1 Chronicles 23
1 When David was old and full of years, he installed his son Solomon as king over Israel.
၁ဒါဝိဒ် မင်းသည် အသက် ကြီး၍ ကာလ ပြည့်စုံ ရာ အချိန်ရောက်သောအခါ၊ သား တော်ရှောလမုန် ကို ဣသရေလ ရှင် ဘုရင်အရာ၌ ခန့်ထား၍၊
2 Then he gathered all the leaders of Israel, as well as the priests and Levites.
၂ဣသရေလ မင်း ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ၊ လေဝိ သား အပေါင်း တို့ကို စုဝေး စေတော်မူ၏။
3 The Levites thirty years of age or older were counted, and the total number of men was 38,000.
၃လေဝိ သားတို့တွင် အသက် သုံး ဆယ် လွန် ၍ စာရင်းဝင် သော ယောက်ျား ပေါင်းကား၊ သုံးသောင်း ရှစ်ထောင်တည်း။
4 “Of these,” said David, “24,000 are to oversee the work of the house of the LORD, 6,000 are to be officers and judges,
၄ထို သူတို့တွင် နှစ်သောင်း လေးထောင်တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ် တော်အမှု ကို ဆောင်ရွက် ရကြ၏။ ခြောက် ထောင် တို့သည် အရာရှိ ၊ တရားသူကြီး လုပ်ရကြ ၏။
5 4,000 are to be gatekeepers, and 4,000 are to praise the LORD with the instruments I have made for giving praise.”
၅လေး ထောင် တို့သည် တံခါး ကိုစောင့်ရကြ၏။ လေး ထောင် တို့သည် ဂုဏ် တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းစရာတုရိယာ တို့နှင့် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ဂုဏ် တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းရကြ၏။
6 Then David divided the Levites into divisions according to the sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
၆လေဝိ သား ဂေရရှုံ ၊ ကောဟတ် ၊ မေရာရိ အမျိုး အသီးအသီးတို့ကို ဒါဝိဒ် ခွဲထား ၍ တမျိုး တခြားစီသင်းဖွဲ့စေ၏။
7 The Gershonites: Ladan and Shimei.
၇ဂေရရှုံ အမျိုးသားကား၊ လာဒန် နှင့် ရှိမိ တည်း။
8 The sons of Ladan: Jehiel the first, Zetham, and Joel—three in all.
၈လာဒန် သား အကြီး ကား၊ ယေဟေလ ၊ သူ၏ညီ ဇေသံ နှင့် ယောလ ၊ ပေါင်းသုံး ယောက်တည်း။
9 The sons of Shimei: Shelomoth, Haziel, and Haran—three in all. These were the heads of the families of Ladan.
၉ရှိမိ သား ကား ရှေလောမိတ် ၊ ဟာဇေလ ၊ ဟာရန် ၊ ပေါင်းသုံး ယောက်တည်း။ ဤ သူတို့သည်လာဒန် အဆွေအမျိုး သူကြီးဖြစ်ကြ၏။
10 And the sons of Shimei: Jahath, Zina, Jeush, and Beriah. These were the sons of Shimei—four in all.
၁၀ရှိမိ သား ကား ယာဟတ် ၊ ဇိဇ ၊ ယုရှ ၊ ဗေရိ ၊ ပေါင်း လေး ယောက်တည်း။
11 Jahath was the first and Zizah was the second; but Jeush and Beriah did not have many sons, so they were counted as one family and received a single assignment.
၁၁ယာဟတ် ကားအကြီး ဖြစ် ၏။ ဇိဇ ကား ဒုတိယ အရာကို ရ၏။ ယုရှ နှင့် ဗေရိ ၌ကား သား များစွာ မ ရှိ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ အဆွေအမျိုး အလိုက် စာရင်း တခုတည်း ၌ ပေါင်းကြ၏။
12 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel—four in all.
၁၂ကောဟတ် သား ကားအာမရံ ၊ ဣဇဟာ ၊ ဟေဗြုန် ၊ ဩဇေလ ၊ ပေါင်းလေး ယောက်တည်း။
13 The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses. Aaron and his descendants were set apart forever to consecrate the most holy things, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister before Him, and to pronounce blessings in His name forever.
၁၃အာမရံ သား ကား အာရုန် နှင့် မောရှေ တည်း။ အာရုန် နှင့်သားစဉ် မြေးဆက်တို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ နံ့သာပေါင်း ကိုမီးရှို့ခြင်း၊ အမှု တော်ကို ဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်း၊ နာမ တော်ကိုမြွက်၍ အစဉ် ကောင်းကြီး ပေးခြင်းအမှုကို ပြုရမည်အကြောင်း၊ အလွန် သန့်ရှင်းသောအရာတို့ကို သန့်ရှင်း စေခြင်းငှါ အခြားသူတို့နှင့် ခွဲထား သောသူဖြစ်ကြ၏။
14 As for Moses the man of God, his sons were named among the tribe of Levi.
၁၄ဘုရားသခင့် လူ မောရှေ ၏သား ကိုကား၊ လေဝိ အမျိုးသား တို့၏ စာရင်း ၌သွင်းရ၏။
15 The sons of Moses: Gershom and Eliezer.
၁၅မောရှေ သား ကားဂေရရှုံ နှင့် ဧလျေဇာတည်း။
16 The descendants of Gershom: Shebuel was the first.
၁၆ဂေရရှုံ သား တို့တွင်၊ ရှေဗွေလ သည် အကြီး ဖြစ်၏။
17 The descendants of Eliezer: Rehabiah was the first. Eliezer did not have any other sons, but the sons of Rehabiah were very numerous.
၁၇ဧလျေဇာ သား အကြီး ရေဟဘိ တယောက်တည်းရှိ ၏။ ရေဟဘိ ၌ကား သား အလွန် များ၏။
18 The sons of Izhar: Shelomith was the first.
၁၈ဣဇဟာ သား အကြီး ကားရှေလောမိတ်၊
19 The sons of Hebron: Jeriah was the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, and Jekameam the fourth.
၁၉ဟေဗြုန် သား အကြီး ကားယေရိ ၊ ဒုတိယ သား အာမရိ ၊ တတိယ သားယဟာဇေလ ၊ စတုတ္ထ သားယေကမံ၊
20 The sons of Uzziel: Micah was the first and Isshiah the second.
၂၀ဩဇေလ သား အကြီး ကားမိက္ခါ ၊ ဒုတိယ သား ယေရှိ တည်း။
21 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Mahli: Eleazar and Kish.
၂၁မေရာရိ သား ကားမဟာလိ နှင့် မုရှိ တည်း။ မဟာလိ သား ကား ဧလာဇာ နှင့် ကိရှ တည်း။
22 Eleazar died without having any sons; he had only daughters. Their cousins, the sons of Kish, married them.
၂၂ဧလာဇာ သည်သား မ ရှိ။ သမီး သက်သက် ရှိ၍ သေ ၏။ သူ့သမီးတို့နှင့်သူ့ညီ ကိရှ သား တို့သည် စုံဘက် ကြ၏။
23 The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jeremoth —three in all.
၂၃မုရှိ သား ကား မဟာလိ ၊ ဧဒါ ၊ ယေရိမုတ် ၊ ပေါင်း သုံး ယောက်တည်း။
24 These were the descendants of Levi by their families—the heads of families, registered individually by name—those twenty years of age or older who worked in the service of the house of the LORD.
၂၄ဤရွေ့ကား အသက် နှစ် ဆယ်လွန် ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ် တော်အမှု ကို ဆောင်ရွက် ရသောလေဝိ အမျိုးသား အဆွေအမျိုး အလိုက် စာရင်း ဝင်သော အဆွေအမျိုး သူကြီးဖြစ်သတည်း။
25 For David had said, “The LORD, the God of Israel, has given rest to His people and has come to dwell in Jerusalem forever.
၂၅ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိမိ လူမျိုး အား ငြိမ်ဝပ် သောအခွင့်ကိုပေး၍ ကိုယ်တော်တိုင် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ အစဉ် နေ တော်မူသောကြောင့်၊
26 So now the Levites no longer need to carry the tabernacle or any of the articles for its service.”
၂၆လေဝိ သားတို့သည် တဲ တော်နှင့် တဲ တော်အမှု ဆောင်ရွက်ရာ တန်ဆာ များကို နောက်တဖန်မ ထမ်း ရဟု ဒါဝိဒ် မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
27 For according to the final instructions of David, the Levites twenty years of age or older were counted,
၂၇နောက်ဆုံး အမိန့် တော်အတိုင်း ၊ အသက် နှစ် ဆယ်လွန် သော လေဝိ သား တို့ကို စာရင်း ယူရ၏။
28 but their duty was to assist the descendants of Aaron with the service of the house of the LORD, being responsible for the courts and chambers, the purification of all the holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God,
၂၈အကြောင်း မူကား၊ လေဝိသားတို့သည် အာရုန် သား တို့၏လက်ထောက် ဖြစ်သည်နှင့်အညီ ၊ သန့်ရှင်း သောအရာရှိသမျှ တို့ ကို စင်ကြယ် စေ၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ် တော်နှင့်တန်တိုင်း များ၊ အခန်း များ၌ အမှု ကို ဆောင်ရွက် ရကြမည်။
29 as well as for the rows of the showbread, the fine flour for the grain offering, the wafers of unleavened bread, the baking, the mixing, and all measurements of quantity and size.
၂၉ရှေ့ တော်မုန့်ကို၎င်း၊ ဘောဇဉ် ပူဇော်သက္ကာ မုန့်ညက် ကို၎င်း၊ တဆေးမဲ့ မုန့်ပြား ၊ သံပြား နှင့်ဖုတ်သော မုန့်၊ မုန့်ဆီကြော် ကို၎င်းလုပ်၍ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ အိမ် တော် အမှု ကိုလည်း ဆောင်ရွက် ရကြမည်။ တိုင်းထွာ ၊ ချိန်တွယ်၊ ခြင်တွက် ခြင်းအမှုအမျိုးမျိုး ကိုလည်း စီရင်ရကြမည်။
30 They were also to stand every morning to give thanks and praise to the LORD, and likewise in the evening.
၃၀နံနက် တိုင်း၊ ညဦး တိုင်းရပ် လျက်၊ ကျေးဇူး တော် ကြီးလှပါ၏ဟု ဝန်ခံ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ဂုဏ် တော်ကိုလည်း ချီးမွမ်းရကြမည်။
31 Whenever burnt offerings were presented to the LORD on the Sabbaths, New Moons, and appointed feasts, they were to serve regularly before the LORD in the numbers prescribed for them.
၃၁ပညတ်တရားတော်အတိုင်းဥပုသ် နေ့၊ လဆန်း နေ့၊ ဓမ္မ ပွဲနေ့၊ အစဉ်မပြတ် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ မီးရှို့ ရာ ယဇ်မျိုး တို့ကို ပူဇော် ရကြမည်။
32 So the Levites were to carry out the responsibilities for the Tent of Meeting and the Holy Place, and, under their brothers the descendants of Aaron, the service of the house of the LORD.
၃၂ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေး ရာတဲ တော်ကို၎င်း ၊ သန့်ရှင်း ရာဌာနတော်ကို၎င်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အိမ် တော်၌ အမှု တော်ကို ဆောင်ရွက်သော ညီအစ်ကို အာရုန် သား တို့ကို၎င်း စောင့် ရကြမည်။
