< 1 Chronicles 13 >

1 Then David conferred with all his leaders, the commanders of hundreds and of thousands.
Aa le nisafiry amo mpifelek’ arivo naho zatoo vaho amo mpifehe iabio t’i Davide.
2 And he said to the whole assembly of Israel, “If it seems good to you, and if this is of the LORD our God, let us send word far and wide to the rest of our brothers in all the land of Israel, and also to the priests and Levites in their cities and pasturelands, so that they may join us.
Le hoe t’i Davide amy valobohò’ Israele iabiy, Aa naho mete ama’ areo naho am’ Iehovà Andrianañaharen-tika, antao hañitrike mb’eo mb’eo hikoike o longontika sisa amo hene tane’ Israeleo, rekets’ o mpisoroñe naho nte-Levý androva naho am-paripari’ iareoo, hifanontoñe,
3 Then let us bring back the ark of our God, for we did not inquire of Him in the days of Saul.”
hampolian-tika mb’etoa i vatan’ Añaharen-tikañey, ie tsy nipaiaen-tika tañ’ andro’ i Saole.
4 And because this proposal seemed right to all the people, the whole assembly agreed to it.
Le nanao ty hoe i valobohòkey, t’ie hanoeñe, fa nimete am-pihaino’ ze hene ondaty.
5 So David assembled all Israel, from the River Shihor in Egypt to Lebo-hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.
Aa le natonto’ i Davide t’Israele iaby, boake Sikore e Mitsraime añe pak’ am-pimoahañe e Kamate añe, hindesa’ iareo boake Kiriate-Iearime ao i vatan’ Añaharey.
6 David and all Israel went up to Baalah of Judah (that is, Kiriath-jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who is enthroned between the cherubim—the ark that is called by the Name.
Aa le nindre am’ Israele iaby t’i Davide nionjomb’e Baalà—i Kiriate-Iearime’ Iehoda—mb’eo hindesa’ iareo boak’ao i vatan’ Añahare iambesara’ Iehovà amo kerobeoy, i fikanjiañe i tahina’eiy.
7 So they carried the ark of God from the house of Abinadab on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding the cart.
Le nente’ iareo an-tsarete vao boak’ añ’ anjomba’ Abinadabe ao i vatan’ Añaharey; vaho ninday i saretey t’i Ozà naho i Akio.
8 David and all the Israelites were celebrating before God with all their might, with songs and on harps and lyres, with tambourines, cymbals, and trumpets.
Le nifale añatrefan’ Añahare an-kaliforan-kaozarañe t’i Davide naho Israele; reke-tsabo naho marovany, jejobory, fikorintsañe, fikarantsañe vaho an-trompetra.
9 When they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark, because the oxen had stumbled.
Ie nivotrak’ an-tanem-pifofoha’ i Kidone eo, le nahiti’ i Ozà ty fità’e hikalañ’ i vatay, fa ho nabalitaboa’ o añombeio.
10 And the anger of the LORD burned against Uzzah, and He struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So he died there before God.
Le nisolebotse amy Ozà ty haviñera’ Iehovà naho zinevo’e amy te nitakare’e fitàñe i vatay vaho nihomak’ añatrefan’ Añahare.
11 Then David became angry because the LORD had burst forth against Uzzah; so he named that place Perez-uzzah, as it is called to this day.
Tsy nahafale i Davide ty fitorotosi’ Iehovà amy Ozày; aa le natao Perets’ Ozà i toetsey pak’ henaneo.
12 That day David feared God and asked, “How can I ever bring the ark of God to me?”
Nahahembañe i Davide t’i Andrianañahare amy andro zay, le hoe re: Akore ty hampipoliako amako i vatan’ Añaharey?
13 So he did not move the ark with him to the City of David; instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
Aa le tsy nendese’ i Davide moly ama’e mb’an-drova’ i Davide mb’eo i vatay fa nampitsile’e mb’ añ’anjomba’ i Ovededome nte Gate ao.
14 Thus the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house for three months, and the LORD blessed his household and everything he owned.
Nitobok’ an-kasavereña’ i Ovededome añ’ anjomba’e ao telo volañe i vatan’ Añaharey; vaho nitahie’ Iehovà ty anjomba’ i Ovededome naho ze hene fanaña’e.
