1 Chronicles 2

1 These were the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,

پسران یعقوب معروف به اسرائیل اینها بودند: رئوبین، شمعون، لاوی، یهودا، یساکار، زبولون، دان، یوسف، بنیامین، نفتالی، جاد و اشیر.

2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanite. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD, who put him to death.

یهودا از زن کنعانی خود، بتشوع، سه پسر داشت به نامهای: عیر، اونان و شیله. ولی عیر، پسر ارشد او، شرور بود و خداوند او را کشت.

4 Tamar, Judah’s daughter-in-law, bore to him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.

بعد تامار، زن بیوهٔ عیر که عروس یهودا بود از خود یهودا حامله شد و دو پسر دوقلو به نامهای فارص و زارح زایید.

5 The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.

پسران فارص: حصرون و حامول.

6 The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara —five in all.

پسران زارح: زمری، ایتان، هیمان، کلکول و دارع.

7 The son of Carmi: Achar, who brought trouble upon Israel by violating the ban on devoted things.

(عخان پسر کرمی، که با برداشتن مال حرام به خدا خیانت کرد و در قوم اسرائیل فاجعه به بار آورد نیز از نسل زارح بود.)

8 The son of Ethan: Azariah.

عزریا پسر ایتان بود.

9 The sons who were born to Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb.

یرحم‌ئیل، رام و کلوبای پسران حصرون بودند.

10 Ram was the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab was the father of Nahshon, a leader of the descendants of Judah.

رام پدر عمیناداب، و عمیناداب پدر نحشون (نحشون رهبر قبیلهٔ یهودا بود)،

11 Nahshon was the father of Salmon, and Salmon was the father of Boaz.

نحشون پدر سلما، سلمون پدر بوعز،

12 Boaz was the father of Obed, and Obed was the father of Jesse.

بوعز پدر عوبید، و عوبید پدر یَسا بود.

13 Jesse was the father of Eliab his firstborn; Abinadab was born second, Shimea third,

پسران یَسا به ترتیب سن اینها بودند: الیاب، ابیناداب، شمعا، نتن‌ئیل، ردای، اوصم و داوود.

14 Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,

15 Ozem sixth, and David seventh.

16 Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the three sons of Zeruiah were Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.

یَسا دو دختر به نامهای صرویه و ابیجایل نیز داشت. پسران صرویه، ابیشای، یوآب و عسائیل بودند.

17 Abigail was the mother of Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ishmaelite.

ابیجایل که شوهرش یتر اسماعیلی بود، پسری داشت به نام عماسا.

18 Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah and by Jerioth. These were the sons of Azubah: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

کالیب (پسر حصرون) دو زن به نامهای عزوبه و یریعوت داشت. اینها فرزندان عزوبه بودند: یاشر، شوباب و اردون.

19 When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore to him Hur.

پس از مرگ عزوبه، کالیب با افرات ازدواج کرد و از این زن صاحب پسری شد به نام حور.

20 Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel.

اوری پسر حور، و بِصَلئیل پسر اوری بود.

21 Later, Hezron slept with the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead. He had married her when he was sixty years old, and she bore to him Segub.

حصرون در سن شصت سالگی با دختر ماخیر ازدواج کرد و از او هم صاحب پسری شد به نام سجوب (ماخیر پدر جلعاد بود).

22 Segub was the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

سجوب پدر یائیر بود. یائیر بر بیست و سه شهر در سرزمین جلعاد حکمرانی می‌کرد.

23 But Geshur and Aram captured Havvoth-jair, along with Kenath and its sixty surrounding villages. All these were descendants of Machir the father of Gilead.

ولی قوای جشور و ارام، شهرهای یائیر و شهر قناط را همراه با شصت روستای اطراف آن به زور از او گرفتند.

24 After Hezron died in Caleb-ephrathah, his wife Abijah bore to him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

کالیب بعد از مرگ پدرش حصرون، با افراته، زن پدر خود ازدواج کرد. افراته از کالیب صاحب پسری شد به اسم اشحور و اشحور هم پدر تقوع بود.

25 The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron: Ram his firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

اینها پسران (پسر ارشد حصرون) بودند: رام (پسر بزرگ)، بونه، اورن، اوصم و اخیا.

26 Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah, who was the mother of Onam.

عطاره زن دوم یرحم‌ئیل، مادر اونام بود.

27 The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel: Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

پسران رام پسر ارشد یرحم‌ئیل: معص، یامین و عاقر.

28 The sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.

پسران اونام، شمای و یاداع بودند. پسران شمای، ناداب و ابیشور بودند.

29 Abishur’s wife was named Abihail, and she bore to him Ahban and Molid.

پسران ابیشور، احبان و مولید از زن او ابیحایل بودند.

30 The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. Seled died without children.

و پسران ناداب سلد و افایم بودند. سلد بی‌اولاد از دنیا رفت،

31 The son of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.

ولی افایم پسری به نام یشعی داشت. یشعی پدر شیشان و شیشان پدر احلای بود.

32 The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan. Jether died without children.

یاداع برادر شمای دو پسر داشت به نامهای یتر و یوناتان. یتر بی‌اولاد از دنیا رفت،

33 The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.

ولی یوناتان دو پسر به اسم فالت و زازا داشت.

34 Sheshan had no sons, but only daughters; but he did have an Egyptian servant named Jarha.

شیشان پسری نداشت، ولی چندین دختر داشت. او یکی از دخترانش را به عقد یرحاع، غلام مصری خود درآورد. آنها صاحب پسری شدند و نامش را عتای گذاشتند.

35 Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage to his servant Jarha, and she bore to him Attai.

36 Attai was the father of Nathan, Nathan was the father of Zabad,

ناتان پسر عتای، زاباد پسر ناتان،

37 Zabad was the father of Ephlal, Ephlal was the father of Obed,

افلال پسر زاباد، عوبید پسر افلال.

38 Obed was the father of Jehu, Jehu was the father of Azariah,

ییهو پسر عوبید، عزریا پسر ییهو،

39 Azariah was the father of Helez, Helez was the father of Elasah,

حالص پسر عزریا، العاسه پسر حالص،

40 Elasah was the father of Sismai, Sismai was the father of Shallum,

سسمای پسر العاسه، شلوم پسر سسمای،

41 Shallum was the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah was the father of Elishama.

یقمیا پسر شلوم، الیشمع پسر یقمیا بود.

42 The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and Mareshah his second son, who was the father of Hebron.

پسر ارشد کالیب (برادر یرحم‌ئیل) میشاع نام داشت. میشاع پدر زیف، زیف پدر ماریشه، ماریشه پدر حبرون بود.

43 The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

پسران حبرون عبارت بودند از: قورح، تفوح، راقم و شامع.

44 Shema was the father of Raham the father of Jorkeam, and Rekem was the father of Shammai.

شامع پدر راحم بود و راحم پدر یرقعام. راقم پدر شمای بود.

45 The son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.

ماعون پسر شمای بود و پدر بیت‌صور.

46 Caleb’s concubine Ephah was the mother of Haran, Moza, and Gazez. Haran was the father of Gazez.

عیفه، کنیز کالیب، حاران و موصا و جازیز را زایید. حاران هم پسری داشت به نام جازیز.

47 The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

مردی به نام یهدای شش پسر داشت به اسامی: راجم، یوتام، جیشان، فالت، عیفه و شاعف.

48 Caleb’s concubine Maacah was the mother of Sheber and Tirhanah.

معکه یکی دیگر از کنیزان کالیب شش پسر به دنیا آورد به اسامی: شابر، ترحنه، شاعف (پدر مدمنه) و شوا (پدر مکبینا و جبعا). کالیب دختری نیز داشت که نامش عکسه بود.

49 She was also the mother of Shaaph father of Madmannah, and of Sheva father of Machbenah and Gibea. Caleb’s daughter was Acsah.

50 These were the descendants of Caleb. The sons of Hur the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim,

اینها نوادگان کالیب بودند. پسران حور (پسر ارشد کالیب و افراته) اینها بودند: شوبال (بانی قریه یعاریم)،

51 Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

سلما (بانی بیت‌لحم) و حاریف (بانی بیت‌جادر).

52 These were the descendants of Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim: Haroeh, half the Manahathites,

شوبال، بانی قریه یعاریم، جد طایفۀ هراوه که نصف ساکنان منوحوت را تشکیل می‌دادند، بود.

53 and the clans of Kiriath-jearim—the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites, and Mishraites. From these descended the Zorathites and Eshtaolites.

طایفه‌های قریه یعاریم که از نسل شوبال بودند، عبارت بودند از: یتری، فوتی، شوماتی و مشراعی. (صرعاتی‌ها و اِشتائُلیان از نسل مشراعی‌ها بودند.)

54 The descendants of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites,

سلما، بانی بیت‌لحم، جد طایفۀ نطوفاتی، عطروت بیت‌یوآب و صرعی (یکی از دو طایفهٔ ساکن مانحت) بود.

55 and the clans of the scribes who lived at Jabez—the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.

(طایفه‌های نویسندگانی که کتب و مدارک را رونویسی می‌کردند و ساکن یعبیص بودند عبارت بودند از: ترعاتی، شمعاتی و سوکاتی. این طایفه‌ها قینی و از نسل حمت، جد خاندان ریکاب، بودند.)
