< 1 Chronicles 13 >

1 Then David conferred with all his leaders, the commanders of hundreds and of thousands.
Tokosra David el pwapa yurin captain lun un mwet mweun lal — elos su kol fin tausin ac elos su kol fin foko.
2 And he said to the whole assembly of Israel, “If it seems good to you, and if this is of the LORD our God, let us send word far and wide to the rest of our brothers in all the land of Israel, and also to the priests and Levites in their cities and pasturelands, so that they may join us.
Na el fahkak nu sin mwet Israel nukewa, “Fin wo suwos, ac fin ou lungse lun LEUM GOD lasr, lela kut in sulkakinelik nu sin mwet nukewa wiasr, ac nu sin mwet tol ac mwet Levi in acn elos muta we, tuh elos in toeni yorosr in acn se inge.
3 Then let us bring back the ark of our God, for we did not inquire of Him in the days of Saul.”
Na kut fah som ac folokonma Tuptup in Wuleang lun God lasr, ma kut tuh pilesrala ke pacl Saul el tokosra ah.”
4 And because this proposal seemed right to all the people, the whole assembly agreed to it.
Mwet uh elos insewowo ac insese nu ke nunak se inge.
5 So David assembled all Israel, from the River Shihor in Egypt to Lebo-hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.
Ouinge David el eisani mwet nukewa in Israel, mutawauk in acn eir ke masrol nu Egypt, fahla nwe ke sun Innek In Utyak Nu Hamath nu epang, tuh elos in use Tuptup in Wuleang liki acn Kiriath Jearim nu Jerusalem.
6 David and all Israel went up to Baalah of Judah (that is, Kiriath-jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who is enthroned between the cherubim—the ark that is called by the Name.
Na David ac mwet uh som nu ke siti Baalah (su pangpang pac Kiriath Jearim) in facl Judah, tuh elos in eisla Tuptup in Wuleang lun God, su Inen LEUM GOD simla oan kac, ac tron lal oan fin posohksok lun cherub lukwa ah.
7 So they carried the ark of God from the house of Abinadab on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding the cart.
Elos eisla Tuptup in Wuleang liki lohm sel Abinadab ac filiya fin soko mwe wiwa sasu. Uzzah ac Ahio pa us mwe wiwa soko uh.
8 David and all the Israelites were celebrating before God with all their might, with songs and on harps and lyres, with tambourines, cymbals, and trumpets.

10 And the anger of the LORD burned against Uzzah, and He struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So he died there before God.
In kitin pacl ah, LEUM GOD El mulat sel Uzzah, ac unilya ke sripen el kahlye Tuptup sac. El misa insacn ye mutun God.
11 Then David became angry because the LORD had burst forth against Uzzah; so he named that place Perez-uzzah, as it is called to this day.
Ke ma inge acn sac pangpang Perez Uzzah in pacl sac me. David el arulana toasr lah LEUM GOD. El sang kaiyuk nu sel Uzzah ke kasrkusrak.
12 That day David feared God and asked, “How can I ever bring the ark of God to me?”
Ke ma inge David el sangeng sin God ac fahk, “Inge nga ac usla fuka Tuptup in Wuleang tuh in wiyu?”
13 So he did not move the ark with him to the City of David; instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
Ke ma inge David el tia us Tuptup sac in welul nu Jerusalem, a el filiya in lohm sin sie mwet pangpang Obed Edom, in siti Gath.
14 Thus the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house for three months, and the LORD blessed his household and everything he owned.
