Revelation 19
1 After these things, I heard the great voice of a vast multitude in heaven, saying: Alleluia; Salvation and glory and honor and power to our God:
És ezek után, mint egy nagy sokaságnak hangos szavát hallottam az égben, amely ezt mondta: „Halleluja, Az üdvösség és dicsőség és a tisztesség és a hatalom az Úré, a mi Istenünké.
2 for true and righteous are his judgments, for he has judged the great harlot that corrupted the earth with her lewdness; and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
Mert igazak és igazságosak az ő ítéletei, mert elítélte azt a nagy paráznát, aki a földet megrontotta paráznaságával, mert megtorolta rajta szolgáinak vérét.
És másodszor is mondták: Halleluja, annak füstje felszáll örökkön örökké.“ (aiōn g165)
4 And the twenty-four elders, and the four living creatures, fell down, and worshiped God that sits upon the throne, saying: Amen, Alleluia.
És leborult a huszonnégy vén és a négy élőlény, és imádták az Istent, aki királyi székében ült, és így szóltak: „Ámen! Halleluja!“
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying: Praise our God all you his servants, and you that fear him, both small and great.
És a királyi szék felől szózat hallatszott, amely ezt mondta: „Dicsérjétek a mi Istenünket ti szolgái mindnyájan, akik félitek őt, kicsinyek és nagyok!“
6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying: Alleluia; for the Lord God the Almighty reigns.
És hallottam, mint egy nagy sokaság szavát, és mint nagy vizek zúgását, és mint erős mennydörgés szavát: Halleluja, mert uralkodik az Úr, a mi Istenünk, a Mindenható!
7 Let us rejoice and be glad, and give glory to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.
Örüljünk és örvendezzünk és adjunk dicsőséget neki, mert eljött a Bárány menyegzője, fölkészült menyasszonya
8 And to her was given that she should be clothed in fine linen, clean arid white; for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.
és megadatott neki, hogy felöltözzék tiszta és ragyogó gyolcsba. A fehér gyolcs a szentek igaz cselekedetei.
9 And he said to me: Write, Blessed are they that are called to the marriage-supper of the Lamb. And he said to me: These are the true words of God.
És ezt mondta nekem: „Írd meg: Boldogok azok, akik a Bárány menyegzőjének vacsorájára hivatalosak!“És ezt mondta: „Ezek Isten igaz beszédei.“
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him; and he said to me: See that you do it not; I am your fellow-servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus; worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
És leborultam lába előtt, hogy imádjam őt, de ezt mondta nekem: „Meglásd, ne tedd! Szolgatársad vagyok neked és a te atyádfiainak, akiknél Jézus bizonyságtétele van. Istent imádd, mert Jézus bizonyságtétele a prófétaság lelke.“
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat on him was called faithful and true, and in righteousness does he judge, and make war.
És láttam, hogy az ég megnyílt, és íme egy fehér ló, és aki azon ült, azt így hívják: Hű és Igaz, mert igazságosan ítél és hadakozik.
12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on his head were many diadems; and he had a name written which no one knew, but he himself.
Szemei olyanok, mint a tűz lángja, fején sokágú korona, rajta egy név volt írva, amit senki sem tud, csak ő maga.
13 And he was clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of God.
És vérrel behintett ruhába volt öltözve, és a neve ez: Isten Igéje.
14 And the armies that were in heaven followed him on white horses; and they were clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
És mennyei seregek követték őt fehér lovakon, fehér és tiszta gyolcsba öltözve.
15 And out of his mouth goes a sharp, two-edged sword, that with it he may smite the nations; and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; and he treads the wine-press of the fiercest wrath of God, the Almighty.
És szájából éles kard jött ki, hogy azzal sújtson a pogányokra, és ő fogja azokat vasvesszővel legeltetni, és ő fogja taposni a mindenható Isten búsult haragjának borsajtóját.
16 And he has, on his raiment and on his thigh, a name written, King of kings, and Lord of lords.
És az ő ruhájára és derekára oda volt írva az ő neve: királyok Királya és uraknak Ura.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven. Come, gather yourselves to the great supper of God,
És láttam egy angyalt állni a napban és hangos szóval kiáltott mindenféle madárnak, amely az ég közepén repdesett: „Jöjjetek, gyűljetek egybe Isten nagy vacsorájára,
18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of officers, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all, both freemen and servants, both small and great.
hogy egyétek a királyok húsát, a vezérek húsát és a hatalmasok húsát és a lovaknak és a rajtuk ülőknek húsát és minden szabad ember és rabszolga húsát, kicsikét és nagyokét.“
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, assembled together to make war with him that sat on the horse, and with his army.
És láttam, hogy a fenevad és a föld királyai és az ő seregeik egybegyűltek, hogy hadakozzanak az ellen, aki a lovon ült és az ő serege ellen,
20 And the beast was taken, and the false prophet that was with him, who did signs in his presence, with which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast, and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire, which burns with brimstone. (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
21 And the rest were slain with the sword of him that sat on the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
A többieket megölte a lovon ülő kardja, amely szájából jött ki, a madarak mind jóllaktak azok húsával.
