1 The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

൧ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗേർശോൻ, കെഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി.

2 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

൨കെഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്രാം, യിസ്ഹാർ, ഹെബ്രോൻ, ഉസ്സീയേൽ.

3 The children of Amram: Aaron, Moses, and Miriam. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

൩അമ്രാമിന്റെ മക്കൾ: അഹരോൻ, മോശെ, മിര്യാം, അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: നാദാബ്, അബീഹൂ, എലെയാസാർ, ഈഥാമാർ.

4 Eleazar was the father of Phinehas, Phinehas was the father of Abishua,

൪എലെയാസാർ ഫീനെഹാസിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഫീനെഹാസ് അബീശൂവയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

5 Abishua was the father of Bukki, Bukki was the father of Uzzi,

൫അബീശൂവ ബുക്കിയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ബുക്കി ഉസ്സിയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

6 Uzzi was the father of Zerahiah, Zerahiah was the father of Meraioth,

൬ഉസ്സി സെരഹ്യാവെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സെരഹ്യാവ് മെരായോത്തിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

7 Meraioth was the father of Amariah, Amariah was the father of Ahitub,

൭മെരായോത്ത് അമര്യാവെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

8 Ahitub was the father of Zadok, Zadok was the father of Ahimaaz,

൮അമര്യാവ് അഹിത്തൂബിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അഹീത്തൂബ് സാദോക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സാദോക്ക് അഹീമാസിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

9 Ahimaaz was the father of Azariah, Azariah was the father of Johanan,

൯അഹിമാസ് അസര്യാവെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അസര്യാവ് യോഹാനാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

10 Johanan was the father of Azariah, who served as priest in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem,

൧൦യോഹാനാൻ അസര്യാവെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇവനാകുന്നു ശലോമോൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ പണിത ആലയത്തിൽ പൗരോഹിത്യം നടത്തിയത്.

11 Azariah was the father of Amariah, Amariah was the father of Ahitub,

൧൧അസര്യാവ് അമര്യാവെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അമര്യാവ് അഹീത്തൂബിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

12 Ahitub was the father of Zadok, Zadok was the father of Shallum,

൧൨അഹീത്തൂബ് സാദോക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സാദോക്ക് ശല്ലൂമിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

13 Shallum was the father of Hilkiah, Hilkiah was the father of Azariah,

൧൩ശല്ലൂം ഹില്ക്കീയാവെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഹില്ക്കീയാവ് അസര്യാവെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;

14 Azariah was the father of Seraiah, and Seraiah was the father of Jehozadak.

൧൪അസര്യാവ് സെരായാവെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സെരായാവ് യെഹോസാദാക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

15 Jehozadak went into captivity when the LORD sent Judah and Jerusalem into exile by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

൧൫യഹോവാ നെബൂഖദ്നേസ്സർ മുഖാന്തരം യെഹൂദയെയും യെരൂശലേമിനെയും പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോയപ്പോൾ യെഹോസാദാക്കും പോകേണ്ടിവന്നു.

16 The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

൧൬ലേവിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗെർശോം, കെഹാത്ത്, മെരാരി.

17 These are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

൧൭ഗെർശോമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ പേരുകൾ: ലിബ്നി, ശിമെയി.

18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

൧൮കെഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അമ്രാം, യിസ്ഹാർ, ഹെബ്രോൻ, ഉസ്സീയേൽ.

19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of the Levites listed according to their fathers:

൧൯മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മഹ്ലി, മൂശി.

20 Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

൨൦ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിൻപ്രകാരം അവരുടെ കുലങ്ങൾ ഇവ തന്നേ. ഗെർശോമിന്റെ മകൻ ലിബ്നി; അവന്റെ മകൻ യഹത്ത്; അവന്റെ മകൻ സിമ്മാ;

21 Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, and Jeatherai his son.

൨൧അവന്റെ മകൻ യോവാഹ്; അവന്റെ മകൻ ഇദ്ദോ; അവന്റെ മകൻ സേരഹ്; അവന്റെ മകൻ യെയഥ്രായി.

22 The descendants of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

൨൨കെഹാത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അവന്റെ മകൻ അമ്മീനാദാബ്; അവന്റെ മകൻ കോരഹ്; അവന്റെ മകൻ അസ്സീർ;

23 Elkanah his son, Ebiasaph his son, Assir his son,

൨൩അവന്റെ മകൻ എൽക്കാനാ; അവന്റെ മകൻ എബ്യാസാഫ്; അവന്റെ മകൻ അസ്സീർ;

24 Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

25 The descendants of Elkanah: Amasai, Ahimoth,

26 Elkanah his son, Zophai his son, Nahath his son,

27 Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, and Elkanah his son.

28 The sons of Samuel: Joel his firstborn and Abijah his second son.

൨൮ശമൂവേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ആദ്യജാതൻ യോവേൽ, രണ്ടാമൻ അബീയാവ്.

29 The descendants of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

൨൯മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: മഹ്ലി; അവന്റെ മകൻ ലിബ്നി; അവന്റെ മകൻ ശിമെയി; അവന്റെ മകൻ ഉസ്സാ;

30 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, and Asaiah his son.

൩൦അവന്റെ മകൻ ശിമെയാ; അവന്റെ മകൻ ഹഗ്ഗീയാവ്; അവന്റെ മകൻ അസായാവ്.

31 These are the men David put in charge of the music in the house of the LORD after the ark rested there.

൩൧പെട്ടകം ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം ദാവീദ് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ സംഗീതശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്ക് നിയമിച്ചവർ ഇവരാകുന്നു.

32 They ministered with song before the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, until Solomon built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem. And they performed their duties according to the regulations given them.

൩൨അവർ ശലോമോൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം പണിതതുവരെ, തിരുനിവാസമായ സാമഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന് മുമ്പിൽ സംഗീതശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്തു; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ക്രമപ്രകാരം ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്തുപോന്നു.

33 These are the men who served, together with their sons. From the Kohathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

൩൩തങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരോടുകൂടെ ശുശ്രൂഷിച്ചവർ: കെഹാത്യരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ സംഗീതക്കാരനായ ഹേമാൻ; അവൻ യോവേലിന്റെ മകൻ; യോവേൽ ശമൂവേലിന്റെ മകൻ;

34 the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

൩൪അവൻ എല്‍ക്കാനായുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ എലീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ തോഹയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ സൂഫിന്റെ മകൻ;

35 the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

൩൫അവൻ എല്ക്കാനയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ മഹത്തിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ അമാസായിയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ എല്ക്കാനയുടെ മകൻ;

36 the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

൩൬അവൻ യോവേലിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ അസര്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ സെഫന്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ;

37 the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

൩൭അവൻ തഹത്തിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ അസ്സീരിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ എബ്യാസാഫിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ കോരഹിന്റെ മകൻ;

38 the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

൩൮അവൻ യിസ്ഹാരിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ കെഹാത്തിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ ലേവിയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ മകൻ;

39 Heman’s kinsman was Asaph, who served at his right hand: Asaph the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,

൩൯അവന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന അവന്റെ സഹോദരൻ ആസാഫ്: ആസാഫ് ബെരെഖ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ ശിമെയയുടെ മകൻ;

40 the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah,

൪൦അവൻ മീഖായേലിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ ബയശേയാവിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ മല്‍ക്കിയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ എത്നിയുടെ മകൻ;

41 the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,

൪൧അവൻ സേരഹിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ അദായാവിന്റെ മകൻ;

42 the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,

൪൨അവൻ ഏഥാന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ സിമ്മയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ ശിമെയിയുടെ മകൻ;

43 the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

൪൩അവൻ യഹത്തിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ ഗെർശോമിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ ലേവിയുടെ മകൻ.

44 On the left were their kinsmen, the sons of Merari: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

൪൪അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ മെരാരിയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഇടത്തുഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന്; കീശിയുടെ മകൻ ഏഥാൻ; അവൻ അബ്ദിയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ മല്ലൂക്കിന്റെ മകൻ;

45 the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

൪൫അവൻ ഹശബ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ അമസ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ ഹില്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകൻ;

46 the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,

൪൬അവൻ അംസിയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ ബാനിയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ ശാമെരിന്റെ മകൻ; അവൻ മഹ്ലിയുടെ മകൻ.

47 the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

൪൭അവൻ മൂശിയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ മെരാരിയുടെ മകൻ; അവൻ ലേവിയുടെ മകൻ.

48 Their fellow Levites were assigned to every kind of service of the tabernacle, the house of God.

൪൮അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ലേവ്യർ ദൈവാലയമായ തിരുനിവാസത്തിലെ സകലശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്കും നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.

49 But Aaron and his sons did all the work of the Most Holy Place. They presented the offerings on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

൪൯എന്നാൽ അഹരോനും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും ഹോമയാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേലും ധൂപപീഠത്തിന്മേലും ബലി അർപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ അതിവിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തിലെ സകലശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്കും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശെ കല്പിച്ചപ്രകാരമൊക്കെയും യിസ്രായേലിനുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ചെയ്യുവാനും നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.

50 These were the descendants of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

൫൦അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അവന്റെ മകൻ എലെയാസാർ; അവന്റെ മകൻ ഫീനെഹാസ്; അവന്റെ മകൻ അബീശൂവ;

51 Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

൫൧അവന്റെ മകൻ ബുക്കി; അവന്റെ മകൻ ഉസ്സി; അവന്റെ മകൻ സെരഹ്യാവു; അവന്റെ മകൻ മെരായോത്ത്;

52 Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

൫൨അവന്റെ മകൻ അമര്യാവു; അവന്റെ മകൻ അഹീത്തൂബ്;

53 Zadok his son, and Ahimaaz his son.

൫൩അവന്റെ മകൻ സാദോക്; അവന്റെ മകൻ അഹീമാസ്.

54 Now these were the territories assigned to the descendants of Aaron from the Kohathite clan for their settlements, because the first lot fell to them:

൫൪ഗ്രാമംഗ്രാമമായി അഹരോന്റെ പിന്തുടർച്ചക്കാരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങൾ: കെഹാത്യരുടെ കുലമായ അഹരോന്യർക്ക്

55 They were given Hebron in the land of Judah and its surrounding pasturelands.

൫൫ഒന്നാമത് ചീട്ട് വീണു. അവർക്ക് യെഹൂദാദേശത്ത് ഹെബ്രോനും ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കൊടുത്തു.

56 But the fields and villages around the city were given to Caleb son of Jephunneh.

൫൬എന്നാൽ പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ വയലുകളും അതിനോട് ചേർന്ന ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും യെഫുന്നെയുടെ മകനായ കാലേബിന് കൊടുത്തു.

57 So the descendants of Aaron were given Hebron (a city of refuge), Libnah, Jattir, Eshtemoa,

൫൭അഹരോന്റെ മക്കൾക്ക് അവർ സങ്കേതനഗരമായ ഹെബ്രോനും ലിബ്നയും അതിന്റെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും യത്ഥീരും എസ്തെമോവയും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

58 Hilen, Debir,

൫൮ഹീലോനും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും, ദെബീരും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

59 Ashan, Juttah, and Beth-shemesh, together with their pasturelands.

൫൯ആശാനും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ബേത്ത്-ശേമെശും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും;

60 And from the tribe of Benjamin they were given Gibeon, Geba, Alemeth, and Anathoth, together with their pasturelands. So they had thirteen cities in all among their families.

൬൦ബെന്യാമീൻ ഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഗിബയും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അല്ലേമെത്തും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അനാഥോത്തും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കൊടുത്തു. കുലംകുലമായി അവർക്ക് കിട്ടിയ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ആകെ പതിമൂന്ന്.

61 To the rest of the Kohathites, ten cities were allotted from the half-tribe of Manasseh.

൬൧കെഹാത്തിന്റെ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ ബാക്കിയുള്ള മക്കൾക്ക്, മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിൽ നിന്ന്, ചീട്ടിട്ടു പത്ത് പട്ടണങ്ങൾ കൊടുത്തു.

62 The Gershomites, according to their clans, were allotted thirteen cities from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and Manasseh in Bashan.

൬൨ഗെർശോമിന്റെ മക്കൾക്ക് കുലംകുലമായി യിസ്സാഖാർ ഗോത്രത്തിലും ആശേർഗോത്രത്തിലും; നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തിലും ബാശാനിലെ മനശ്ശെഗോത്രത്തിലും പതിമൂന്ന് പട്ടണങ്ങൾ കൊടുത്തു.

63 The Merarites, according to their families, were allotted twelve cities from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.

൬൩മെരാരിയുടെ മക്കൾക്ക് കുലംകുലമായി രൂബേൻ ഗോത്രത്തിലും ഗാദ്ഗോത്രത്തിലും സെബൂലൂൻ ഗോത്രത്തിലും ചീട്ടിട്ട് പന്ത്രണ്ട് പട്ടണങ്ങൾ കൊടുത്തു.

64 So the Israelites gave to the Levites these cities and their pasturelands.

൬൪യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾ ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ലേവ്യർക്ക് കൊടുത്തു.

65 They assigned by lot the cities named above from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.

൬൫യെഹൂദാമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിലും ശിമെയോൻമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിലും ബെന്യാമീൻ മക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിലും പേർ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങളെ ചീട്ടിട്ട് കൊടുത്തു.

66 And some of the clans of the Kohathites were given cities from the tribe of Ephraim for their territory:

൬൬കെഹാത്ത് മക്കളുടെ ചില കുലങ്ങൾക്കോ എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തിൽ തങ്ങൾക്ക് അധീനമായ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ കൊടുത്തു.

67 They were given Shechem (a city of refuge) with its pasturelands in the hill country of Ephraim, and Gezer,

൬൭സങ്കേതനഗരങ്ങളായ എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിലെ ശെഖേമും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഗേസെരും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും യൊക്മെയാമും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

68 Jokmeam, Beth-horon,

൬൮ബേത്ത്-ഹോരോനും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

69 Aijalon, and Gath-rimmon, together with their pasturelands.

൬൯അയ്യാലോനും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഗത്ത്-രിമ്മോനും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

70 And from the half-tribe of Manasseh the remaining clans of the Kohathites were given Aner and Bileam, together with their pasturelands.

൭൦മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിൽ ആനേരും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ബിലെയാമും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കെഹാത്യരുടെ ശേഷം കുലങ്ങൾക്ക് കൊടുത്തു.

71 The Gershomites received the following: From the clan of the half-tribe of Manasseh they were given Golan in Bashan and also Ashtaroth, together with their pasturelands.

൭൧ഗെർശോമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കു മനശ്ശെയുടെ പാതിഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ കുലത്തിൽ ബാശാനിൽ ഗോലാനും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അസ്തരോത്തും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും;

72 From the tribe of Issachar they were given Kedesh, Daberath,

൭൨യിസ്സാഖാർ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ കാദേശും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ദാബെരത്തും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

73 Ramoth, and Anem, together with their pasturelands.

൭൩രാമോത്തും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ആനേമും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും;

74 From the tribe of Asher they were given Mashal, Abdon,

൭൪ആശേർ ഗോത്രത്തിൽ മാശാലും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും അബ്ദോനും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

75 Hukok, and Rehob, together with their pasturelands.

൭൫ഹൂക്കോക്കും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും രഹോബും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും

76 And from the tribe of Naphtali they were given Kedesh in Galilee, Hammon, and Kiriathaim, together with their pasturelands.

൭൬നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തിൽ ഗലീലയിലെ കാദേശും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും ഹമ്മോനും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കിര്യഥയീമും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കൊടുത്തു.

77 The Merarites (the rest of the Levites) received the following: From the tribe of Zebulun they were given Rimmono and Tabor, together with their pasturelands.

൭൭മെരാരിപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ശേഷമുള്ളവർക്ക് സെബൂലൂൻഗോത്രത്തിൽ രിമ്മോനോവും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും താബോരും പുല്പുറങ്ങളും;

78 From the tribe of Reuben east of the Jordan opposite Jericho they were given Bezer in the wilderness, Jahzah,
