1 Chronicles 25
1 Additionally, David and the commanders of the army set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to prophesy with the accompaniment of lyres, harps, and cymbals. The following is the list of the men who performed this service:
Und David samt den Heerführern sonderte von den Söhnen Asaphs, Hemans und Jedutuns solche zum Dienste aus, welche weissagten zum Harfen, Psalter und Zimbelspiel. Die Zahl der Männer, die diesen Dienst verrichteten, war:
2 From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah. These sons of Asaph were under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.
von den Söhnen Asaphs: Sakkur, Joseph, Netanja, Asarela, unter der Leitung Asaphs, welcher nach Anweisung des Königs weissagte.
3 From the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six in all—under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp, giving thanks and praise to the LORD.
Von Jedutun: die Söhne Jedutuns waren: Gedalja, Zeri, Jesaja, Chaschabja, Mattitja und Simei, ihrer sechs, unter der Leitung ihres Vaters Jedutun, welcher mit der Harfe weissagend dankte und den HERRN lobte.
4 From the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
Von Heman: die Söhne Hemans waren: Buckija, Mattanja, Ussiel, Schebuel, Jerimot, Chananja, Chanani, Eliata, Giddalti, Romamti-Eser, Joschbekascha, Malloti, Hotir und Machasiot.
5 All these sons of Heman the king’s seer were given him through the promises of God to exalt him, for God had given Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
Alle diese waren Söhne Hemans, des Sehers des Königs; nach den Worten Gottes von der Erhöhung des Horns, gab Gott dem Heman vierzehn Söhne und drei Töchter.
6 All these were under the direction of their fathers for the music of the house of the LORD with cymbals, harps, and lyres, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the direction of the king.
Alle diese waren unter der Leitung ihrer Väter Asaph, Jedutun und Heman beim Gesang im Hause des HERRN, mit Zimbeln, Psaltern und Harfen zum Dienst im Hause Gottes nach der Anweisung des Königs tätig.
7 Together with their relatives, who were all trained and skillful in the songs of the LORD, they numbered 288.
Und ihre Zahl samt ihren Brüdern, aller, die im Gesang unterrichtet waren und verstanden, dem HERRN zu singen, betrug zweihundertachtundachtzig.
8 They cast lots for their duties, young and old alike, teacher as well as pupil.
Sie warfen aber das Los über ihr Amt, der Kleinste wie der Größte, der Lehrer wie der Schüler.
9 The first lot, which was for Asaph, fell to Joseph, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all; the second to Gedaliah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
Und das erste Los für Asaph fiel auf Joseph. Das zweite fiel auf Gedalja samt seinen Brüdern und Söhnen, ihrer zwölf;
10 the third to Zaccur, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
das dritte auf Sakkur samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf;
11 the fourth to Izri, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
das vierte auf Jizri samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf;
12 the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
das fünfte auf Netanja samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf.
13 the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
Das sechste auf Buckija samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf.
14 the seventh to Jesarelah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
Das siebente auf Jescharela samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf.
15 the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

16 the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
Das neunte auf Mattanja samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf.
17 the tenth to Shimei, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
Das zehnte auf Simei samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf.
18 the eleventh to Azarel, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
Das elfte auf Asareel samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf.
19 the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
Das zwölfte auf Chaschabja samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf.
20 the thirteenth to Shubael, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
Das dreizehnte auf Schubael samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf.
21 the fourteenth to Mattithiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
Das vierzehnte auf Mattitja samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf.
22 the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
Das fünfzehnte auf Jeremot samt seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, ihrer zwölf.
23 the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;

24 the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
