1 Chronicles 22
1 Then David said, “Here shall be the house of the LORD God, as well as the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”
൧“ഇത് യഹോവയായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയം; ഇത് യിസ്രായേലിന് ഹോമപീഠം” എന്ന് ദാവീദ് പറഞ്ഞു.
2 So David gave orders to gather the foreigners in the land of Israel, from whom he appointed stonecutters to prepare finished stones for building the house of God.
൨അനന്തരം ദാവീദ് യിസ്രായേൽദേശത്തിലെ അന്യജാതിക്കാരെ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയം പണിയുവാൻ ചതുരക്കല്ല് ചെത്തേണ്ടതിന് അവൻ കല്പണിക്കാരെ നിയമിച്ചു.
3 David provided a large quantity of iron to make the nails for the doors of the gateways and for the fittings, together with more bronze than could be weighed
൩ദാവീദ് പടിവാതിൽകതകുകളുടെ ആണികൾക്കായിട്ടും കൊളുത്തുകൾക്കായിട്ടും ധാരാളം ഇരിമ്പും തൂക്കമില്ലാതെ ധാരാളം താമ്രവും അനവധി ദേവദാരുവും ഒരുക്കിവെച്ചു.
4 and more cedar logs than could be counted; for the Sidonians and Tyrians had brought a large quantity of cedar logs to David.
൪സീദോന്യരും സോര്യരും അനവധി ദേവദാരു ദാവീദിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. “എന്റെ മകൻ ശലോമോൻ ചെറുപ്പവും അനുഭവസമ്പത്തില്ലാത്തവനും ആകുന്നു; യഹോവയ്ക്കായി പണിയേണ്ട ആലയമോ കീർത്തിയും ശോഭയുംകൊണ്ട് സർവ്വദേശങ്ങൾക്കും അതിമഹത്വമുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം.
5 And David said, “My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent—famous and glorious throughout all lands. Therefore I must make preparations for it.” So David made lavish preparations before his death.
൫ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ അതിനുവേണ്ടി തയ്യാറെടുക്കും” എന്നു ദാവീദ് പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് തന്റെ മരണത്തിന് മുമ്പെ ധാരാളം തയ്യാറെടുപ്പുകൾ നടത്തി.
6 Then David called for his son Solomon and instructed him to build a house for the LORD, the God of Israel.
൬അവൻ തന്റെ മകനായ ശലോമോനെ വിളിച്ച് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഒരു ആലയം പണിയുവാൻ കല്പന കൊടുത്തു.
7 “My son,” said David to Solomon, “it was in my heart to build a house for the Name of the LORD my God,
൭ദാവീദ് ശലോമോനോടു പറഞ്ഞത്: “മകനേ, ഞാൻ തന്നേ എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന് ഒരു ആലയം പണിയുവാൻ താല്പര്യപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
8 but this word of the LORD came to me: ‘You have shed much blood and waged great wars. You are not to build a house for My Name because you have shed so much blood on the ground before Me.
൮എങ്കിലും എനിക്ക് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് ഉണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ‘നീ ഏറെ രക്തം ചിന്തി വലിയ യുദ്ധങ്ങളും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്; നീ എന്റെ നാമത്തിന് ഒരു ആലയം പണിയരുത്; നീ എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഭൂമിയിൽ ധാരാളം രക്തം ചിന്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
9 But a son will be born to you who will be a man of rest. I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side; for his name will be Solomon, and I will grant to Israel peace and quiet during his reign.
൯എന്നാൽ നിനക്ക് ഒരു മകൻ ജനിക്കും; അവൻ ഒരു സമാധാനപുരുഷനായിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള അവന്റെ സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും നീക്കി അവന് വിശ്രമം കൊടുക്കും; അവന്റെ പേർ ശലോമോൻ എന്ന് ആയിരിക്കും; അവന്റെ കാലത്ത് ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേലിന് സമാധാനവും സ്വസ്ഥതയും നല്കും.
10 He is the one who will build a house for My Name. He will be My son, and I will be his Father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’
൧൦അവൻ എന്റെ നാമത്തിന് ഒരു ആലയം പണിയും; അവൻ എനിക്ക് മകനായും ഞാൻ അവന് അപ്പനായും ഇരിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിൽ അവന്റെ രാജത്വം ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കും നിലനില്‍ക്കുമാറാക്കും.
11 Now, my son, may the LORD be with you, and may you succeed in building the house of the LORD your God, as He said you would.
൧൧ആകയാൽ എന്റെ മകനേ, യഹോവ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നീ കൃതാൎത്ഥനായി അവന്റെ ആലയം പണിയുക.
12 Above all, may the LORD give you insight and understanding when He puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the Law of the LORD your God.
൧൨നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം നീ ആചരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് യഹോവ നിനക്ക് ജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകവും തന്നു നിന്നെ യിസ്രായേലിന് നിയമിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.
13 Then you will succeed, if you carefully follow the statutes and ordinances that the LORD commanded Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.
൧൩യഹോവ യിസ്രായേലിന് വേണ്ടി മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ച ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും നീ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നീ കൃതാർത്ഥനാകും; ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടു ഉറച്ചിരിക്ക; ഭയപ്പെടരുതു, ഭ്രമിക്കയും അരുതു.
14 Now behold, I have taken great pains to provide for the house of the LORD—100,000 talents of gold, 1,000,000 talents of silver, and bronze and iron too great to be weighed. I have also provided timber and stone, and you may add to them.
൧൪ഇതാ, ഞാൻ എന്റെ കഷ്ടത്തിൽ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിനായി ഒരു ലക്ഷം താലന്ത് പൊന്നും പത്തുലക്ഷം താലന്ത് വെള്ളിയും ആർക്കും അളക്കാനാവാത്ത വിധം താമ്രവും ഇരിമ്പും സ്വരൂപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടു; മരവും കല്ലും കൂടെ ഞാൻ ഒരുക്കിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നിനക്ക് ഇനിയും അതിനോട് ചേർത്തുകൊള്ളാമല്ലോ.
15 You also have many workers: stonecutters, masons, carpenters, and men skilled in every kind of work—
൧൫നിന്റെ സ്വാധീനത്തിൽ കല്ലുവെട്ടുകാർ, കല്പണിക്കാർ, ആശാരിമാർ എന്നിങ്ങനെ അനവധി പണിക്കാരും സകലവിധ കരകൗശലപ്പണിക്കാരും ഉണ്ടല്ലോ;
16 in gold and silver, bronze and iron—craftsmen beyond number. Now begin the work, and may the LORD be with you.”
൧൬പൊന്ന്, വെള്ളി, താമ്രം, ഇരിമ്പ് എന്നിവ ധാരാളം ഉണ്ട്; ഉത്സാഹിച്ചു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുകൊൾക; യഹോവ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.
17 Then David ordered all the leaders of Israel to help his son Solomon:
൧൭ദാവീദ് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും തന്റെ മകനായ ശലോമോനെ സഹായിക്കുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞത്:
18 “Is not the LORD your God with you, and has He not granted you rest on every side? For He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land has been subdued before the LORD and His people.
൧൮“നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; അവൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ചുറ്റും വിശ്രമം വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ ദേശനിവാസികളെ എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു ദേശം യഹോവയ്ക്കും അവന്റെ ജനത്തിനും കീഴടക്കിയുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
19 Now set your heart and soul to seek the LORD your God. Get started building the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the holy articles of God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the LORD.”
൧൯ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയവും മനസ്സും ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പിൻ. എഴുന്നേല്പിൻ; യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകവും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപാത്രങ്ങളും യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന് പണിയുവാനുള്ള ആലയത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന് യഹോവയായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ പണിയുവിൻ”.
