1 Chronicles 2
1 These were the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,
イスラエルの子らは次のとおりである。ルベン、シメオン、レビ、ユダ、イッサカル、ゼブルン、
2 Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
ダン、ヨセフ、ベニヤミン、ナフタリ、ガド、アセル。
3 The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanite. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD, who put him to death.
ユダの子らはエル、オナン、シラである。この三人はカナンの女バテシュアがユダによって産んだ者である。ユダの長子エルは主の前に悪を行ったので、主は彼を殺された。
4 Tamar, Judah’s daughter-in-law, bore to him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in all.
ユダの嫁タマルはユダによってペレヅとゼラを産んだ。ユダの子らは合わせて五人である。
5 The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.
ペレヅの子らはヘヅロンとハムル。
6 The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara —five in all.
ゼラの子らはジムリ、エタン、ヘマン、カルコル、ダラで、合わせて五人である。
7 The son of Carmi: Achar, who brought trouble upon Israel by violating the ban on devoted things.
カルミの子はアカル。アカルは奉納物について罪を犯し、イスラエルを悩ました者である。
8 The son of Ethan: Azariah.
エタンの子はアザリヤである。
9 The sons who were born to Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb.
ヘヅロンに生れた子らはエラメル、ラム、ケルバイである。
10 Ram was the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab was the father of Nahshon, a leader of the descendants of Judah.
ラムはアミナダブを生み、アミナダブはユダの子孫のつかさナションを生んだ。
11 Nahshon was the father of Salmon, and Salmon was the father of Boaz.
ナションはサルマを生み、サルマはボアズを生み、
12 Boaz was the father of Obed, and Obed was the father of Jesse.
ボアズはオベデを生み、オベデはエッサイを生んだ。
13 Jesse was the father of Eliab his firstborn; Abinadab was born second, Shimea third,
エッサイは長子エリアブ、次にアビナダブ、第三にシメア、
14 Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,
第四にネタンエル、第五にラダイ、
15 Ozem sixth, and David seventh.
第六にオゼム、第七にダビデを生んだ。
16 Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the three sons of Zeruiah were Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.
彼らの姉妹はゼルヤとアビガイルである。ゼルヤの産んだ子はアビシャイ、ヨアブ、アサヘルの三人である。
17 Abigail was the mother of Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ishmaelite.
アビガイルはアマサを産んだ。アマサの父はイシマエルびとエテルである。
18 Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah and by Jerioth. These were the sons of Azubah: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.
ヘヅロンの子カレブはその妻アズバおよびエリオテによって子をもうけた。その子らはエシル、ショバブ、アルドンである。
19 When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath, who bore to him Hur.
カレブはアズバが死んだのでエフラタをめとった。エフラタはカレブによってホルを産んだ。
20 Hur was the father of Uri, and Uri was the father of Bezalel.
ホルはウリを生み、ウリはベザレルを生んだ。
21 Later, Hezron slept with the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead. He had married her when he was sixty years old, and she bore to him Segub.
そののちヘヅロンはギレアデの父マキルの娘の所にはいった。彼が彼女をめとったときは六十歳であった。彼女はヘヅロンによってセグブを産んだ。
22 Segub was the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.
セグブはヤイルを生んだ。ヤイルはギレアデの地に二十三の町をもっていた。
23 But Geshur and Aram captured Havvoth-jair, along with Kenath and its sixty surrounding villages. All these were descendants of Machir the father of Gilead.
しかしゲシュルとアラムは彼らからハボテ・ヤイルおよびケナテとその村里など合わせて六十の町を取った。これらはみなギレアデの父マキルの子孫であった。
24 After Hezron died in Caleb-ephrathah, his wife Abijah bore to him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.
ヘヅロンが死んだのち、カレブは父ヘヅロンの妻エフラタの所にはいった。彼女は彼にテコアの父アシュルを産んだ。
25 The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron: Ram his firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.
ヘヅロンの長子エラメルの子らは長子ラム、次はブナ、オレン、オゼム、アヒヤである。
26 Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah, who was the mother of Onam.
エラメルはまたほかの妻をもっていた。名をアタラといって、オナムの母である。
27 The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel: Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.
エラメルの長子ラムの子らはマアツ、ヤミン、エケルである。
28 The sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
オナムの子らはシャンマイとヤダである。シャンマイの子らはナダブとアビシュルである。
29 Abishur’s wife was named Abihail, and she bore to him Ahban and Molid.
アビシュルの妻の名はアビハイルといって、アバンとモリデを産んだ。
30 The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. Seled died without children.
ナダブの子らはセレデとアッパイムである。セレデは子をもたずに死んだ。
31 The son of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.
アッパイムの子はイシ、イシの子はセシャン、セシャンの子はアヘライである。
32 The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan. Jether died without children.
シャンマイの兄弟ヤダの子らはエテルとヨナタンである。エテルは子をもたずに死んだ。
33 The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.
ヨナタンの子らはペレテとザザである。以上はエラメルの子孫である。
34 Sheshan had no sons, but only daughters; but he did have an Egyptian servant named Jarha.
セシャンには男の子はなく、ただ女の子のみであったが、彼はヤルハと呼ぶエジプトびとの奴隷をもっていたので、
35 Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage to his servant Jarha, and she bore to him Attai.
セシャンは娘を奴隷ヤルハに与えてその妻とさせた。彼女はヤルハによってアッタイを産んだ。
36 Attai was the father of Nathan, Nathan was the father of Zabad,
アッタイはナタンを生み、ナタンはザバデを生み、
37 Zabad was the father of Ephlal, Ephlal was the father of Obed,
ザバデはエフラルを生み、エフラルはオベデを生み、
38 Obed was the father of Jehu, Jehu was the father of Azariah,
オベデはエヒウを生み、エヒウはアザリヤを生み、
39 Azariah was the father of Helez, Helez was the father of Elasah,
アザリヤはヘレヅを生み、ヘレヅはエレアサを生み、
40 Elasah was the father of Sismai, Sismai was the father of Shallum,
エレアサはシスマイを生み、シスマイはシャルムを生み、
41 Shallum was the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah was the father of Elishama.
シャルムはエカミヤを生み、エカミヤはエリシャマを生んだ。
42 The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and Mareshah his second son, who was the father of Hebron.
エラメルの兄弟であるカレブの子らは長子をマレシャといってジフの父である。マレシャの子はヘブロン。
43 The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.
ヘブロンの子らはコラ、タップア、レケム、シマである。
44 Shema was the father of Raham the father of Jorkeam, and Rekem was the father of Shammai.
シマはラハムを生んだ。ラハムはヨルカムの父である。またレケムはシャンマイを生んだ。
45 The son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
シャンマイの子はマオン。マオンはベテヅルの父である。
46 Caleb’s concubine Ephah was the mother of Haran, Moza, and Gazez. Haran was the father of Gazez.
カレブのそばめエパはハラン、モザ、ガゼズを産んだ。ハランはガゼズを生んだ。
47 The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.
エダイの子らはレゲム、ヨタム、ゲシャン、ペレテ、エパ、シャフである。
48 Caleb’s concubine Maacah was the mother of Sheber and Tirhanah.
カレブのそばめマアカはシベルとテルハナを産み、
49 She was also the mother of Shaaph father of Madmannah, and of Sheva father of Machbenah and Gibea. Caleb’s daughter was Acsah.
またマデマンナの父シャフおよびマクベナとギベアの父シワを産んだ。カレブの娘はアクサである。
50 These were the descendants of Caleb. The sons of Hur the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim,
これらはカレブの子孫であった。エフラタの長子ホルの子らはキリアテ・ヤリムの父ショバル、
51 Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
ベツレヘムの父サルマおよびベテガデルの父ハレフである。
52 These were the descendants of Shobal the father of Kiriath-jearim: Haroeh, half the Manahathites,
キリアテ・ヤリムの父ショバル子らはハロエとメヌコテびとの半ばである。
53 and the clans of Kiriath-jearim—the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites, and Mishraites. From these descended the Zorathites and Eshtaolites.
キリアテ・ヤリムの氏族はイテルびと、プテびと、シュマびと、ミシラびとであって、これらからザレアびとおよびエシタオルびとが出た。
54 The descendants of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth-beth-joab, half the Manahathites, the Zorites,
サルマの子らはベツレヘム、ネトパびと、アタロテ・ベテ・ヨアブ、マナハテびとの半ばおよびゾリびとである。
55 and the clans of the scribes who lived at Jabez—the Tirathites, Shimeathites, and Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
またヤベヅに住んでいた書記の氏族テラテびと、シメアテびと、スカテびとである。これらはケニびとであってレカブの家の先祖ハマテから出た者である。
