< Titus 3 >

1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and authorities, to obey rulers, to be ready for every good work,
Taminaw ni kaukkungnaw hoi kâ katawnnaw e lawk a ngâi awh nahan, hnokahawi aphunphun hah a tarawi awh vaiteh coungkacoelah ao nahan,
2 to revile no one, not to be contentious, but gentle, showing all meekness to all men.
apihai pathoe laipalah, apihai taran laipalah, lungdonae hoi lungnemnae hah tami pueng koe a sak thai awh nahan dei pouh.
3 For we ourselves also were formerly foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Bangkongtetpawiteh maimouh pueng haiyah, ahmaloe teh lungangnae ka tawn hoeh e tami, lawk ka ngâi hoeh e tami, a lai kathoute tami, aphunphun hah ka doun e tami, phunepnae dueng ka sak e tami, utsinnae hoi hounlounnae dawk ka hring e tami, panuetpasa ka tho e tami, buet touh hoi buet touh ka kâmaithoe e tami lah o awh.
4 But when the kindness and philanthropy of God our Savior appeared, he saved us,
Hatei, maimouh na ka rungngangkung Cathut e a pahrennae hoi a lungpatawnae hah tami koe a kamnue hnukkhu teh,
5 not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
Maimouh ni tawksak e lannae lahoi tho laipalah, a katha lah khe teh pâsucainae hoi Kathoung Muitha e khekathanae lahoi, amae a lungmanae patetlah doeh na rungngang awh.
6 which he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;
Maimouh na ka rungngangkung Jisuh Khrih lahoi, maimouh dawkvah hote Muitha puk ka poum lah na awi awh.
7 that, being justified by his grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Bangkongtetpawiteh, maimouh teh Cathut e a lungmanae lahoi, lannae koe pha awh teh, a yungyoe hringnae ngaihawi awh e patetlah a râw kacoekung lah o awh nahane doeh. (aiōnios g166)
8 This saying is true, and in respect to these things, I will that you affirm strongly, in order that those who have believed in God may be careful to practice good works: these are the things that are honorable and profitable for men.
Hetteh yuemkamcu e lawk doeh. Cathut ka yuem e naw ni, kahawi e hno hah pou a sak awh nahan, kâhruetcuet awh nahan, hete lawknaw hah panki laihoi na cangkhai nahanelah, na ngaikhai. Hote hnonaw teh ahawi dueng laipalah tami pueng hanelah hawinae ka tâcawtkhai e lah ao.
9 But foolish questions and genealogies and strifes and contentions about the law, avoid; for they are unprofitable and vain.
Pathunae lawk pacei e naw, miphun tâconae lairuinaw, kâlawk dawk kâoun kâyuenae naw hah roun loe. Bangkongtetpawiteh, hot patet e naw teh ahawinae awmhoeh. Ayawmyin doeh.
10 A man that is a sectary, reject, after the first and second admonition,
Kâ kapek sak hanelah ka thokhai e tami hah vai touh, vai hni touh yue nateh pâlei lawih.
11 knowing that such a one is perverted, and sins, being self-condemned.
Hot patet e tami teh a yonnae a panue nahlangva vah, ka yon niteh amahoima ka kâpakhup kâpathan e tami lah doeh ao.
12 When I send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, hasten to come to me at Nicopolis; for I have determined to spend the winter there.
Artemas hoehpawiteh Taisikas hah nang koe ka patoun toteh Nikopolis kho totouh kai koe na tho thai nahan panki loe. Hote kho dawkvah kasik thapa totouh o hanelah ka kâcai.
13 Conduct Zenas the lawyer, and Apollos on their journey with care, that nothing may be wanting to them.
Kâlawk ka panuek e Zenas hoi Apollos hah banghai a voutnae lah a ceinae lam dawk kahawicalah thak loe.
14 Let our people also learn to practice good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful.
Kaimae taminaw ni a paw paw laipalah o hoeh nahan, amamouh hno hane kawi a tawn awh thai nahan, hnokahawi hah pou a tawk awh thai nahan kamtu awh naseh.
15 All that are with me salute you. Salute those who love us in faithfulness. Grace be with you all. Amen.
Kai koe kaawm e pueng ni kut na man awh. Yuemnae lahoi, kaimouh lung na ka pataw e naw hah kut man van loe. Nangmouh pueng koe a lungmanae awm yungyoe lawiseh. Amen.
