1 Chronicles 24
1 These were the divisions of the descendants of Aaron. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
१फिर हारून की सन्तान के दल ये थे। हारून के पुत्र तो नादाब, अबीहू, एलीआजर और ईतामार थे।
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did, and they had no sons; so Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests.
२परन्तु नादाब और अबीहू अपने पिता के सामने पुत्रहीन मर गए, इसलिए याजक का काम एलीआजर और ईतामार करते थे।
3 With the help of Eleazar’s descendant Zadok and Ithamar’s descendant Ahimelech, David divided them according to the offices of their service.
३और दाऊद ने एलीआजर के वंश के सादोक और ईतामार के वंश के अहीमेलेक की सहायता से उनको अपनी-अपनी सेवा के अनुसार दल-दल करके बाँट दिया।
4 Since more leaders were found among Eleazar’s descendants than those of Ithamar, they were divided accordingly. There were sixteen heads of families from the descendants of Eleazar and eight from the descendants of Ithamar.
४एलीआजर के वंश के मुख्य पुरुष, ईतामार के वंश के मुख्य पुरुषों से अधिक थे, और वे ऐसे बाँटे गए: अर्थात् एलीआजर के वंश के पितरों के घरानों के सोलह, और ईतामार के वंश के पितरों के घरानों के आठ मुख्य पुरुष थे।
5 Thus they were divided by lot, for there were officers of the sanctuary and officers of God among both Eleazar’s and Ithamar’s descendants.
५तब वे चिट्ठी डालकर बराबर-बराबर बाँटे गए, क्योंकि एलीआजर और ईतामार दोनों के वंशों में पवित्रस्थान के हाकिम और परमेश्वर के हाकिम नियुक्त हुए थे।
6 The scribe, Shemaiah son of Nethanel, a Levite, recorded their names in the presence of the king and of the officers: Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the heads of families of the priests and the Levites—one family being taken from Eleazar, and then one from Ithamar.
६और नतनेल के पुत्र शमायाह जो शास्त्री और लेवीय था, उनके नाम राजा और हाकिमों और सादोक याजक, और एब्यातार के पुत्र अहीमेलेक और याजकों और लेवियों के पितरों के घरानों के मुख्य पुरुषों के सामने लिखे; अर्थात् पितरों का एक घराना तो एलीआजर के वंश में से और एक ईतामार के वंश में से लिया गया।
7 The first lot fell to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
७पहली चिट्ठी तो यहोयारीब के, और दूसरी यदायाह,
8 the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
८तीसरी हारीम के, चौथी सोरीम के,
9 the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
९पाँचवीं मल्किय्याह के, छठवीं मिय्यामीन के,
10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
१०सातवीं हक्कोस के, आठवीं अबिय्याह के,
11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
११नौवीं येशुअ के, दसवीं शकन्याह के,
12 the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
१२ग्यारहवीं एल्याशीब के, बारहवीं याकीम के,
13 the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
१३तेरहवीं हुप्पा के, चौदहवीं येसेबाब के,
14 the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
१४पन्द्रहवीं बिल्गा के, सोलहवीं इम्मेर के,
15 the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,
१५सत्रहवीं हेजीर के, अठारहवीं हप्पित्सेस के,
16 the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,
१६उन्नीसवीं पतह्याह के, बीसवीं यहेजकेल के,
17 the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,
१७इक्कीसवीं याकीन के, बाईसवीं गामूल के,
18 the twenty-third to Delaiah, and the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
१८तेईसवीं दलायाह के, और चौबीसवीं माज्याह के नाम पर निकलीं।
19 This was their appointed order for service when they entered the house of the LORD, according to the regulations prescribed for them by their forefather Aaron, as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded him.
१९उनकी सेवकाई के लिये उनका यही नियम ठहराया गया कि वे अपने उस नियम के अनुसार जो इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा की आज्ञा के अनुसार उनके मूलपुरुष हारून ने चलाया था, यहोवा के भवन में जाया करें।
20 Now these were the remaining descendants of Levi: From the sons of Amram: Shubael; from the sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.
२०बचे हुए लेवियों में से अम्राम के वंश में से शूबाएल, शूबाएल के वंश में से येहदयाह।
21 As for Rehabiah, from his sons: The first was Isshiah.
२१बचा रहब्याह, अतः रहब्याह, के वंश में से यिश्शिय्याह मुख्य था।
22 From the Izharites: Shelomoth; from the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
२२यिसहारियों में से शलोमोत और शलोमोत के वंश में से यहत।
23 From the sons of Hebron: Jeriah was the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
२३हेब्रोन के वंश में से मुख्य तो यरिय्याह, दूसरा अमर्याह, तीसरा यहजीएल, और चौथा यकमाम।
24 From the sons of Uzziel: Micah; from the sons of Micah: Shamir.
२४उज्जीएल के वंश में से मीका और मीका के वंश में से शामीर।
25 The brother of Micah: Isshiah; from the sons of Isshiah: Zechariah.
२५मीका का भाई यिश्शिय्याह, यिश्शिय्याह के वंश में से जकर्याह।
26 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The son of Jaaziah: Beno.
२६मरारी के पुत्र महली और मूशी और याजिय्याह का पुत्र बिनो था।
27 The descendants of Merari from Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.
२७मरारी के पुत्र: याजिय्याह से बिनो और शोहम, जक्कूर और इब्री थे।
28 From Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.
२८महली से, एलीआजर जिसके कोई पुत्र न था।
29 From Kish: Jerahmeel the son of Kish.
२९कीश से कीश के वंश में यरहमेल।
30 And the sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites, according to their families.
३०और मूशी के पुत्र, महली, एदेर और यरीमोत। अपने-अपने पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार ये ही लेवीय सन्तान के थे।
31 As their brothers the descendants of Aaron did, they also cast lots in the presence of King David and of Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the families of the priests and Levites—the family heads and their younger brothers alike.
३१इन्होंने भी अपने भाई हारून की सन्तानों की तरह दाऊद राजा और सादोक और अहीमेलेक और याजकों और लेवियों के पितरों के घरानों के मुख्य पुरुषों के सामने चिट्ठियाँ डालीं, अर्थात् मुख्य पुरुष के पितरों का घराना उसके छोटे भाई के पितरों के घराने के बराबर ठहरा।
