah was his son, Elasah his son, and Azel his son.

44 And Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
