< 1 Chronicles 29 >

1 Then King David said to the whole assembly, “My son Solomon, the one whom God has chosen, is young and inexperienced. The task is great because this palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.
Eka Ruoth Daudi nowacho ni chokruok duto niya, “Solomon wuoda ma Nyasaye oseyiero pod en rawera man-gi lony matin. To tijni en tich maduongʼ nikech ot malichni ok en mar dhano to en mar Jehova Nyasaye.
2 Now with all my ability I have made provision for the house of my God—gold for the gold articles, silver for the silver, bronze for the bronze, iron for the iron, and wood for the wood, as well as onyx for the settings, turquoise, stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and slabs of marble—all in abundance.

Magi duto aseiko mangʼeny.
3 Moreover, because of my delight in the house of my God, I now give for it my personal treasures of gold and silver, over and above all that I have provided for this holy temple:
Ewi mago duto ma asechiwo ne hekalu mar Nyasacha achako agolo mwanduna awuon mag dhahabu kod mag fedha ne hekalu mar Nyasacha. To bende asechiwo moloyo mago ne hekalu malerni gik machalo kaka:

6 Then the leaders of the households, the officers of the tribes of Israel, the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and the officials in charge of the king’s work gave willingly.

8 Whoever had precious stones gave them to the treasury of the house of the LORD, under the care of Jehiel the Gershonite.
Bende joma ne ni kod kite ma nengogi tek nochiwogi e kar keno mar hekalu mar Jehova Nyasaye ka jaritgi en Jehiel ja-Gershon.
9 And the people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given to the LORD freely and wholeheartedly. And King David also rejoiced greatly.
Ji duto ne mor gi ilo kuom chiwo mar jotendgi nikech negichiwo gi mor kendo gi chuny achiel ni Jehova Nyasaye. Ruoth Daudi bende nomor ahinya.
10 Then David blessed the LORD in the sight of all the assembly and said: “May You be blessed, O LORD, God of our father Israel, from everlasting to everlasting.
Daudi nopako Jehova Nyasaye e nyim riwruok mar ji duto kowacho niya, “Yaye Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasach kwarwa Israel, duongʼ odogni ndalo duto, manyaka chiengʼ.
11 Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in heaven and on earth belongs to You. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom, and You are exalted as head over all.

13 Now therefore, our God, we give You thanks, and we praise Your glorious name.

14 But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from You, and from Your own hand we have given to You.
“An to an ngʼa, kata joga to gin ngʼa gini, mamiyo nyaka wachiw gi chuny achiel ka ma? Gik moko duto aa kuomi, kendo wasemiyi mana gima oa e lweti

17 I know, my God, that You test the heart and delight in uprightness. All these things I have given willingly and with an upright heart, and now I have seen Your people who are present here giving joyfully and willingly to You.

18 O LORD, God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, keep this desire forever in the intentions of the hearts of Your people, and direct their hearts toward You.
Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ma Nyasach kwerewa Ibrahim, Isaka kod Israel, mad herani osiki ei chuny jogi ndalo duto kendo imi chunygi osik kuomi.

20 Then David said to the whole assembly, “Blessed be the LORD your God.” So the whole assembly blessed the LORD, the God of their fathers. They bowed down and paid homage to the LORD and to the king.
Bangʼe Daudi nowachone chokruok duto niya, “Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye, ma Nyasachu.” Omiyo giduto negipako Jehova Nyasaye, ma Nyasach kweregi, negikulore piny auma kendo ginindo piny e nyim Jehova Nyasaye kendo e nyim ruoth Daudi.
21 The next day they offered sacrifices and presented burnt offerings to the LORD: a thousand bulls, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, along with their drink offerings, and other sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.
Kinyne negitimone Jehova Nyasaye misango kendo negichiwone misengini miwangʼo pep mag rwedhi alufu achiel gi imbe alufu achiel to gi nyiimbe alufu achiel kaachiel gi misango miolo piny to gi misengini mamoko mangʼeny ne jo-Israel duto.
22 That day they ate and drank with great joy in the presence of the LORD. Then, for a second time, they designated David’s son Solomon as king, anointing him before the LORD as ruler, and Zadok as the priest.
Negichiemo kendo metho gimor maduongʼ odiechiengno e nyim Jehova Nyasaye. Bangʼe negichako giketo Solomon wuod Daudi kaka ruoth, kendo ne giwire gi mo e nyim Jehova Nyasaye mondo obed ruoth, to Zadok, to nowir kaka jadolo.
23 So Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king in place of his father David. He prospered, and all Israel obeyed him.
Omiyo Solomon nobedo e kom loch Jehova Nyasaye kaka ruoth kar Daudi wuon mare. Ne en gi gweth kendo jo-Israel nomiye luor.
24 All the officials and mighty men, as well as all of King David’s sons, pledged their allegiance to King Solomon.
Jotelo kod thuondi madongo kaachiel gi yawuot Ruoth Daudi nochiwore moyie bedo e bwo loch Ruoth Solomon.
25 The LORD highly exalted Solomon in the sight of all Israel and bestowed on him royal majesty such as had not been bestowed on any king in Israel before him.
Jehova Nyasaye notingʼo Solomon malo e nyim jo-Israel kendo nomiye duongʼ moloyo ruodhi duto mane osebedo e Israel motelone.
26 David son of Jesse was king over all Israel.
Daudi wuod Jesse ne ruoth mar jo-Israel duto.
27 The length of David’s reign over Israel was forty years—seven years in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem.
Nobedo ruodh Israel duto higni piero angʼwen, higni abiriyo ne en Hebron, to higni piero adek gadek ne en Jerusalem.
28 He died at a ripe old age, full of years, riches, and honor, and his son Solomon reigned in his place.
Nodak e ngima maber ka en-gi mwandu kod duongʼ, bangʼe notho ka hike noniangʼ moloyo. Wuode ma Solomon nobedo ruoth kare.
29 Now the acts of King David, from first to last, are indeed written in the Chronicles of Samuel the Seer, the Chronicles of Nathan the Prophet, and the Chronicles of Gad the Seer,
Kaluwore gi gik moko mane Daudi otimo chakre kinde mane en ruoth nyaka giko; ondikgi e kitepe mag jonabi Samuel, Nathan kod Gad,
