< Matthew 7 >
1 Judge not, that you may not be judged:
Saankayo a mangukom, tapno saankayonto a maukom.
2 for with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you measure, it shall be measured to you.
Ta no kasano ti panangukomyo, kastanto met ti pannakaukomyo. Ken ti rukod a pangrukodyo, isunto met ti mairukod kadakayo.
3 And why do you look at the splinter that is in your brother’s eye, but perceive not the beam that is in your own eye?
Ken apay a kitaenyo ti bassit a puted ti garami iti mata ti kabsatyo, ngem saanyo a madlaw ti troso nga adda iti bukodyo a mata?
4 Or, how will you say to your brother, Let me pull out the splinter from your eye: and lo; a beam is in your own eye?
Kasanoyo nga ibaga iti kabsatyo, 'Bay-am nga ikkatek ti bassit a puted ti garami nga adda iti matam,' idinto ta adda dakkel a troso iti matam?
5 Hypocrite! first pull the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to pull the splinter out of your brother’s eye.
Dakayo managinsisingpet! Ikkatenyo pay nga umuna ti troso iti matayo, ket kalpasanna, makitayonto a silalawag ti ikkatenyo a bassit a puted ti garami nga adda iti mata ti kabsatyo.
6 Give not that which is holy to dogs, nor throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and tear you.
Saanyo nga ited ti nasantoan kadagiti aso, ken saanyo nga ipurruak dagiti perlasyo iti sangoanan dagiti baboy. Di laketta ibaddebaddekda dagitoy, ket tumallikodda ken rangrangkayen dakayo.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.
Dumawatkayo, ket maitedto daytoy kadakayo. Agsapulkayo, ket masarakanyonto. Agtuktokkayo, ket mailulakatto daytoy kadakayo.
8 For every one that asks, receives; and he that seeks, finds; and to him that knocks, it shall be opened.
Ta tunggal maysa nga agdawat, ket umawat; ken ti tunggal maysa nga agsapul, makasarak; ken ti tao nga agtuktok, ket mailukatanto.
9 What man is there of you, of whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Wenno siasino kadakayo a no dumawat ti anakna a lalaki iti tinapay, ket ikkanna iti bato?
10 And if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
Wenno, no dumawat iti lames, ikkanna kadi iti uleg?
11 If then you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him?
Ngarud, no dakayo a managdakdakes ammoyo ti mangted iti nasayaat a sagut kadagiti annakyo, saan kadi a nangnangruna a ni Amayo manipud langit ket mangted kadagiti nasayaat a banbanag kadagiti dumawat kenkuana?
12 All things, therefore, whatever you would that men should do to you, even so do you to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Ngarud, aniaman a banag a kayatyo nga aramiden dagiti tao kadakayo, aramidenyo met ngarud daytoy kadakuada, ta daytoy ti linteg ken insurat dagiti profeta.
13 Enter in through the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction; and many there are that go in through it.
Sumrekkayo iti nailet a ruangan. Ta nalawa ti ruangan ken nalawa ti dalan nga agturong iti pannakadadael, ket adu dagiti tattao nga agturong iti daytoy.
14 How strait is the gate, and how narrow the way, that leads to life! and few there are that find it.
Ngem ti ruangan nga agturong iti biag ket nailet, ket bassit ti makasarak iti daytoy.
15 But beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but within are ravenous wolves.
Agannad kadagiti palso a profeta, nga umay kadakayo a nakakawes a kas iti karnero ngem iti kinapudnona narungsotda a lobo.
16 By their fruits you will know them. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles?
Maam-amoyo isuda babaen kadagiti bungada. Agurnong kadi dagiti tao iti ubas manipud kadagiti bassit a narabuy ken nasiit a mula wenno igos manipud kadagiti sisiit?
17 So every good tree produces goodly fruit: but an unsound tree produces diseased fruit.
Iti kasta met laeng a wagas, amin a nasayaat a kayo ket mangpataud iti nasayaat a bunga, ngem ti dakes a kayo ket mangpataud iti dakes a bunga.
18 A good tree can not produce diseased fruit; nor can an unsound tree produce goodly fruit.
Ti maysa a nasayat a kayo ket saan a makapataud iti saan a nasayaat a bunga, ken kasta met a ti dakes a kayo ket saan a makapataud iti nasayaat a bunga.
19 Every tree that does not produce goodly fruit, is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Tunggal kayo a saan nga agbunga iti nasayaat ket maputed ken maipurruak iti apuy.
20 Therefore, by their fruits you shall know them.
No kasta ngarud, mailasinyonto ida babaen kadagiti bungada.
21 Not every one that says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Saan nga amin a mangibaga kaniak, ' 'Apo, Apo,' ket makastrekto iti pagarian ti langit, ngem dagiti laeng nangaramid iti pagayatan ni Amak nga adda sadi langit.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name cast out demons, and in thy name done many mighty works?
Adunto a tattao ti agkuna kaniak iti dayta nga aldaw, 'Apo, Apo, saan kadi a nagipadtokami babaen iti naganmo, iti naganmo pinaksiatmi dagiti demonio, ken iti naganmo nagaramidkami kadagiti agkakabileg nga aramid?'
23 And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.
Ket ibagakto kadakuada, 'Saankayo nga am-ammo! Umadayokayo kaniak, dakayo a managdakdakes!'
24 Therefore, whoever hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on the rock:
Ngarud, tunggal maysa a makangeg kadagiti sasaok ken mangtungpal kadagitoy ket kaslanto iti maysa a nasirib a tao a nangipatakder iti balayna iti rabaw ti bato.
25 and the rain descended, and the torrents came, and the winds blew, and they beat against that house, and it fell not: for it was founded on the rock.
Immay ti tudo, immay ti layus, nagangin iti napigsa iti dayta a balay, ngem saan a narba, gapu ta naipatakder iti rabaw ti bato.
26 And every one that hears these words of mine, and does them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand.
Ngem tunggal maysa a makangngeg kadagiti sasaok ket saanna a tungpalen dagitoy, kaslanto iti maag a tao a nangipatakder iti balayna iti kadaratan.
27 And the rain descended, and the torrents came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell: and great was its fall.
Immay ti tudo, immay ti layus, ken nagangin iti napigsa iti dayta a balay. Ket narba daytoy, ken naminpinsan ti pannakadadaelna.”
28 And it came to pass when Jesus had ended these words, that the multitudes were astonished at his teaching:
Ket idi nalpas a naibaga ni Jesus dagitoy a sasao, nasdaaw dagiti tattao gapu iti panangisurona,
29 for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
ta insurona ida a kas maysa nga addaan iti turay, ken saan a kas kadagiti eskriba.
