1 The descendants of Judah: Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur, and Shobal.
ಯೆಹೂದನ ವಂಶಜರು: ಪೆರೆಚನು, ಹೆಚ್ರೋನನು, ಕರ್ಮೀ, ಹೂರನು, ಶೋಬಾಲನು.
2 Reaiah son of Shobal was the father of Jahath, and Jahath was the father of Ahumai and Lahad. These were the clans of the Zorathites.
ಶೋಬಾಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ರೆವಾಯನು ಯಹತನ ತಂದೆ. ಯಹತನು ಅಹೂಮೈ ಮತ್ತು ಲಹದ್ ಎಂಬವರ ತಂದೆ. ಇವರೇ ಚೊರ್‍ರದ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು.
3 These were the sons of Etam: Jezreel, Ishma, and Idbash. And their sister was named Hazzelelponi.
ಏಟಾಮನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಇಜ್ರೆಯೇಲ್, ಇಷ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಇಬ್ಬಾಷ್ ಮತ್ತು ಇವರ ತಂಗಿ ಹಚೆಲೆಲ್‌ಪೋನೀ ಎಂಬವರು.
4 Penuel was the father of Gedor, and Ezer was the father of Hushah. These were the descendants of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah and the father of Bethlehem.
ಪೆನೂಯೇಲ್, ಗೆದೋರ್ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಏಜೆರ್ ಹೂಷಾಹರ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇವರು ಎಫ್ರಾತಾಹ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಮಗನಾದ ಹೂರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು; ಈ ಹೂರನೇ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮ್ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ಮೂಲಪುರುಷನು.
5 Ashhur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.
ತೆಕೋವದ ತಂದೆ ಅಷ್ಹೂರನಿಗೆ ಹೆಲಾಹ, ನಾರ ಎಂಬ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪತ್ನಿಯರಿದ್ದರು.
6 Naarah bore to him Ahuzzam, Hepher, Temeni, and Haahashtari. These were the descendants of Naarah.
ನಾರಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಹುಜ್ಜಾಮ್, ಹೇಫೆರ್, ತೇಮಾನಿ, ಅಹಷ್ಟಾರ್ಯನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು. ಇವರೇ ನಾರಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು.
7 The sons of Helah were Zereth, Zohar, Ethnan,
ಹೆಲಾಹಳ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಚೆರೆತ್, ಇಚ್ಹಾರ್, ಎತ್ನಾನ್.
8 and Koz, who was the father of Anub and Zobebah and of the clans of Aharhel son of Harum.
ಕೋಚನು ಅನೂಬ್‌ನನ್ನೂ, ಚೊಬೇಬನನ್ನೂ, ಹಾರುಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹರ‍್ಹೇಲನ ಸಂತತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದನು.
9 Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”
ಯಾಬೇಚನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗಿಂತ ಘನವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ, “ನಾನು ಇವನನ್ನು ವ್ಯಥೆಯಿಂದ ಹೆತ್ತೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯಾಬೇಚನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
10 And Jabez called out to the God of Israel, “If only You would bless me and enlarge my territory! May Your hand be with me and keep me from harm, so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted the request of Jabez.
ಆದರೆ ಯಾಬೇಚನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಬೇಕು; ನನ್ನ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಬೇಕು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಸ್ತವು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವ್ಯಥೆಪಡಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಡಿನಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟನು. ದೇವರು ಅವನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.
11 Chelub the brother of Shuhah was the father of Mehir, who was the father of Eshton.
ಶೂಹನ ಸಹೋದರ ಕೆಲೂಬನು ಎಷ್ಟೋನನ ತಂದೆ ಮೆಹೀರನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.
12 Eshton was the father of Beth-rapha, of Paseah, and of Tehinnah the father of Ir-nahash. These were the men of Recah.
ಎಷ್ಟೋನನಿಂದ ಬೇತ್ ರಾಫಾ, ಪಾಸೇಹ, ತೆಹಿನ್ನ ಎಂಬ ಮೂವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇದ್ದರು. ತೆಹಿನ್ನ ನಾಹಷ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕ. ಈ ಜನರ ವಂಶಜರು ರೇಕಾ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
13 The sons of Kenaz: Othniel and Seraiah. The sons of Othniel: Hathath and Meonothai.
ಕೆನಾಜನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಒತ್ನಿಯೇಲನು ಸೆರಾಯನು. ಒತ್ನಿಯೇಲನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಹತತ್ ಹಾಗು ಮೆಯೋನೋತೈ.
14 Meonothai was the father of Ophrah, and Seraiah was the father of Joab, the father of those living in Ge-harashim, which was given this name because its people were craftsmen.
ಮೆಯೋನೋತೈ ಒಫ್ರಾಹನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು. ಸೆರಾಯನು ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗರಾಗಿರುವ ಗೇಹರಾಷೀಮರ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನ ತಂದೆ. ಈ ಜನರು ಕೈಕೆಲಸದವರಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಗೇಹರಾಷೀಮರು ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಬಂತು.
15 The sons of Caleb son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam. The son of Elah: Kenaz.
ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕಾಲೇಬನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಈರು, ಏಲ, ನಾಮ್ ಎಂಬವರು; ಏಲನ ಮಗನು ಕೆನಜ್.
16 The sons of Jehallelel: Ziph, Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.
ಯೆಹಲ್ಲೆಲೇಲನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಜೀಫನು, ಜಿಫಾಹನು, ತೀರ್ಯನು, ಅಸರೇಲನು.
17 The sons of Ezrah: Jether, Mered, Epher, and Jalon. And Mered’s wife Bithiah gave birth to Miriam, Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
ಎಜ್ರನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಯೆತೆರ್, ಮೆರೆದ್, ಏಫೆರ್, ಯಾಲೋನ್ ಎಂಬವರು. ಮೇರದನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮ್, ಶಮ್ಮಾಯ, ಎಷ್ಟೆಮೋವನ ತಂದೆ ಇಷ್ಬಾಹನನ್ನೂ ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
18 These were the children of Pharaoh’s daughter Bithiah. Mered also took a Judean wife, who gave birth to Jered the father of Gedor, Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah.
ಇವರು ಮೆರೆದನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ಫರೋಹನ ಮಗಳು ಬಿತ್ಯಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯಳಾದ ಅವನ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಹೆಂಡತಿ, ಗೆದೋರ್ಯನ ತಂದೆ ಯೆರೆದನನ್ನೂ, ಸೋಕೋವಿನ ತಂದೆ ಹೆಬೆರನನ್ನೂ, ಜಾನೋಹನ ತಂದೆ ಯೆಕೂತೀಯೇಲನನ್ನೂ ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
19 The sons of Hodiah’s wife, the sister of Naham, were the fathers of Keilah the Garmite and of Eshtemoa the Maacathite.
ಹೋದೀಯನು ನಹಮನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದನು. ಇವರ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ಕೆಯೀಲದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ ಗರ್ಮ್ಯ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಮತ್ತು ಎಷ್ಟೆಮೋವಾಬದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ ಮಾಕಾತ್ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಪೂರ್ವಜರು.
20 The sons of Shimon: Amnon, Rinnah, Ben-hanan, and Tilon. The descendants of Ishi: Zoheth and Ben-zoheth.
ಶೀಮೋನನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಅಮ್ನೋನನು, ರಿನ್ನನು, ಬೆನ್ಹನಾನನು, ತಿಲೋನನು. ಇಷ್ಷೀಯನ ಸಂತತಿ: ಜೋಹೆತನು, ಬೆನ್ ಜೋಹೆತನು.
21 The sons of Shelah son of Judah: Er the father of Lecah, Laadah the father of Mareshah and the clans of the linen workers at Beth-ashbea,
ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮಗ ಶೇಲಹನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಲೇಕಾಹ್ಯನ ತಂದೆ ಏರನು, ಮಾರೇಷನ ತಂದೆ ಲದ್ದ; ಬೇತ್ ಅಷ್ಬೇಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ ನೇಕಾರರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳವರು,
22 Jokim, the men of Cozeba, and Joash and Saraph, who ruled in Moab and Jashubi-lehem. (These names are from ancient records.)
ಕೋಜೇಬದವರಾದ ಯೊಕೀಮ್ಯರೂ, ಯೋವಾಷನು, ಸಾರಾಫ ಮೋವಾಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಷೂಬಿ ಲೆಹೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಬಂದವು.
23 These were the potters who lived at Netaim and Gederah. They lived there in the service of the king.
ಇವರೇ ನೆಟಾಯಿಮ್, ಗೆದೇರ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕುಂಬಾರರು. ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದು ಅರಸನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
24 The descendants of Simeon: Nemuel, Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, and Shaul.
ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ವಂಶಜರು: ನೆಮೂಯೇಲನು, ಯಾಮೀನನು, ಯಾರೀಬನು, ಜೆರಹನು ಮತ್ತು ಸೌಲನು.
25 The sons of Shaul: Shallum, Mibsam, and Mishma.
ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನು, ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಿಬ್ಸಾಮನು, ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಿಷ್ಮಾವನು.
26 The sons of Mishma: Hammuel, Zaccur, and Shimei.
ಮಿಷ್ಮಾವನ ವಂಶಜರು: ಅವನ ಮಗ ಹಮ್ಮೂಯೇಲನು, ಅವನ ಮಗ ಜಕ್ಕೂರನು, ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಯಿ.
27 Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters, but his brothers did not have many children, so their whole clan did not become as numerous as the sons of Judah.
ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಯಿಗೆ ಹದಿನಾರು ಮಂದಿ ಪುತ್ರರೂ, ಆರು ಮಂದಿ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಂತತಿಯು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
28 They lived in Beersheba, Moladah, Hazar-shual,
ಇವರು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ; ಮೋಲಾದದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ; ಹಚರ್ ಷೂವಾಲ್ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿಯೂ;
29 Bilhah, Ezem, Tolad,
ಬಿಲ್ಹದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಚೆಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ತೋಲಾದ್,
30 Bethuel, Hormah, Ziklag,
ಬೆತೂಯೇಲ್, ಹೊರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ; ಚಿಕ್ಲಗಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ;
31 Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susim, Beth-biri, and Shaaraim. These were their cities until the reign of David.
ಬೇತ್ ಮರ್ಕಾಬೋತ್, ಹಚರ್ ಸೂಸೀಮ್, ಬೇತ್ ಬಿರೀ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾರಯಿಮ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ದಾವೀದನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಇವು ಅವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
32 And their villages were Etam, Ain, Rimmon, Tochen, and Ashan—five towns—
ಅವರ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು ಯಾವುವೆಂದರೆ: ಏಟಾಮ್, ಆಯಿನ್, ರಿಮ್ಮೋನ್, ತೋಕೆನ್, ಆಷಾನ್ ಎಂಬ ಐದು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು.
33 and all their surrounding villages as far as Baal. These were their settlements, and they kept a genealogical record:
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲಿದ್ದ ಊರುಗಳು ಬಾಳ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದವರೆಗೆ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇವೇ ಅವರು ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳೂ, ಅವರ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಗಳೂ:
34 Meshobab, Jamlech, Joshah son of Amaziah,
ಮೆಷೋಬಾಬನು, ಯಮ್ಲೇಕನು, ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಷನು,
35 Joel, Jehu son of Joshibiah (son of Seraiah, son of Asiel),
ಯೋಯೇಲನು, ಅಸಿಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೆರಾಯನ ಮಗ ಯೊಷಿಬ್ಯನ ಮಗ ಯೇಹೂವು.
36 Elioenai, Jaakobah, Jeshohaiah, Asaiah, Adiel, Jesimiel, Benaiah,
ಎಲ್ಯೋವೇನೈ, ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಯೆಷೋಹಾಯ, ಅಸಾಯ, ಅದೀಯೇಲ್, ಯೆಸೀಮಿಯೇಲ್, ಬೆನಾಯಾ.
37 and Ziza son of Shiphi (son of Allon, son of Jedaiah, son of Shimri, son of Shemaiah).
ಶೆಮಾಯನ ಮಗ ಶಿಮ್ರಿಯ ಮಗ ಯೆದಾಯನ ಮಗ ಅಲ್ಲೋನನ ಮಗ ಶಿಪ್ಫಿಯ ಮಗ ಜೀಜನು.
38 These men listed by name were the leaders of their clans. Their families increased greatly,
ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲಾದ ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಮನೆ ಬಹಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಯಿತು.
39 and they journeyed to the entrance of Gedor, to the east side of the valley, in search of pasture for their flocks.
ತಮ್ಮ ಮಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೇವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ತಗ್ಗಿನ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗೆದೋರು ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಪ್ರವೇಶದವರೆಗೂ ಹೋದರು.
40 There they found rich, good pasture, and the land was spacious, peaceful, and quiet; for some Hamites had lived there formerly.
ಅವರು ರಸವತ್ತಾದ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮೇವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡರು. ಆ ದೇಶವು ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಶಾಂತವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇತ್ತು. ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಮನ ವಂಶದವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
41 These who were noted by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah. They attacked the Hamites and Meunites there in their dwellings, devoting them to destruction even to this day. Then they settled in their place, because there was pasture for their flocks.
ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವವರಾದ ಇವರು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಹಾಮ್ಯರ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಮೆಗೂನ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೇವು ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದರು.
42 And five hundred of these Simeonites led by Pelatiah, Neariah, Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi, went to Mount Seir
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿ ಐನೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಇಷ್ಷೀಯ ಪುತ್ರರಾದ ಪೆಲಟ್ಯ, ನೆಯರ್ಯ, ರೆಫಾಯ, ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೇಲ್ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು. ಸೇಯೀರ್ ಎಂಬ ಪರ್ವತ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.
43 and struck down the remnant of the Amalekites who had escaped. And they have lived there to this day.
ಅವರು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಉಳಿದ ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
