Philippians 3
1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is to me indeed not burdensome; but for you it is safe.
În sfârșit, frații mei, bucurați-vă în Domnul! Ca să vă scriu aceleași lucruri, pentru mine, într-adevăr, nu este obositor, dar pentru voi este sigur.
2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the concision.
Ferește-te de câini, ferește-te de lucrătorii răi, ferește-te de falsa tăiere împrejur.
3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;
Căci noi suntem circumcizia, care ne închinăm lui Dumnezeu în Duhul și ne bucurăm în Hristos Isus, și nu ne încredem în carne;
4 though, indeed, I have a ground of confidence in the flesh. If any other thinks he has a ground of confidence in the flesh, I more;
deși eu însumi aș putea să mă încredințez chiar în carne. Dacă altcineva crede că are încredere în carne, eu încă și mai mult:
5 circumcised the eighth day, of the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; as it respects law, a Pharisee;
tăiat împrejur în ziua a opta, din neamul lui Israel, din seminția lui Beniamin, evreu din Evrei; în privința legii, fariseu;
6 as it respects zeal, persecuting the church; as it respects righteousness which is by law, blameless.
în privința zelului, persecutând adunarea; în privința dreptății care este în lege, găsit fără vină.
7 But the things which were gain to me, these I counted loss for Christ.
Dar ceea ce era pentru mine un câștig, consider că este o pierdere pentru Hristos.
8 Yes, verily, I also count all things to be loss, for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them to be refuse, that I may gain Christ,
Da, cu siguranță, și consider că toate lucrurile sunt o pierdere pentru excelența cunoașterii lui Hristos Isus, Domnul meu, pentru care am suferit pierderea tuturor lucrurilor și nu le socotesc decât gunoi, ca să-L câștig pe Hristos
9 and be found in him, not having my own righteousness which was by law, but the righteousness which is by faith in Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith,
și să fiu găsit în El, neavând o neprihănire a mea, cea care vine din Lege, ci cea care este prin credința în Hristos, neprihănirea care vine de la Dumnezeu prin credință,
10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, by conforming myself to his death,
pentru ca să-L cunosc pe El și puterea învierii Sale și părtășia suferințelor Sale, devenind conform cu moartea Sa,
11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
dacă prin orice mijloc pot ajunge la învierea din morți.
12 Not that I have already attained, or have already reached the goal; but I am pressing forward, that I may lay hold on that for which I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus.
Nu că aș fi obținut deja sau că sunt deja desăvârșit, ci mă silesc să mă apuc de ceea ce am fost și eu apucat prin Hristos Isus.
13 Brethren, I do not conclude that I have already laid hold:
Fraților, nu mă consider încă stăpân pe mine însumi, dar un lucru știu: uitând cele de pe urmă și tinzând spre cele de dinainte,
14 but one thing I do; forgetting the things which are behind, and reaching forward to those which are before, I press toward the goal, for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
urmăresc să ajung la țintă, pentru premiul chemării înalte a lui Dumnezeu în Hristos Isus.
15 Let us, therefore, as many as are fully enlightened, be of this mind: and if you are of another mind with respect to any thing, God will reveal even this to you.
Să gândim, așadar, ca toți cei care suntem desăvârșiți, să gândim astfel. Dacă în ceva gândiți altfel, Dumnezeu vă va descoperi și acest lucru.
16 But as far as we have attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us have the same mind.
Cu toate acestea, în măsura în care am ajuns deja, să umblăm după aceeași regulă. Să avem același gând.
17 Be imitators of me, brethren, and observe those who thus walk as you have us for an example.
Fraților, fiți împreună imitatori ai mei și luați aminte la cei ce umblă pe calea aceasta, după cum ne aveți pe noi ca pildă.
18 For many walk, of whom I often said to you, and now say even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of the Christ,
Căci mulți umblă, despre care v-am spus de multe ori, și acum vă spun chiar plângând, ca vrăjmașii crucii lui Hristos,
19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.
al căror scop este pieirea, al căror dumnezeu este pântecele și a căror slavă este în rușinea lor, care se gândesc la lucruri pământești.
20 But our citizenship is in heaven, whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Căci cetățenia noastră este în ceruri, de unde așteptăm și noi un Mântuitor, pe Domnul Isus Hristos,
21 who will transform our humbled body, and make it like his glorious body, according to that power by which he is able to subdue all things to himself.
care va schimba trupul umilinței noastre, ca să se conformeze trupului slavei Sale, după lucrarea prin care poate chiar să supună toate lucrurile lui însuși.
