< Revelation 8 >
1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
Kane oketho kido mar abiriyo, polo nolingʼ thi kuom kinde ma dirom nus sa.
2 And I saw the seven angels that stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
Eka naneno malaike abiriyo mochungo e nyim Nyasaye, kendo nomigi turumbete abiriyo.
3 And another angel came, and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, that he might offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar that is before the throne.
Malaika moro machielo nobiro mochungo but kendo mar misango, kotingʼo tap ubani mar dhahabu. Nomiye ubani mangʼeny, kaluwore gi lemo mar jomaler duto, mondo ochiw ewi kendo mar misango molos gi dhahabu manie nyim kom duongʼ.
4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God out of the hand of the angel.
Iro mar ubani motingʼo lamo mag jomaler nodum kadhi malo e nyim Nyasaye koa e lwet malaika.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it into the earth; and there were voices and thunderings and lightnings and an earthquake.
Bangʼe malaika nokawo tap ubani, mi opongʼo gi mach moa e kendo mar misango, eka nobole e piny. Bangʼ mano polo nomil malich kariadore matek ka mor, kendo piny noyiengni.
6 And the seven angels that had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
Eka malaike abiriyo mane nigi turumbete abiriyogo ne oikore goyogi.
7 And the first angel sounded; and there were hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were thrown into the earth: and the third part of the earth was burned up, and the third part of the trees was burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
Malaika mokwongo nogoyo turumbetene, to pe gi mach mokikore gi remo ema ne owuok, kendo nopuk e piny. To bath piny moromo achiel kuom adek nowangʼ, kendo achiel kuom adek mar yien bende maromo kamano nowangʼ gi lum mangʼich duto nowangʼ.
8 And the second angel sounded; and, as it were, a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood.
Malaika mar ariyo nogoyo turumbetene, mi gima chalo gi got maduongʼ, maliel gi mach, nowiti e nam. To bath nam moromo achiel kuom adek nolokore remo,
9 And the third part of the creatures that were in the sea, that had life, died: and the third part of the ships was destroyed.
momiyo achiel kuom adek mar gik mangima manie nam notho, kendo achiel kuom adek mar yiedhi manie nam nokethi.
10 And the third angel sounded; and there fell from heaven a great star, that burned as a lamp; and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.
Eka malaika mar adek nogoyo turumbetene mi sulwe maduongʼ maliel ka toch nolwar oa e polo, nolwar kuom achiel mar adek mag aore, kendo kuom sokni duto.
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood; and the third part of the waters became wormwood: and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
Nying sulweno en, “Gima Kech,” kamano bende achiel kuom adek mar pi nolokore makech, kendo pige makechgo nomiyo ji mangʼeny otho.
12 And the fourth angel sounded; and the third part of the sun, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars was smitten, that the third part might be darkened, and that the day might not shine for the third part of it, and the night in like manner.
Kendo malaika mar angʼwen nogoyo turumbetene, mi achiel kuom adek mar chiengʼ gi achiel kuom adek mar dwe, kod mar sulwe, notimo mudho, to achiel kuom adek mar odiechiengʼ gi otieno bende notimo mudho.
13 And I saw, and heard an eagle, as he flew in mid-heaven, saying, with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining voices of the trumpets of the three angels which are yet to sound.
Bangʼe nangʼicho mi awinjo ongo mafuyo e kor polo kaywak matek niya, “Lit! Lit! Lit ni joma odak e piny, nikech turumbete modongʼ ma malaike adek biro goyo!”
