1 Chronicles 3
1 These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second was Daniel by Abigail of Carmel;
| ואלה היו בני דויד אשר נולד לו בחברון הבכור אמנן לאחינעם היזרעאלית שני דניאל לאביגיל הכרמלית׃ |
2 the third was Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of King Talmai of Geshur; the fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith;
| השלשי לאבשלום בן מעכה בת תלמי מלך גשור הרביעי אדניה בן חגית׃ |
3 the fifth was Shephatiah by Abital; and the sixth was Ithream by his wife Eglah.
| החמישי שפטיה לאביטל הששי יתרעם לעגלה אשתו׃ |
4 These six sons were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. And David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years,
| ששה נולד לו בחברון וימלך שם שבע שנים וששה חדשים ושלשים ושלוש שנה מלך בירושלם׃ |
5 and these sons were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. These four were born to him by Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel.
| ואלה נולדו לו בירושלים שמעא ושובב ונתן ושלמה ארבעה לבת שוע בת עמיאל׃ |
6 David’s other sons were Ibhar, Elishua, Eliphelet,
| ויבחר ואלישמע ואליפלט׃ |
7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,
| ונגה ונפג ויפיע׃ |
8 Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet—nine in all.
| ואלישמע ואלידע ואליפלט תשעה׃ |
9 These were all the sons of David, besides the sons by his concubines. And Tamar was their sister.
| כל בני דויד מלבד בני פילגשים ותמר אחותם׃ |
10 Solomon’s son was Rehoboam: Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
| ובן שלמה רחבעם אביה בנו אסא בנו יהושפט בנו׃ |
11 Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
| יורם בנו אחזיהו בנו יואש בנו׃ |
12 Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
| אמציהו בנו עזריה בנו יותם בנו׃ |
13 Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
| אחז בנו חזקיהו בנו מנשה בנו׃ |
14 Amon his son, and Josiah his son.
| אמון בנו יאשיהו בנו׃ |
15 The sons of Josiah: Johanan was the firstborn, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum the fourth.
| ובני יאשיהו הבכור יוחנן השני יהויקים השלשי צדקיהו הרביעי שלום׃ |
16 The successors of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, and Zedekiah.
| ובני יהויקים יכניה בנו צדקיה בנו׃ |
17 The descendants of Jeconiah the captive: Shealtiel his son,
| ובני יכניה אסר שאלתיאל בנו׃ |
18 Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
| ומלכירם ופדיה ושנאצר יקמיה הושמע ונדביה׃ |
19 The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. The children of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah, their sister Shelomith,
| ובני פדיה זרבבל ושמעי ובן זרבבל משלם וחנניה ושלמית אחותם׃ |
20 and five others: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.
| וחשבה ואהל וברכיה וחסדיה יושב חסד חמש׃ |
21 The descendants of Hananiah: Pelatiah, Jeshaiah, and the sons of Rephaiah, of Arnan, of Obadiah, and of Shecaniah.
| ובן חנניה פלטיה וישעיה בני רפיה בני ארנן בני עבדיה בני שכניה׃ |
22 The six descendants of Shecaniah were Shemaiah and his sons: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
| ובני שכניה שמעיה ובני שמעיה חטוש ויגאל ובריח ונעריה ושפט ששה׃ |
23 The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam—three in all.
| ובן נעריה אליועיני וחזקיה ועזריקם שלשה׃ |
24 The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani—seven in all.
| ובני אליועיני הודיוהו ואלישיב ופליה ועקוב ויוחנן ודליה וענני שבעה׃ |
